There is no determined meaning, it's just a combination of 'Mega' and 'Charizard'. But instead of an ''A'' at the end, it was replaced with an ''O''. He is often called ''Ari'' or ''Zego''.

Age: 46

Zego is getting up there, not the youngest jellybean dragon, but not the oldest either. Despite him being in the mid forties, he is very active and is always challenging opponents.

Personality: courageous - challenging - moody - stubborn - self-centered

Okay, let's just say Arizego is not the most kind jellybean dragon you'd meet.

Part of this contributes to his 'dark- JBD side'. It always apparently sticks with him, and he can careless about how it affects the other person's feelings. Does not matter If your his best friend in the whole entire universe or a stranger walking down the street. Ari will flip on you, give attitude, and snap viciously in a verbal way that no one can imagine. He tries his hardest to avoid being moody - but the more he does the worse it gets.

Stubborn - if it's not Zego's way, it's incorrect
Does not matter if you solve 2 + 2 in a certain way, it must be done his method. Ari can care less if you get the answer right, either - if its not done the ''perfect'' way then you have it wrong. This is a very major aspect that takes place in his life, and many envy him or perhaps dislike him for acting so disappointing rude and slightly annoying.

Self centered - Everything is about him, he must be put first

If I win this bean, his name will be Xander, or Xan for short. The reason why I chose to name him Xander is because the name begins with the letter X. It sounds cool too!

Xander is...

Competitive - Don't ever challenge Xander to a contest, competition, etc. He is most likely going going to accept and try to beat you, even if he knows he can't win. Whether racing, battling or taking on an eating contest, he will take up any challenge and isn't afraid to win or lose, although he hates losing.
A Show-off - He often breathes his flames to pretend he is someone great. What makes his flames different are the flames at both sides of his mouth. They don't act like normal flames, they just increase slightly in size at most.
A Softy - When he's not in public, but only in his cave, he likes cuddles and having his head stroked by his loved one. Just be careful if you say anything soppy in public to him because he will turn.
Imaginative - Yes, that's right, he has imagination. Ever since childhood, he's been into Pokemon and has even drawn realistic Fakemon, tricking other Pokemon fans into thinking they were real.
Sociable - Xander's always been happy to be around others, Beans or other species in the world. He acts different and says different things in different places. For example, with other Beans, he never mentions Pokemon. Ever.

Disclaimers: 1. The story is purely fictional and any bean or name in the story is coincidental. 2. If I make a mistake in the tournament part, I'm sorry. I'm somewhat unfamiliar with Pokemon cards and am slowly getting back into them.

Xander's First Poke-Fest
Part 1 - Arriving in Heaven
Xander, the black and blue JellyBean Dragon, had known about the up-coming annual Poke-Fest for a couple of months and was very excited, although he never showed his excitement. A week before the Poke-Fest started, he created his deck which revolved around Dragonite, his favourite Dragon type Pokemon. The star Pokemon in the deck was the Dratini evolution line. He'd also created a couple of other decks to play with. He kept the other cards in their binders and put his deck into home-made card sleeves.

It was finally the week of the annual Poke-Fest. Xander had been there since the crack of dawn! He was outside as it opened and entered with the other Poke-fans. This was the first time he'd ever been to a tournament so he was amazed at how big the place was inside! His red eyes shone in pure joy as he looked around the place and went to each stall to look at the merchandise they were selling. "This is the best place ever" he said happily, more to himself than anyone else.

As he browsed the stalls, he came across one that had binders full of cards that were for sale. He flicked through the binders and studied each card that looked worthy to be in his decks. In one particular binder, he spotted three cards that were missing from his almost-complete XY base set: Blastoise EX, Mega Blastoise EX and Mega Venusaur EX. The Mega-X ChariBean grew very excited and his heart raced as he snapped up a copy of each of the Blastoise and one of the Venusaur. He paid for them and laughed in glee as he put them in his pouch so they wouldn't be damaged.

Everyone else was going about their businesses, mingling with old friends and making new ones. The entire location was bustling with activity and buzzing with excitement. There were all sorts of species from all around the world! Xander scanned the room and found no other JellyBean Dragon. He didn't really care though. He made some new friends during the first day and had some friendly battles, both on his 3DS and with his cards. He knew there was going to be a Pokemon Tournament in the last three days and that the top three winners would recieve three extremely rare cards!

On the second day of the Poke-Fest, he was playing a mini-tournament with his friends he made the day before. Not once did he reveal his Dragonite Deck, as that deck was his secret deck, and only for Pokemon Tournaments. Instead, he played his Playing with Fire Deck (his Fire-type deck), which starred the Charmander evolution line and his Fists of Fury (his Fighting-type deck), which starred the Machop evolution line. Little did he know that someone out of his sight was watching him with fascination and interest.

"Excuse me, guys, I need to go to the toilet" Xan said and smiled as he stood up, the blue flames escaping both sides of his mouth. "See you in a few" he also said before he left in a hurry. He scurried away to do what he needed to do, completely unaware he was being followed.

Part 2 - A ChariBean Reunion
As he opened the stall door after he'd finished, he saw the figure who followed him before. Xan's red eyes and this figure's blue eyes locked together in the toilet mirror.The stranger was another JellyBean Dragon, and even better, he was a ChariBean. He was also based on the opposite one to what Xander was based on.

The new ChariBean was based on Mega-Y Charizard. He was mostly orange with a pale yellow bottom jaw and underbelly which continued to the tip of his tail. On both sides of his back, Xander could see what looked like dark turquoise ripped wing markings, and his tail brush was orange and yellow, as opposed to Xander's two-toned blue tail brush. He had a pale yellow Y on his right back leg and a Key Stone tied to his tail.

The stranger smiled and spoke first. "Hello, Xander" he said with a slightly higher-pitched voice than Xan.

Xander growled and furrowed his eyebrows, "Who are you and what do you want?"

"Now, now" the orange ChariBean said and turned around to look straight at Xander. "First off, I am Yoshi and I've been looking for you."

Xander's mouth-side flames increased in size slightly and he gave a warning puff of blue fire. "Stay away from me! I don't need anyone!" he warned.

Yoshi chuckled. "Xander, Xander, Xander" he tutted and shook his head. "I've been travelling the world to find you, gone to all the major Pokemon events, hoping you were there..."

"Why?" the dark-coloured Charibean demanded. "Why have you been looking for me?"

"Because" Yoshi started and put his forepaws in his pouch. "You, Xander... are my twin brother."

Silence occured for a few seconds, then Xan burst out laughing. He had to support himself on the edges of the sinks. Yoshi frowned, hurt and upset by Xander's reaction. Unlike Xan, who was mainly a bad boy and unfriendly, Yoshi was caring and gentle towards others.

"Surely you can't be my brother! I don't even know you!" Xander said between laughs.

Yoshi was prepared for this and rummaged in his pouch. After a few seconds, he pulled out a photo and showed it to Xan. It was a picture of when the two Charibeans were kids and they were building sandcastles at the beach. "Do you remember this, Xan?"

Xan looked at the picture after he finished laughing and gasped. He took the picture and teared up, showing his rare emotions. "I remember this" he said and looked at Yoshi. "Oh Yoshi! I missed you!"

"It's ok, brother" Yoshi smiled warmly and took the picture back. "I'm just happy I found you again."

Part 3 - Battle of the ChariBeans
In the days leading up to the beginning of the yearly Pokemon Tournament at the Poke-Fest, the two brothers hung out and got to know each other, since they'd lost years of growing up. It turned out that both ChariBeans were big fans of Pokemon! And they had both brought decks to battle in the Pokemon Tournament. When Xan had a friendly battle with Yoshi, it appeared that they were both quite competitive.

"I hope to face you in the Championships, Yoshi" Xander smirked.

"Of course. I'll see you there, Xander" Yoshi laughed and they high-fived each other before parting ways.

Eventually, the Pokemon Tournaments started and the Tournament Table had two competitors and a judge so there was no cheating involved. All the cards had been checked for the contest and they started. Every competitor played by the rules and the winners went onto the next round. Most battle lasted around twenty to thirty minutes but some were drawn out to last as long as over an ! When it was Xander's turn to battle, his team wiped out the opponent's Pokemon and he took all six prizes rather quickly!

The Pokemon Battle rounds flew by with the group of species watching growing into a rather large crowd from Tournament Day One to Tournament Day Three. By Day Three, there was only Xan and Yoshi left. Day Three was the Championships Day and Yoshi was preparing himself as he talked to his friends. "I'm going to beat him, once and for all" he grinned cockily.

Finally, it was time for the battle to start. First, the ChariBeans shuffled their own decks, which took about five minutes. Then the decks were put in the top right of the board on both sides and cut in half then the bottom half was on the top by the opponent. The final thing was that the brothers shook hands.

"May the best brother win" Xan smirked.

"Oh, I intend to" Yoshi laughed.

Xander placed six prize cards, which came from the top of his deck, to his left. He didn't look at them or he'd be cheating. He then took seven cards from his deck and placed a Dratini in the active spot, which was at the top. Yoshi had done the same, but he had a different tactic and placed a Vulpix in the active spot on his side of the board.

Then the match really began.

Xander tried his best to beat Yoshi with his Stage Two Dragonite, but he never really got that far. Before Xander could even make a scratch on any of Yoshi's pokemon, the orange ChariBean had evolved his Vulpix into a Ninetales and blasted Xan away with Hexed Flame, Hypnotoxic Laser and Virbank City Gym, poisoning Xan's pokemon and also putting them to sleep. Xander kept trying to evolve his Dratinis into Dragonites so he could use Deafen which would make Yoshi unable to play any item cards. In the end, all of Yoshi's six prizes had been taken whereas Xander had only taken two prize cards.

"And the winner is Yoshi!" the judge announced.

The audience cheered and Xan felt like a failure. The organiser of the Pokemon Tournament took Yoshi, Xan and the third-placer and gave the top three winners the trio of extremely rare pokemon cards. "Thank you" Xander said with a smile plastered on his face then left, tucking the three cards in his pouch. Yoshi appeared beside his younger brother and stopped him.

"Hey, Xan. What's wrong?" Yoshi asked with worry.

Xan looked at Yoshi with a mixture of sadness and anger in his eyes. "I wanted to win" he replied in a sulky matter.

Yoshi hugged Xander. "I have something to give you, something you found and gave to me when we were kids all those years ago."

"What?" the black-and-blue Bean simply asked.

Yoshi grinned and brought his tail forward. He untied the black string which held the rainbow-coloured Key Stone and went behind his twin to tie it on his tail. "There."

"Really?" Xan asked with tears his red eyes.

Yoshi smiled and nodded, his blue eyes glinting as he saw his brother happy. "Yes, Xan. Really. Always remember that I never forgot about you and I missed you" he said and hugged Xander, who returned the hug.

"Thank you" Xan smiled happily. "I better go now, the others will be wondering where I am."

"Ok, I'll see you next year" Yoshi replied softly and shook Xan's hand.

"Yep, I'll see you around" Xan grinned and the two ChariBeans parted ways, knowing they'll see the other at the next Pokemon event, wherever that may be.

I have decided to give this male bean here the name of Blue. This is because in his mega evolved form, he is black with some blue markings - and I thought it would suit this bean a lot.
Blue is around the age of 23 - thats what he says, anyway. He has never told anyone his real age - or it could actually be that he is 23 years of age. But some say he is older, and others will say he is younger then that - if he will ever reveal his real age, only time will tell - but for now, don't question him about it.

His personality? Well, Blue is sometimes a confusing character to explain, and tell others about how he acts. At first, he is a nice, friendly male who is outgoing and likes to make friends - it is hard not to want to become his friend - he has that attitude that makes you want to be his friend and want to hang around him...most of the time. Other times - although rarely in front of his friends, he can become a bit violent and not listen to what he is told what to do - he doesn't like to be bossed around, and if you try he will just sit there and ignore you - sometimes you will try to force him or want to, but try and you might turn out with a nearly burnt face. He wouldn't harm anyone on purpose, but he does that just to warn you to leave him alone or not to force him to do anything, he doesn't like it. But most of the time he is just friendly and a nice bean in general.

Charizard - Lvl 93 - Male
Heat Wave - Fly - Inferno - Blast Burn

His Charizard is his strongest pokemon - the second starter he chose, and his second fire type. Despite the fact he had his Braxien first, Charizard came out on top and was the highest leveled pokemon in his team for a fair while, and sill is. His Chariard hardly looses any fights - even against water types, if that happens he usually uses Fly to avoid most water attacks. He also holds the Mega Charizardite X, which allows him to Mega Evolve into a stronger and different form, which is what Blue looks like himself. He has a Brave Nature, and Blue had him since the start - He'll never take him out of his team, as he is the leader of it - he is the strongest. And he always will be that, Blue's next goal with him is to get him to Lvl 100.


Braixen - Lvl 90 - Female - Shiny
Psyshock - Flamethrower - Fire Blast - Flame Charge

The first starter Blue chose in Kalos - his first pokemon and shiny. He kept restarting his game until he managed to get a shiny - only took about 16 times. He placed an Everstone on the Braxien once it evolved from Fennekin, as he does not like Delphox at all. This Braxien has grown to be a stronger pokemon, and is a loyal companion. She has a Calm nature, and has a lot of speed, so she outruns most of her enemies and attacks first, which comes in handy if she faces dark or water type pokemon. Red's next goal is to get her to Lvl 100, and then maybe he might evolve her.


Sylveon - Lvl 90 - Female - Shiny
Moonblast - Shadowball - Hyper Voice - Heal Bell
This Sylveon was from a WonderTrade, when she was only a Lvl 1 Eevee. She had been a shiny, a lucky catch - and she even came with a fairy type move called 'Baby Doll Eyes'. Red trained her, wanting her to be the first Lvl 100 Eevee he had ever had, since in other games he had the other Eeveelutions. But at around Lvl 50, he accidentally evolved her into a Sylveon - he hadn't meant to, but when he fought with this pokemon he didn't regret it. She has a Quiet nature, and is the third strongest pokemon on Blue's team. Next goal ;; Lvl 100 like the other two.


Zozoark - Lvl 87 - Male
Rock Smash - Night Slash - Night Daze - Agility

This pokemon is the newest addition to this pokemon team - he had been obtained in a trade for a shiny Noibat - He had arrived when he was Lvl 60. He was weak at first, only having one attacking move, Night Slash, but Blue trained him and got him to where he is today, with a strong move set and at an already high level. He holds an item called the Amulet Coin, and Blue often brings him out to confuse other trainers, as he changes into the last pokemon in his team. He has a Relaxed Nature, and the next goal for him is to get to Lvl 90 - he isn't far off.

Lucario - Lvl 86 - Male
Extreme Speed - Aura Spere - Close Combat - Dragon Pulse

This pokemon here was the fourth pokemon who came to the team. He had been gifted to Blue by one of the Pokemon Gym Leaders after they fought with the two Lucario's she had. At first, he didn't want the Lucario - he wanted to catch the rest of his team, and he tried to resist accepting, but he eventually did and took the Lucario. And now, he wound not regret it. Lucario is a tank, and has a really strong moveset - he fits into the team and helps against the Elite Four all the time. He has a Lax nature, and his next goal is Lvl 90 - then it will be Lvl 100.


Xernaes - Lvl 85 - Genderless
Thunderbolt - Megahorn - Horn Leech - Moonblast

The only legendary Blue has, and probably the only legendary he has caught. He only took this pokemon because it was apart of the plot - you couldn't move on until you caught that pokemon. After a few fights with the genderless pokemon, Blue decided this pokemon would be apart of his main team, and it has. Having four different types of moves helps with winning battles, as weak or strong as they might be against other pokemon. The legendary has a Timid nature, and is on his way to Lvl 90 like the other two Lvl 80+ pokemon on the team.

Eventually, Blue will get all his pokemon to Lvl 100, and then his team will be unstoppable.

If you could make one pokemon, what would it be?

The black and blue bean glanced at the audience. His first question - loads of ideas popped into his mind, but he could only choose one? That was unfair? But none the less, he chose one and began to speak. "If I only have to choose one...I would make a dragon-type evolution of Eevee. I mean, I know we have the other eight eeveelutions - but Sylveon was bought to the game alone, unlike all the others, who were in pairs, and the first, in a three." Blue said, blinking his eyes, thinking carefully. "It seems strange they let Sylveon come into the game alone, and I am sure most others expected a dragon type to come along and level it out, but it didn't happen." He added. "So, if I could make one, and only one, pokemon, it would have to be a dragon type eeveelution, no doubt. If that happened I would have to get one and put it in my team."

What are your options on the pokemon types?

"Wow, you mean all 18 pokemon types? Thats a lot to speak about." Blue said, closing his eyes and thinking, getting them all into a list to his favourite, and then to his least favourite, and then he opened his jaws to speak once he thought he made up his mind.
"Well, Fire is one of my favourite types - after all, I am based on a pokemon that has the normal evolution of fire - and I breath fire, like all other jellybean dragons, so of course I have to like it. It is a strong type, and only have a few weaknesses."
"Dragon is next on the list - after all, the mega evolution I am based off has it, and it is such a strong type with hardly any weaknesses, only being weak against fairy and some other types. Pokemon who has this type are often the tanks in pokemon teams."
"Electric. I love this type - reminds me of a hyper mood, which I can have sometimes. And after all, the mascot of pokemon has this type, and most pokemon who have this typing tend to be cute pokemon, so who wouldn't like it?"
"Flying is here on the list - Charizard has the flying typing, and he's pretty cool. If it wasn't for flying pokemon, we couldn't fly around to places we have already been on our pokemon games."
"Fighting is a pretty cool type. I mean, its fairly strong, and all the really cool pokemon seem to have this type. The pokemon who is the best with this typing would have to be Lucario - mine is a tank, and that is why I like Fighting."
"Dark is another good one, as well as Ghost and Fairy - they all tie at this place. I dunno, I guess I just like them. I like how Fairy is actually one of Dragon's weaknesses, how Ghost gets no affect from normal moves, and Dark is just a good typing, I guess - it has some cool moves."
"Steel and Rock are next. All the pokemon who I have seen and have this typing are usually tanks, and have really strong moves or good movesets that can take you out easily, although they aren't too high up on this list."
"Flying, Poison, Ground, and Ice are the next few - They aren't my favourite, and I don't like them too much, but at the same time I don't hate them a lot, they are so-so, depends which pokemon have these types."
"Psychic, Grass, Water, Bug and Normal are at the bottom. I don't like them, just for some reason I don't know - either they have an advantage to some of my pokemon, or they seem too weak with most pokemon."

Do you wish pokemon was real, and not just a game?

"Of course I wish this!" Blue exclaimed, blinking his eyes. "It would be awesome - I would love to go on a pokemon adventure, and catch wild creatures known as pokemon. I would love to get my starter like you do in the games, and be able to have a rival that you have to be better then, otherwise they beat you. I think others would be more outgoing if this game was really, and the world would be much more of a fun, socializing place then it is now - since most tend to sit at home and be lazy. But yeah, I would love if pokemon was real - it would be a dream come true."

Why do you choose not to reveal your age?

"Hmm...I dunno - I guess it just adds to the mystery about me. If I don't tell others, it gets them wondering about how old I am, and if I am too old or not - or if I am immortal - trust me - someone has actually asked me that before, but I am not immortal don't worry." Blue said, grinning. "I just don't like to tell others my age - its fun for me and confusing for them."
