Zippo, but sometimes he refers himself as Z, to deviate from his normal persona, which doesn't have the best reputation.

Zippo, deep down, is like your typical fire-breathing dragon, with a humanoid personality. He's super over-confident, to the point where he's lazy, uninterested, and overall, holds the biggest Taunt drive in known bean history, and he's rather rude to anybody, boasting about his power, and laughing at others for theirs. He even has a gigantic temper issue as well, for if he gets out-taunted, he'll Stomp his feet, spreadspread out his arms as though they were wings, and let loose a an Overheating Heat Wave. However, deep down, when you pass by his rather rude demeanor, he is a kind hearted soul who wants his loved one's to be protected, and will do so at any cost to make sure they're okay.
Long ago, it was a rainy night. It was one of the worst rainstorms ever experienced. Well, by me at least. I was young, small, afraid, lonely. For a recently newborn Charbean, it was hard to survive this cold, harsh rain. I needed warmth. Even though my tail was never lit into a flame, my heart was still developing the strength to handle the flames buried inside me. So I needed to keep it lit, or else I would have faded away. My parents were hunted for their rare fur, and in the outcome, my father used a powerful flame attack, that caused a land slide to happen, and the only one to survive was none other than I; the lone child who was never named, and, lost in history, succumbing to the loneliness.
However, it wasn't long until a kindly old human came to me, seeing me trying to survive and stay warm in the harsh world. He referred to himself as Samuel, and he said he would take me in and care for me. At first, it was hard to trust him; after what happened with my first encounter with humans, I had a very hard time acquiring my trust for Sam. But, I accepted his offer, and he took me into his laboratory home, where I was able to have my own bed, endless, food, and even friends! There was Saur, a young bean who was very wise and down to earth, despite being recently born like I, and Blasty, a boisterous and over-the-top blue bean that believed he could beat anybody. Blasty and Saur fought quite often, but I stood by and tried not to get involved. After losing my folks, I became a bit of a wimp, and Blasty would always call me the OrangeOrange Blur, because I would run at the cry of thunder.
But soon enough, I encountered yet another issue in my life. At first, I didn't think of it as a problem, it actually sounded fun. A young boy, whose name I detest to the point of omitting it from my memory, came to Samuel. I soon learned that Samuel researched beans so that he could discover the relations between Humans and Jellybean Dragons as a profession, and as part of that, he offered children young Beans such as I to create a bond between us and the humans, where we will eventually return to show our progress in his research. Because I became more trusting to others, I went with the young boy on the adventure, but I really wish I had run away sooner. The boy forced me to use my flames to hurt other innocent creatures; including beans. He was mean to me, hardly fed me, and never gave me the love and care I expected from a boy Samuel trusted. But it really hit me inside when it came down to my refusing. The boy hurt me, called me names, and proceeded to put me down. I got angry, so very angry, that it changed me. My fur become red like a volcano, and my eyes glowed a menacing grey. I had become an angry monster, and after burning the boy in revenge, I ran away.
Because of what the boy had done to me, my reputation was replaced with fear, and it had spreadspread like wildfire, and it was almost impossible to make a friend. Others knew me as the Fire Menace, and this resulted in my loneliness coming back, only this time, it moved in with its girlfriend named lady Bad Luck. I hated being lonely, and I hated humans, So I channeled my anger, and I trained, became stronger all on my own. I grew very strong. I didn't need anybody's help. I was a lone bean who could aid himself. I even challenged gangs, even if I couldn't beat them, I still did. Humans and creatures alike, the world soon came to realize my power and name. And it was because of this, that I met one young human. He was different than the other boy. He was kind, and willing to change me for the better, to help my view of humans. That was his challenge; to take me in and prove that I could be tamed.
His name was Red. I knew deep down this boy was different, that his passion for creatures, and his overall passion as well, could be enough to rekindle my flame of trust. He even gave me my own name, a name I could call myself by; Zippo. This was truly heart-warming deep down for me, but I hid that from him to prove I could stay a tough guy. But I still made it difficult for him all the same. I wanted to show him that I could be strong without his help, and I took on everybody I met. This forced Red to try harder. But despite how much he bickered at me, he meant well in the end. Eventually, after fighting more and more foes, I proceeded to change again. My fur returned back to it's original orangeorange, but patches of blue appeared, designs resembling wings appeared on my body, and my flame inside bloomed like our blazing sun. I became even more powerful.
But eventually, Red started to take my training very seriously, because I had calmed down my monstrous anger, and I was able to become less willing to invoke my anger upon others I essentially shrugged the world off my shoulders, in which, this resulted in the summoning of my laziness. Why was I lazy? For a few reasons. One, I wasn't mad anymore, I simply brushed off the dark of my past. Secondly, it was too easy to beat others now; it became boring. And lastly, red started refraining me from combat anyhow, and limiting my flame usage. So really, if I couldn't do what I loved, why should I listen to him? Plus, it was another way to force Red to try harder at his goal. To my surprise, I started noticing that every time I made it harder for him, he returned with more and more determination. I admired this, but of course, I would never show it. He tried using food to motivate me, tried to get me into females, and he even annoyed me for my anger. I just burned him all the same, but only enough so he'd look like a total goof after it, and it never truly damaged him. I'll admit; he forced a soft soft from me.
However, red still had one big trick up his sleeve. He took me to a gorgeous valley, known as CharValley. It had others just like me; Jellybean Dragons who could spit and control fire as though they were a part of us. But in truth; I was afraid. Why was I afraid, you may ask? Well..... I was small. I was only recently becoming an adult, but all the others were giants to me. I tried to hide this by challenging them, but they smoked me like a marshmallow in a chimney. I felt defeated, and unmotivated. Until then, I met.....her. Her name was Charla, the most beautiful jellybean to walk this planet. She had a flame that bloomed in the colour of cherry blossoms, which only shined her beautybeauty. Despite my relative newness, I tried to get her attention, by doing all I could. Even though my failed attempts of toughness came every time I wanted to prove to her, she never showed signs of affection. I was essentially friend-zoned. She cared a lot for me, and she was very, very nice. But I didn't think at this rate would she reveal her hidden love for me. So, I stepped up to the King; a giant Bean that ruled the Valley with an iron fist, but a heart of gold. In the midst of our duel, rain had come, and began to flood the entire valley. I knew I was afraid, but I couldn't, I wouldn't let Red or my Charla succumb to the waves of the growing rivers.
In desperation, I changed again. My fur donned a sleek black covering, with lighter blue patches appearing, and my flames went from hot orangeorange, to a blazing dark blue. It was because of this, I was able to turn the flood into a cloud of steam, and I held onto this fire power for the whole storm. While I was out of power, I protected everybody, and I was even regarded as a hero. I woke up after that, noticing my change, and I realized what it was to represent. I was a being to burn others and challenge all foes. I was a guardian, a protector of the people. But I could not do so stuck in CharValley. I needed to return my reputation to being good, so I could return to Saur, Blasty, and Samuel and show them my progress. So that I could visit Red, and tell him all about my adventures. So that one day, maybe just one day, I could go to Charla, and my bravery and heroism would bring out her true love for me. 
The Official Pokemon Red/Blue/Green/Yellow Final Boss Theme - Champion GreenWe all know it, just from looking at the people posting in this competition, that almost everybody played these game with Charmander as their starter. All that hard work, all of the determination, training, and love for one's Pokemon, this was it. The final bout. The conclusion to the epic saga. You get to destroy your Rival, just as he was relishing in his victory as Kanto's champion; and silently return his "Smell ya later!" comments back at him with an all powerful Fire Blast. This song represents a battle worthy of the almighty Charizard placing his entire power into. Zippo is just that; a veteran who thirsts for battles like this rare gem.
New Divide - Linkin ParkThis song to me, is about the break and fall of relationships. Zippo has been through his hardships where he has lost people close to him, and worse, lost his trust for others. This has caused him in is life to become more of a monster than anything else, which caused the "ashes to fall like snow".
The Catalyst - Linkin ParkYeah I know, more Linkin Park XD this time, it hits more personally. "A Thousand Suns" is an album that grapples with the personal cycle of pride, destruction, and regret. In life, like in dreams, this sequence is not always linear. And, sometimes, true remorse penetrates the devastating cycle. The hope, of course, springs from the notion that the possibility of change is born in our most harrowing moments. The Catalyst is the closing piece to the album, that captures the whole idea as a whole, and focuses it into a persona. This fits Zippo as a whole, with his pride ending up in destruction, forcing him to swallow regret. But, hope returns for him, and no matter how much he may hide it, Zippo is truly grateful for those that care for him.
Black Cat - Mayday ParadeFor Zippo's "Charmander" years, transitioning to his "Charmeleon" years, becoming a black cat of the streets, loved by none and shown as the coming sign of misfortune.
Monster - SkilletSkillet's "Monster" is all for Zippo's "Charmeleon" days. After what happened with the unnamed jerk trainer, Zippo became infuriated with mankind, and his rage caused him to act like a monster, lashing at everybody and digging his reputation's grave deeper.
Fighting - Yellow CardThis song is a dedication to Zippo's early "Charizard" years, where his past was hiding in the dark of his heart, and his future was blind by his lack of care. But as he grows, he realizes what he's fighting for, and not what he's fighting with. This song is a transition for regretting his darkness, to ignoring it, then to accepting it, and finally fixing it.
If Today Was Your Last Day - NickelbackA song for Red and Zippo. Red tried his best to show Zippo what it means to be a kind-hearted and accepting person, but of course, it took time for Zippo to realize and understand what he meant. So nowadays, he lives every moment as if it were his last, by cleaning his reputation, and helping those in need.
The Chosen Ones - Dream EvilThis one is in here for fun, really. While the lyrics are epic, they are more meaningful to the kind of brave, heroic warriors slaying the dragons. Zippo, while a brave and heroic kind of guy (nowadays), he isn't the type to slay his opponents anymore. This is more of just a battle hymn to hype his mood.
To Glory - Two Steps From HellJust like "The Chosen Ones", "To Glory" is a battle song for Zippo's mood. He usually puts this song on his Charpod when he's training and working out.
Doing nothing.
This includes not being able to sleep.
If Zippo has absolutely nothing to do, he gets irritated
and his temper rises to extreme heats.
He also hates waiting for things for too long.
Zippo is also not a fan of the city, as cars get on his nerves oh so terribly.
He doesn't enjoy the night all of the time,
and he hates it more when it rains.
His least favourite food are spicy foods, again, ironic.
First and foremost,
Zippo is a grizzled veteran that lives for the battlefield.
Even when not in any actual fights,
he takes his power to the test with his recent discoverydiscovery in his love for video games.
An early bird and a fast sleeper,
Zippo prefers the day, especially hot summer days.
He's also a big fan in sports,
enjoying the competition in things like Hockey,
Soccer, and the Olympics!
He also really, really likes sweet stuff.

He may not admit it,
but the guy is crazy for ice cream!
