Newton is, to say the least, very quirky. His sense of humor is just the beginning, which is full of irony and jokes that often have hidden meanings behind them. He is often described as having a very ‘dry sense of humor,’ and most beans his age don’t get his jokes. His comments to some things are very quirky as well. Instead of telling someone that they look nice that day, he will say “You appear particularly fair this day.” He makes an effort to be different and stick out of the crowd. At very least, he is unlike the other beans his age.

When it comes to intellect, Newton is a whiz. Of course, his favorite subject is math, although all subjects intrigue him. He can sometimes be a little bit of a smart Alek, though. Newton doesn’t hide his intelligence, and sometimes he insults others in the process.

Being innovative and thinking outside of the box has always helped Newton in any situation, whether it is meeting new JBDs or coming up with a unique research report. He thinks that if he can be unique, he can succeed. In group projects, he is always the one to make it special, and when making first impressions, he is sure to be remembered.

Newton is very aware of others, and knows that everyone needs help at one time or another. He always tries to be there for the ones who need it the most, and can become very kind hearted at times. Pi Stud
- Custard wears a simple silver pi stud, along with 2 other small circle silver studs. He wears these almost all the time, but he will sometimes take them out.
Pi Tie
- A simple green tie he won at a math contest, he has worn it all the time. It has the numbers of pi on it wrapping around the front and back of the tie. Custard is always seen wearing his tie, he almost never takes it off, except for bathing and sleeping.
Silverware
- Custard always has his handy dandy silver ware on him, in case of a pie emergency. He is always ready for an unexpected meal or surprise dessert. Custard will never be caught off guard, he is ready to eat.
Razz berry charm
- This is the raspberry pi symbol. The raspberry pi is a small computer, built for coding. Custard uses this little computer so much, he loves it to death, so naturally he had to carry a bit of it with him everywhere, so he wears the charm everywhere, all the time.

Mud Pie
- Custard can sometimes be a bit bitter on the outside and tend to scare beans away, but it you take the time to get past his outer layer, you will find a soft gooey lovable bean you will never want to leave. Just like mud pie, if you get past the looks you will find a heavenly chocolate creamy pie.

Personality;

Custard is an all time geek. He is very smart and talented, but is often teased because of this. He lacks in self confidence, but he covers that up by being overly cocky and proud. He may seem like a snarky know it all on the outside, but on the inside, he is sensitive, shy and timid. He has almost a photographic memory and can remember almost anything he, sees, hears, or reads. He can be stubborn, and gets overly excited. He loves to watch 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'Star Trek'. He speaks many foreign languages fluently, is currently working on his masters degree, and is hoping to one day teach math. He is absolutely intrigued by pi and loves to study it in all of his free time. As of now, he has over 300 digits memorized, and is continued to learn more.
Custard, like his name, has a large sweet tooth , and is often snaky on something sugary and sweet. Because he often craving sugar, he always seems to be on a sugar high, he claims that he thinks best when he is like this. He is full of energy and life and always excited. Little things tend to get him worked up, whether it is a little thing, like he drops his ice cream, he can really worked up , and spend hours crying in his room. Also little things can also get him overly happy, such as he found a penny on the street, he will be happy for days. He appreciates the small things in life, and will never take anything for granted. He is also a very kind and gentle bean at heart who would never try and hurt any one or anything ever. He doesn't see the point in useless violence and thinks fights are stupid. He also can be a bit of a show off, even with out meaning to. He loves to share things that he knows, or has learned, and this can often upset other beans, especially since it all comes so easily to him, it can frustrate others how may be struggling. Custard also has been known to go on long rants about facts and knowledge, which some beans may find boring. He is not super at conversations, since he doesn't really relate to most beans, and common talk is hard for him. He is very opinionated and so he can be a little hard to work with at times. One thing Custard loves to do is code. He loves to just code. He often uses his Raspberry pi to code. The raspberry is a small computer that is built for coding. He uses this almost all the time and loves it to death.
Custard is a really kind and sweet bean, you just have to take the time to know him and understand him. If you take the time to do that, you will find your self with a life long friend.

I would name this bean March. I know it may not make a lot of sense but it does to me and I will explain why. I would name her March because this is a Pi day bean and Pi day is on March 14, 3/14. I named her after the month of pi day. I think March is a cute name for this bean and that it will suit her pretty well. If I get her, I am going to make her birthday on Pi day so she can be named after the month that she was born in.


This bean, to me, looks female so that is what she is. She is only attracted to males, making her straight.


March has an infinity scarf that looks like this. She will wear it everywhere. She also has a few feathers on a string attatched to the end of her tail before the fluff. They are the same color as her eyes and when the two feathers are put together and lined up correctly, they make the Pi symbol π. The drawing of her with her scarf and feathers is above. I couldn't get my oekaki to work so I had to improvise so it may look a little sloppy. I did my best but as you can see she has on the scarf and feathers on her tail.


March would most definitely be a French Silk Pie. I chose this flavor of pie because (1) I absolutely love it and (2) I think that the colors of her fur match the colors of the pie, making her the same flavor as the pie.


March is normally a very hyper bean. She loves to run around and play and act twice as young as she actually is. She loves making new friends and meeting new bean and other creatures. Her all time favorite thing is trying to recite all of the numbers of pi. She will sit in a room and say the all of the numbers that she has memorized and then she'll add one more, say it again with the new number and keep doing that for a whole day. When she gets bored and has nothing else to do, thats what she does. Many other beans and animals will say that she's a little insane. She fully agrees with them saying "I don't think I have ever been fully sane." She is pretty funny and has a nice sense of humor. She doesn't get angered or lose her temper easily and she is very forgiving. If one of her friends accidentally hurts her feelings she will go up and give them a hug and say that she forgives them. Even though March doesn't get easily angered and forgives easily, that doesnt mean that she doesn't get hurt. Sometimes after she forgives them, sje will go hide and just act a little depressed but after about 10-20 minutes this faze hpis probably over. She also just likes to give completely random hugs saying "Hugging is a sign of friendship!" She loves to pull her friends along and go exploring, especially through dense forests where she can easily get lost and have to pretend to be a survival expert. She isn't one to focus very well. She will be talking about one thing and then someone else starts talking and that reminds her of something else which makes her think of something else which makes her think of something completely unrelated to the first thing and she just randomly starts talking about it.

the reason for this name is because a famous Egyptian piece of papyrus gives us another ancient estimation for pi. Dated around 1650 BC, the Rhind Papyrus was written by a scribe named Ahmes. Ahmes wrote, "Cut off 1/9 of a diameter and construct a square upon the remainder; this has the same area as the circle". In other words, he implied that pi = 4(8/9)2 = 3.16049, which is also fairly accurate.
