Horse's Name: Lucifer
I chose the name Lucifer because I believe it fits his personality and coloring.
The name Lucifer is Latin in origin and translates to a number of adjectives and
words including these - shining one, daystar, morning star, light-bringing and
bringer of dawn. Many people often link the name Lucifer with the name Satan,
but they are not the same thing. In fact, they are two different entities. I don't
want Lucifer's name to have a pall set on it because of preconceptions.

Short Personality: (or not so short, I guess it's more of a persona/history... I hope that's ok...)
As his name suggests, Lucifer was a bit of a rebel in his younger days. He was often out alone and exploring places he was strictly told not to go to. As he grew older though, Lucifer grew out of his rebellious stage and took life more seriously. He became very loyal and protective of the few friends he had, and if anyone thought it was an act he simply ignored them and continued on with what he was doing. He didn't have a lot of ambition and just wanted to have a few friends and eventually a mare to call his own. But his protective streak was used against him, and he was framed for a crime and kicked out of his herd at the age of four. Now alone, Lucifer has developed a darker personality. He still has his protective side, but whenever it comes out it brings him grief. He tends to stay alone, but always finds himself drifting towards others. Lucifer decided it was better for him to stay alone and is constantly engaged in mental warfare. He is sane, so to speak, but not always sound of mind. If you saw him, you would see a strong, proud DAM, but once you see his eyes, there is no question of all the pain and turmoil inside him.
