Mercat's Personality: Koschei was once looked up to by many mercats, until the death of his friend by a shark drove him insane. He flew into a rage at anyone who even mentioned sharks. The only one able to calm him is Diana; she was there for the attack, and he always has and always will have a soft spot for the spunky mercat.
Even with her calming him, though, he made it his lifelong mission to exterminate all sharks, and on several occasions has nearly gotten himself killed trying. Other mercats try to talk sense into him, but if they don't succeed soon, it's only a matter of time before the inevitable happens and Koschei is reunited with his old friend.
