I plan to name this jelly bean dragon Antrarian (pronounced Ant-ra-ree-anne). Antrarian sounds like a name that would be used for a beautiful garden in a fantasy world. It just so sounds so inspiring, so beautiful.



In my eyes, I found Antrarian to be a female.



Antrarian represents the "fleur de lis". the flower can come in many different colours and is the symbol that represents the French language. this flower and symbol is beautiful and plays a pretty big part in my culture.



This JBD reminds me of my culture, of the symbol of my people; the French Canadians in Ontario. She also reminds me of the environment I live in and everything. She reminds me of home, basically. I love home. I love the trees, the flowers, the animals, everything - and this JBD is no exception. If you look at the bottom of my form, there is the flag of franco-ontarians. This flag represents the French that live in Ontario, Canada. the fleur de lis is in the green, which the green represents summer and the fleur the French heritage. On the other side, the white represents winter and the trillium is the floral symbol of Ontario. This is why the flower is so important to me as well as the JBD.

Name: I would name him... Chrysanthos. It just sounds so delicate, and it just seems to fit him perfectly. It rolls on the tongue, and there seems to be something magic about the name. I just knew, the moment I saw the name, that it was meant for him. vuv


Means "golden flower" from Greek χρυσος (chrysos) "golden" combined with ανθος (anthos) "flower".


Gender: Well, surely he is a male!

Plant: I could se no other plant in my mind, than the beautiful snowdrop. Actually, the day I posted my form, was the day I saw the first snowdrops sprouting from the cold earth. I was pretty amazed, and very very happy, since the snowdrop is my favorite plant/flower.

Firstly because of his green colour. Then the plant-blade-like markings he has on him, they are like grass blades. The almost transparent circular markings he has on him remind me of dew on grass- and then I just put everything together and came up with the idea of him being wheatgrass based.

W h y ? : Symbolism associated with the huckleberry is faith and simple pleasures.
I see Ryin as a humble bean, and she has great faith in everything. She will believe that the simple
things in life are the best, this is how she relates with the huckleberry. Since her design is also quite
simple, I chose the huckleberry because it symbolises the simple pleasures, meaning that I enjoy her simple design.

Pewter is named for the
fact that for hundreds of years, Europeans believed
that tomatoes were poisonous, often calling them "Poison Apples".
It was later discovered that it wasn't the tomatoes
themselves, but the pewter plates they were eaten
on, as the fruit is naturally acidic, therefore it
absorbed lead from the platters.
That's the origin of Pewter's name, but how does this
apply to the bean himself?
Pewter stands for not judging a book by its cover.
False accusations lead to false information, which
leads to mistrust on both sides. Pewter may seem
cold and uninviting on the outside, one might
even say "poisonous", but when opened up all he
wants to do is get to know others and have
honest relationships.

Why?:
Soft and pleasing to the eye, Dannie and the flower have a lot in common. Dannie is often compared and found to be a simpler bean to most; quite like the frangipani to say perhaps the rose. She cares not to over complicate herself, although just as the flower varies in colour, she came vary herself in moods but also in her little quirks. Her sweet nature is much like the delightful scent of the frangipani; simply divine when the time is taken to enjoy it well. Quite unlike anything else, the frangipani represents Dannie well.
