Image (of the character you would like to adopt):
Name: Achilles Bloodwing “Achilles”
Character Thread: Achilles’ webpage
Breed/Species: Roman War Horse (mixed breeds, possibly majority Arabian?)
Personality: strong sense of loyalty and oppositely revenge, fearless to opposition, regretful towards his wrathful temperament, gentle and respectful of mares, views himself as both a warrior and a protector
Other: I’m just going to put a disclaimer, Achilles personality and background will be slightly influenced by the character Achilles in the Iliad by Homer. However, he’s not going to be a replica, the majority of his personality traits and story line will be created through my own ideas.
Image I drew: Achilles rearing don't stare at it too hard :[ you'll notice the flaws in the anatomy. At least working in a horse barn for two years helped me remember the prominent features of a horse. I mean for it to be colored I just wanted to post this encase I don't make the deadline.
ps - If you're looking for a fuller description :3 it's on his webpage. Bonus points if you notice allusions to Greek Mythology throughout his story. Obviously if I don't succeed in possessing him as a character I'll just trash his webpage.
Edit: a short story has been added to the table I had originally left empty on Achilles' page. I hope that any judging of my entry would have the webpage taken into account since the bulk of my literary entry is posted there. Also, the web host I use for some reason is not recognizing apostrophes and quotation marks... I hope it's just a short bug

Image:

Name: Ramses.
Pronounced: [ram-sis].
Gender: Stallion.
Character Thread: Main Characters.
Breed/Species: Equine; an undistinguished breed.
Personality:
Even as a colt, Ramses always had an eye on Shirsana. He had a puppy crush on her throughout childhood, and he was there for her when, eventually, her mother passed in sickness. He admitted to the filly his dreams of entering the local rainforest himself, but when push came to shove, and Shirsana slipped away during the middle of the night, his thoughts focused primarily on finding and retrieving her, and no longer on his silly dreams of escaping himself. Eventually he matured; and he realized that there was no way to escape the mundane cycles of herd life.
But it was then that everything changed. When he finally found Shirsana, and honestly planned on professing his love to her, he was snatched away by a giant serpent. He has spent years wandering the seemingly endless forest, searching for the mate he half-believes is already dead. Because he was knocked out when he was stolen away, he does not remember the day at all; only waking up with a pounding headache and the itch of snake coils against his skin.
Being separated through all those long months has hardened the stallion, and where there used to be a childish compassion, there is only further obsidian. He is not strictly cruel, but he will not go out of his way to help others; he has a destiny of finding Shirsana and joining her again, as even when destiny took him away, he still feels a undying love for the lost mare. This has impacted his personality as he is quiet, remorseful, and even when he encounters the other herds that roam the rainforest, he stays only long enough to scan for her. His instincts buckle against his actions and will him to just join one, that it cannot be all that bad to stay and settle down with another, pretty mare, but he refuses. Ramses has only ever wanted to do one thing in his life this bad; and it has always been the same goal.
Story:
...
Other: Ramses will be housed in the same post as Shirsana, as they are destined to become mates. <3 And I think they will be lovely mates too. I always imagined him as a blue roan and I love the white lines across his rump and legs. Ramses was abducted from her as a younger stallion and eventually, he will find his way back to her after the predator dragged him deep into the rainforest. It takes him a few years to find Shirsana again, but I can imagine their connection. <3333

Image (of the character you would like to adopt):
Name:Lorana
Character Thread:In the making
Breed/Species:Equine/Possibly an Appie mix
Personality:Lorana may seem fierce but she is actually quite kind and gentle. Her soft heart reaches out to others and her presence almost seems to calm those that she is around. Lorana is rarely angered.
As a filly Lorana was abondoned by her herd because she was a sickly foal. They thought she wouldn't make it through the winter and so they left her. Almost as soon as her herd was out of sight she was found by another herd. A much kinder herd that taught kindness and well being to others. And so she was adopted by a nursing mother and grew up with this new family of hers. She grew stronger each day and learned about the difference of good and bad. She never wanted anyone else to feel as lost and alone as she had and so she left the herd she grew up in to teach others about the goodness of being kind. She taught many other horses and a wide variety of other species about belief and kindness and doing good for others.
(I will probably edit this later and make it better and more up to date)
