about me // :: Hello! I'm resolution, and I've absolutely fallen head over heels
for this adorable baby boy. I'm currently a non-owner, but I truly felt a
connection looking at this bean, and couldn't get it out since. So, thanks
for reading my form, and I hope you enjoy it!

name // :: I'd name this boy Alto; Alto Chiave in full. It's an Italian originated name, literally meaning "high key". I thought it was fitting being as both his mother and himself play instruments, so why not allow them both to have musically themed names. He doesn't really like his name shortened being as it's only four letters, so just call him Alto and he'll be happy.

gender // :: I found that a male would be Alto's ideal gender, not only because that was his pre-chosen gender, but also because his character and design more so fits a male than a female.
age // :: Generally, Alto would be classified as a "child", but I feel that I get a better feel to a character when they have a direct age. I've chosen the age of seven human years; not too young, and not too old

personality // ::

Alto can be described as a bit of a loner. He
actually doesn't mind being outcasted or rejected by the other
young beans around him and has over time learned that if he
uses his mind, he can have just as much fun as he would playing
with other beans. That being said, he's a creative and imaginative
type of jelly-bean dragon who values the artistic side of the world.

One of Alto's biggest dreams is to become as talented as his mother
in playing an instrument, but he knows he has plenty of years
ahead of him before he can even come close to her level. He
does enjoy to draw, paint, and make other unusual crafts though,

showing he does have an uncharacteristically high level of patience for his age. He doesn't mind having to wait for things and can sometimes out wait some adult beans surprisingly.

Alto has always been an independent creature, even since he was a newborn, he
wasn't too interested in playing with his family, although he would if they really, truly
wanted to. He doesn't ask his parents or relatives for much, nor does he complain or cry
of meager problems like a scraped knee or paper cut like most children. He isn't quite
antisocial; he's simply just less dependent on others.

Unfortunately, this little boy harbors a lack in self confidence. Even being as
independent as he is, he really dislikes the though of letting someone, specifically
in his family, down because he isn't good enough. This sense of insecurity may be
what repels him from making friends easily, but he really doesn't care to elaborate
upon the matter, though.

Finally, the last thing to know about Alto's character is that he's extremely
competitive and gets jealous very easily. Although he won't openly protest his
thoughts about the competition, if he's upstaged by another bean, especially one
younger than him, Alto will become irritable and snappy to any contact with
others. If pushed far enough, his mouth grows sharp and insensitive towards that
person. In this way, he's difficult to figure out because this behavior is only
seen when the supervisor is someone of authority over him, such as a teacher,
mentor, or even his parents.

relationship with family / / ::

Viola | Mother
Of all of his relatives, Alto has to say he does favor his mother,
Viola, in particular. He understands her muteness, or at least,
her thinks he understands and does realize that she's doing the
best she can as a shy and reserved dragon. He definitely admires
her ability to play the violin, probably his reasoning for trying his
hardest at playing the bassoon. He holds a high amount of respect
for her in this aspect, meaning also that he listens best to her.

Dunkin | Father
Alto thinks silently that his father's accent is just about the funniest thing, which is why you can find him giggling to himself in a corner whenever Dunkin speaks, even if it's about a very serious matter. He does get along on the preference of donuts, which are his favorite dessert, although they tend to butt heads when it comes to a taste in music.

Amanda Lynn | Aunt
Aunt Amanda's old-fashioned personality is idealistic for little Alto. He appreciates her positive outlook and the fact she just seems like she's living to enjoy life, so whenever she's around, Alto becomes noticeably more social and overall, happier. Her childish sense is able to quite easily make Alto laugh, but it's just about as close as he'll get to playing with beans his age.

Zimiri | Uncle
Alto is sort of indifferent to his uncle Zimiri. He knows that he's truly a big soft-hearted dragon underneath his stubborn shell, but surprisingly, he wouldn't ever utilize that to get something out of him. They get along well enough, they just don't exactly seek each other's company in times of need or for comfort.

Brandon | Uncle
Alto feels that he relates to Uncle Brandon well. Both are on the quiet, reserved side, but both also share the sense of dry humor; sarcasm. He actually does enjoy listening to his uncle's ranting and raving, unlike most, and will sometimes attempt to join in on the debates he has with himself. From his Uncle Brandon's habit of watching anime when Alto is present, he's also managed to hook Alto into enjoying some anime.

Namaqua | Aunt
This baby boy is somewhat indifferent to his Aunt Namaqua. They share a relationship like the one Alto shares with uncle Zimiri; a relationship where love is felt but not focused on as much as it is with, say, Viola and Alto. He does appreciate her helpful nature and positive attitude, and playing with her son is fun!

intstrument // :: Because of his mother's musical talents with a violin, Alto was inspired enough to the point where he wanted to play an instrument of his own. When he was five, he picked out one, lone instrument out of the entire music supply store; the bassoon. For his age, he'd be considered talented, especially being as he started and taught himself to play by ear when he was just five years old. He loves his instrument more than anything and will practice for hours on end if he's in the mood for it.
accessories // :: Alto really isn't much for large accessories like leg warmers and the like, but he does have two he really considers his own good luck charms. The first would be his tail band, and if you look closely on most of his art, it's there. It's a simple grey fleece elastic band with a purple music note stitched onto its side. He received it from his mother for his second birthday and believes that it brings him great luck. The second accessory would be his beanie hat. While I hadn't decided on adding this until later, which is the reason it isn't on most of the art, his Uncle Brandon gave me the idea. It's a simple black with purple stitching around the base, and he only wears it occasionally when he goes to parties or other social events.

of his poor vision.

likes // :: - Small Animals, although he won't admit it.

Drum. There's a good reason behind this name, too. I chose the name Drum for him because drums can make music, taking over his mother's side, and the D comes from his father. It may seem to be a weird name, but that's why I explained!

This bean was made of a male. He was born as one, and is one. There's no stopping that fact!

The age of 7 fitted this marvelous little bean quite well- After all, he's currently the only child. He also has the common voice of one, too; Not too soft, not too squeaky, and not too tough and not too rough. Kind of like an 8-year old, to say at the least. He has a big vocabulary for his age.

p e r s o n a l i t y
Drum is one of those young, hyper beans that constantly run around. Bouncy, boingy, and cheery, and enthusiastic. He says, to new people, "hi, hi, hi!", as the pleasure to meet new people. His favorite thing to do in school is music class. Reading through the music books, playing with the instruments in the room, having fun! It also will sometimes leads him to trouble, however. At home, he likes to play board games, use frying pans and boxes as drums and cymbals, doing his "Drum things". He loves playing with friends, but sometimes he too rough.Drum accidentally runs out into the road for something, or shoves them away from a playground toy, or rarely, an accidental bite or slap. He is a really noisy little bean. Yelling, playing loud music, and so on. Drum can also be quite the daredevil of his family! He loves board games as now, but growing into a teenager, He will be a collector of video games. He will also be growing into a more quiet, smart, yet a little noisy and nosy, naive(young, childish) and trusting bean. Drum has a long relation ship with his family... Here it is.

VIOLA (MOTHER): Drum loves his mommy as he does with daddy. There is not much to say, but she is one of Drum's "heroes." Loving her so much, he won't want to be apart. "He takes up her musical talents..."

DUNKIN(FATHER): His favorite and only daddy, Drum enjoys th bright and pretty fur on his father. He's proud to have a daddy like this, making this donut-colored bean one of his favorite beans of all. "Drum has his father's nice fur splotches.."

NAMAQUA (AUNT #1): One of Drum's favorite aunts, as she has her own mate and little bean. Drum likes to hang around her. He sometimes makes music when he is near his aunt, because he is happy. Sadly, he doesn't think her little bean doesn't like when Drum bangs loudly on frying pans and kitchen materials. "His aunt looks something like a snake..."

AMANDA-LYNN (AUNT #2): Most of Drum's aunts and uncles come from his mother's side. Drum seems to be around this aunt from his mother's side. He feels she is very pretty! "She wears a scarf with musical patterns on her tail, like all of the bean's on his mother's side..."

ZIMRI (UNCLE #1): Drum enjoys his cool items, horns, and EVERYTHING about him. Not much to say, he is Drum's favorite uncle. "He looks jazzy..."

BRANDON (UNCLE #2) Drum think's his second uncle's beanie hat is cool- And kind of cute. Drum also think's this i his "cutest" uncle- Who knows why, but him? "You've got to admit, he is kinda cute, anyways.."

SIBLINGS: Drum has none right no, but he knows there will be more soon. Maybe another brother? A sister? Or even twin beans? He can't wait to see them, if they will ever come. A burst of non-stop enthusiasm will come out of him. "Maybe they will look a little like him, or a little more like his father, or closer to his mother? Both?"
... That makes 2 parents, 3 aunts, 2 uncles and no current siblings.

Drum, do you like waffles?
"No! I hate waffles! they are bad!"
Drum hates waffles. He doesn't like them crunchy, soft, nor butter or syrup. No fun waffles with blueberries or funfetti batter, not even chocolate chips. He will never like them, eat them, or even mention them. Waffles are his enemies. Drum does have a weird connection with the food, as if he and them were in war against eachother.

Hey, Drum! Do you like music?
"Yes! yes!"
He totally does! There would never be a day he wouldn't like it. Classical is one of his favorites, a type of music that has no words or lyrics to the song, and only the peaceful and elegant sounds of violins and cellos. Normal music, and all you can name.....

Drum, I have something to ask. What do you think about food?
"Well uh.. I like, hmn....."
Drum likes to eat a variety of sweets, fruits and vegetables, along with a few insects that make up most of any Jellybean's diet. The only thing he hates is pretty much waffles- but he is pending if coffee is worse than waffles still. He loves to eat apples and bananas- Or Ooples and Banoonoos, Iples and Baninis, or whatever anyone (or that crazy Apple and Banana's song likes to call) says.

Hello, Drum! Who are you like?
"I'm..."
Drum is a light blue bean that is singed with a darker shade, like ashes. He has a "violin" pattern on his back, wit a black strip running al the way down to his tail. all of his paws are darker blue, with black 2 stripes and a swirl above the front paws and 3 on the back without swirl. He has a yellow-cream underbelly, straight from his lower jaw. Yellow-cream "cap" mark on his head. Drum has assorted creamish spots all over his body. Swirl of black jolting from his eyes. 2 Black ear stripes, black "capped" ears. black olive shape on snout, with a skinny crescent-like marking above it. Cream claws. His eyes are purple, due to both parents. "Forked" Tounge matches eye color.

Drum, are you alive?
"I'm not alive!"
He is. He just tells people he is not for no apparent reason, perhaps of his silly personality traits?

"Okay!"
He has normal ears, like his father, but they flop over a lot. They especially flop when he jumps. The fur on them feel very soft.

This colorful bean will grow up with horns, in a result that both his mother and father have them. But what pair will he get? We won't know until he becomes a adult. I believe he will get his mother's horns- Curved horns. They may, or may not, Might show father's horn colors.

-He knows about most of all instruments, types, and names.
-He doesn't like giving up.
-He does indeed likes to wear his glasses, no matter what people want to call him for wearing them.
-The waffle sits on the very top of his dislikes list. And the middle, and the end.
-He knows how to make both a maraca and a drum in one- make a hole through the middle of a few Lucky Charm boxes, but only a few, with only one with a single hole and only the middle. Then he pours rice into them. Drum covers the hole at the top of the glued box, an he can either shake it or smack it to make noise.
-He doesn't think dragons exist, other than the Jellybean specimen.

Drum knows he has a long future ahead of him. He knows he will get horns, an advanced personality, great adventures to go on, great people to meet, new food to eat, and maybe the pleasure of traveling the world when he grows up. Drum knows that he wants to be a musician, so does everyone in his family.

w h y - I - w a n t - h i m ?
I want this bean a lot. It would mean so much to me. To love him, to be over the moon with him. I've probably fallen head-over-heels with this 1 bean, That I wouldn't know how to act if I won. Yet, I get my hopes high, I can't get them down. This is my most current dream bean, and one of the only contests open (There is a few open, but I can't stand them.) So I tried for this one- I've been planning my form and thinking up things that describe him. I even already have plans for him as a teenager. There would be thousands of words I could write in here.. But I can't put my fingers on them, so thank you so much for letting me try out for this bean.... Dream beans don't just jump out of my thoughts on their own, they jump out after a winner is announced. When I check back to see the winner, my heart starts bating quite fast. Because my computer wont do anything, I couldn't make a fancier form. Will I be over the moon with this bean? He will be drawn traditionally on paper until I ever get my oekaki back.
