Max Lagotto
Max is a simple name, but he just seems like a Max to me.
Lagotto is inspired from how truffles are commonly found by dogs (or pigs), and even though any dog breed could be trained to find truffles the Lagotto Romagnolo is currently the only dog breed recognized for sniffing out truffles. Lago in italian also means lake, and since most pseudodragons love water, I thought that it's even more fitting.

His favourite food is truffles. Not because he likes to eat them; he's never actually tried them before.
Truffles are Max's favourite food due to the fact that they are very expensive and highly valued. Max makes his living by stealing truffles and selling them to whoever wants to pay good money for the high quality fungus.
So of course he dearly loves the food; he wouldn't be able to live as well as he does without it.
In the picture he has fallen asleep all pleased with his hard day's work stealing truffles. I was going to add a satchel/bag between the two truffles, but I decided that'd make it too complicated.
His favourite food to eat is dark chocolate creme brulee, preferably with hazelnut praline.
