Story Why she dislikes VDay:

Violet was a very cheery yet shy foal, but something happened to her one Valentine's Day that would change that forever. This particular day, Violet had brought a special valentine for her pony-crush. He was liked among all the foals, and everyone thought he was cute, especially Violet. So, She decided to bring a basket of heart shaped cookies, and some carrots, because those were his favourite. And, Violet being the youngest pony there, the others would always refer to her as 'the small, shy, little mommy's girl'. As Violet approached him, the other foals started to ask who that was for. "Is that for your mommy, Violet?" They would sneer. "Does little mommy's girl have a crush?" But that day she was feeling confident, so she just walked up to her pony-crush with her head held high.

Violet blushed slightly as she handed her pony-crush the basket full of goodies. He didn't bother taking the basket, but instead, started to laugh.
Violet's shy smile grew into an embarrassed frown as all the foals' laughed at her. "Is that for me, Violet? Haha, looks like little mommy's girl has a crush on me! Ha!" Her pony-crush laughed. "Mommy's girl! Mommy's girl!" the foals' chanted as Violet backed away. She dropped the basket of goodies, and they scattered around with a thud. Tears started to stream down the young filly's face. "You're way too cheery!" They started to say. "You're too happy! You're too shy! You wear too bright colours! You're not liked! You're stupid, dumb, ugly, fat!" They continued, growing more violent with their chanting.

Violet turned and ran, crying. She ran to where no one would find her.
The next day, Violet returned, but this time not with a smile, as usual. She returned with black hoof-polish, a spiked black necklace, and wearing everything black. She thought that would show them not to bully her, but it continued. So, Violet was no longer the happy, cheery filly anymore. She continued to wear black, and started feeling quite lonely and sad. So, she nicknamed herself Spider, or Spiderweb. That seemed more fitting to her. She has never forgotten what those foals did to her. To this day, Violet's past still haunts her.
