One day when Luce and his owner were taking a ride there was a flyer for a mazd on horseback. He was so excited and his mane was being combed, and braided. When thwy finished the race they found theywere in first place, winning a prize of $500. When they were taking the winning picture Luce startex eating the money in his owners hand and in the newspaper on Monday there was a picture on the front pave of Luce with a mouthful of money.

Personality: he is lively, and loves to gallop, tearing up the earth with his powerful legs, loving the feel of the power of his muscles. He is wild around most people, but he is docile as a lamb with his owner. He loves dogs and racing with them. He actually likes most other animals and playing with them. He can be kind of quirky at times, but he is extremely lovable, and he doesn't scare easily. He is very trustworthy and his friends can be count on him.
History: He was born in a valley, colt of a couple of runaway horses who had joined a wild mustang herd. He grew up in freedom and wildness, untameable and beautiful to behold. Then one day, a girl from one of the nearby ranches, rode out into the valley. She came upon the herd and they ran away, but she caught sight of Cheveyo, though he was nameless at the time. She called to him in the Hopi tongue, "Cheveyo!(Spirit Warrior)." He harkened to her voice; it was like magic to him, and as if in a dream, he turned and came right up to her and followed her home. He stayed with her ever since, racing to glory, but racing for the sheer delight of it. He fathered many swift and spirited race horses, but there was never one like Cheveyo.

Personality: Max, or Nevada Sky, is an energetic and outgoing horse. Sometimes too outgoing. Max can get easily distracted by the little things in life; but when he's shown he has to be serious, then he gets serious. Max loves to jump and it's obvious that when he jumps, he enjoys it a ton. Max does get grumpy in the morning and is hard to work with sometimes, but overall, he's a great horse.
History: Nevada Sky was born in a hardworking, small town ranch in North Dakota. His mother was an infamous show jumper, and his father was a dressage horse. When he was born, everyone automatically assumed he would be as easy to work with as his parents. They quickly found out that he wasn't. Little Max (then named Nokota) was then sold in an auction to an Irish horseman buying horses in the Dakotas. The man took Max back to his big-time farm in Kentucky, where he lives currently. The man had many horses there, almost all Thoroughbreds, but he did not want Max to be a racer. In fact, Max was a gift to his daughter. His daughter trained and raised Max to be Nevada Sky, a prestigious show jumper.

When I first saw him, I did not know if he was real or not. No other horse's coat shone as brightly as his, and I have seen many horses. I knew, that this horse was important, more important than the silly racehorses that my father paid so much for. When I walked up to him, his eyes sparked like a flickering flame. I could tell he would play many tricks on me in the future, and I liked that. Horses with personality like his showed that they would fight for what they believe in. For this, I named him Nevada Sky, because even though the land is dusty and dry, and storms may hover, green mountains and lush forests will rise out of the ground and the sky will be cleared of clouds once again.

Flinnegan was born in Northern Ireland and was bred to work the sheep fields with his rider. When the annual yearling sell came around he was one of the last to go due to the stubbornness he possesses. When he was bought he was bought by the youngest Flinnegan daughter who saw the athletic traits which he possessed. The girl decided that he would be a jumper and occasionally entered into a local race. Now he is seen as the heart and soul of her stables and is often seen trotting through the town.
