Why it fits him: I always picture what a character would look like in my drawing style before I think about trying. If I like how I see it, I usually try. This time I had a bit of extra help because I was listening to Ignition by Todd Stalter and I could only think of him either in a fiery situation of always in red light. A sunrise scene would cast so many colors on that coat and I envision those eyes would look like fire in the morning.

Why it fits him: I think that Tigernán's name fits him firstly because of his short stature. At the tiny height of 12.1 hands, he is a runt among equids. But his proud stance, dark coat, and mellow eyes tell a different story, one more of pride and lordliness. The quipping pattern on his shoulders remind me of a royal sash draped across his shoulders, like a king or member of a royal court. Finally, the earthy colors of his coat and quipping make me imagine a lordly, proud, and mellow ruler, just like his name suggests.

He is more likely to observe any conflict or challenge and carefully consider it before taking action, but when stoked into liveliness he proves to be firey and more than capable of handling himself. He has a warm personality and attitude to those around him unless given a reason to dislike them, at which point he is capable of searing looks to warn off unwanted company.

Why it fits him: I got to thinking about how to flesh out his personality and that includes his past. I thought to myself, as I was reading through the names, "I can't remember reading about an Equid that lived by the sea." Murtagh was born to a herd that lived by the sea. He grew up on the stony rolling hills covered in wildflowers that grew despite being lashed by the harsh sea-winds. Seeing as his homeland wasn't as lush, he didn't grow as tall as other Equids. He is stoic and of few words, but deeply loyal to his roots and his adopted herd. It is amazing to hear him laugh because he's generally always concerned about something. A habit of his is humming songs under his breath as he goes about his day.

Why it fits him:
I feel like this name suits him very well based on his markings. The faint silver quipping on his dark colored body give them such a nice effect and really add to the equid's design. So based on this I really wanted to find a name that would match well and the meaning of Finnbar since it is 'white' I felt it suited him very well and also sounds nice at the same time.

Why it fits him: I believe that the name Art fits this handsome Silver Dapple Seal Bay WME, because when I first saw him, I thought that he kind of looks like a bear. Even though the meaning of Art was not talking about the mammal, I still pictured it. His design reminds me of something medieval, almost like a stone castle or an old Viking and when I think Viking I think fighter/warrior. And that is why I believe the name Art fits him.
