Mercat's Personality: Scout's given name is actually Anemone, but because it's difficult to pronounce, and because of her job as a scout, everyone calls her Scout. She is a very happy-go-lucky mercat, but she hides the guilt inside of her, as she once got careless on watch and let a shark get past, which proceeded to kill another mercat. Her friends have tried to tell her it isn't her fault, but she doesn't believe them. Her belief is that she will only get a sense of closure if she can just talk to the mercat whose life the death touched most, but she's too afraid.
