Alikia leaped from rock to rock, on the mountain. She jumped with ease, and was smiling, jumping higher and higher all the time. She stopped to look down... and she was on top of the world! She was very happy, overjoyed, in fact. She loved heights. They made her feel above everything, and she felt completely free. She reared up on her hind legs, and neighed, happier than ever. She felt a breeze flow through her mane, and heard a bird chirp below. She returned to standing on four legs as the bird flew upward. It was a young male bluebird. It chirped to her as it flew upward, and she neighed in reply. The bird landed on her back, and asked, "What are you? Momma said that you live around here, but I've never seen you." Alikia smiled at the young fledgling. "I am a Wild Mountain Equid. My herd is down below a little ways. But I like to explore, and climb higher up the mountain than most." The bluebird chirped. "That's cool! My name is Splash." Alikia smiled. "That's a nice name. I'm Alikia." She looked at Splash. They spent a great deal of time in the mountains, talking about whatever they chose. Day after day, Alikia would go up to see him, and they would talk and laugh all day long, becoming best friends.

Favorite memory: 'Twas the day she ventured off to see the city. Everyone had told her not to go, told her that it was dangerous with metal monsters and where everything was grey instead of green. But her curiosity got the better of her, and being as stubborn as a mule; she ignored what they said and sneaked of into the night. To her delight, the city wasn't as horrifying as everyone had told her. Bright lights dazzled, sparkling -- laughter rung in the air as she poked her head around a corner. Soon enough Bo found herself near a river, light bouncing of it in countless directions; accenting ripples as she kicked in stones. But having caught the attention of some dog walkers, she fled with glee; her hooves echoing on the streets before soft grass greeted her. Yet, the hills since then have felt unfamiliar; and now she longs to once again visit her city of lights.

Ellie is young and unlike those memory's of older equids, Ellie can still remember things from when she was a very, very, little equid. Ellie's favorite memory is not unusual, but it is meaningful and happened several months before now, she loves to return to this memory in her mind. One cloudy night her herd was settling down for rest before another long day of travel. Ellie had her eyes closed in an attempt to fall asleep, she herd her parents come up to her but she kept her eyes closed. She felt her mother lay beside her and thinking she was asleep, started to sing. Her mother was never really around her, she was always busy with something and it was nice to hear her voice, even to this day her mother does not know she was awake and she intends to keep it that way.
