Username I am Black tabby, although back when I originally tried out for this kia, I went by Midnightbird. Since then I've learned a lot, changed my name, and now I hope that I can finally get my first kia.
Name As I mentioned before, I tried out for him originally, but I will be pretending I didn't.
Infinite is the perfect name now, so that's what I'll be using. Infinite as in Infinite hope, Infinite determination ...
Infinite perfection.
Favorite place and why What Infinite really loves are city streets. Not only does he know a lot about the alleys and passageways, but he likes the feeling of the city moving around him. Silence and sitting still are two things Infinite hates, and on a walk through the city, he never has to do either of those.
Taking walks in daylight is one thing. But at night, the city really brings Infinite to life. He can do more daring things, and loves the feeling of it all being a "secret".
Personality While he can sometimes seem very mature, Infinite is sometimes extremely impish as well. Man, his I-just-did-something-weird-that-I-shouldn't-have-done giggle (his signature trademark) is annoying. Infinite is often the one to harbour a grudge and plot revenge - forgive and forget just doesn't work for him. However, Infinite is also generally a very calm kia, to the point of seeming indifferent to nearly everything. Maybe part of this is because he is a pessimist, tending to only see the bad side of everything. Ever since he was a kid, Infinite has been a rule-breaker. He's generally very sarcastic to his superiors when caught in the act. One more thing; Infinite happens to be far over on the arrogant side of things - he has a huge ego.
Infinite has a lot of laughable quirks, including being double-jointed (it's creepy), using random items, like bottle caps, as toys, and on occasion randomly (but quietly) bursting into song. He has a sweet side, which he often tries to hide behind a confident smirk, and is actually very funny when you get to know him. Infinite is pretty intelligent, and able to think quickly, which is useful in tossing back smart replies. He is also a very athletic kia, as he loves running and does it practically every day. He's also very focused on what he's doing, unless of course he gets distracted by music.
Poem "what I see" - by me
Quiet down, it's only me
But let me tell you what I see;
A newborn bird, a hunting eagle
The lowest down, the highest regal
A snowflake touch, a deadly blow
The dimmest dark, the brightest glow
A peaceful meadow, a hectic city
A heart of ice, a heart with pity
Quiet down, it's only you ...

Story Infinite swaggered down the sidewalk, walking in the middle like he was hot stuff. The worn bag slung over his shoulder was filled with supplies for drawing, a hobby he didn't admit to often. And he figured he didn't need to - everyone's image of Infinite was fine just as it was. He didn't need to be potentially ruined by telling everyone.
It was a grey, dull day, and dark. Some cars had their headlights on, and the street lamps had lit up automatically. Clouds trailed across the sky like defeated warriors, suspended in a sluggish breeze. It had been raining all morning, but now that the storm was over and it was just drizzling slightly, Infinite was walking to the park to work on some more sketches. His eyes were half closed, to defend his vision from the rain, and also so he could remember the curves of the faces he had been working on.
Infinite paused, mid-step, at a high-pitched crying sound from the alley he was passing. Just as he was deciding it was just car breaks or something, the sound came again. What the heck, I have time, Infinite thought. He could check in the alley. The wail came again as Infinite stepped into the dripping, stinking alleyway. He pushed his way through the soaked wasteland - several of the garbage cans appeared to have spilled over - and pushed a few things to the side. At first it sounded to Infinite like it was the ground wailing, but as he extended his hand slowly, the "asphalt" bit him and revealed itself to be a cat. A scrawny, dappled blue-grey kitten. So thin it was just a twig really. "Hello, Twig," said Infinite slowly, picking up the kitten.
Change of plans. He was taking the cat home.
Story is my extra. All kias are in anthro form.
