POSTING RULES
Posting here in this thread is simple. You can talk about anything related to the SIM, whether it's breeding, selling a horse, breeding, or simply admiring a player's horses. Just keep anything not related to the SIM in private messages.
HOLD UP! So we can post about anything, as long as it relates to something in the SIM? Yes, that's how it works.
If you spam or are rude, the head mod and I keep record of who has strikes. Three strikes, depending on the severity, will get you banned from the SIM. Be generous, please, and treat others how you want to be treated.

BOARDING & 'POINTS' BREAKDOWN
Please read the whole front page before posting this, thanks. When you first start out at SAEC, you are given five stalls for your horses. Each horse, no matter it's age, takes up a stall. If need be, stalls can be bought with credits. To add an extra stall, it costs 5 credits. While that may seem wiser at the time, it is much simpler to save up for a barn of your own, which houses 30 horses at a time, for 50 credits. Stalls can be added to barns as well. All staff have a barn with unlimited stalls.
HOLD UP! How many horses can I board at one time? As many as you can fit, just don't go to crazy at once. You can board one two new horses per real-life week.
Each horse starts out with 40 points that you allocate however you'd like within the skill regions: agility, strength, speed, dressage, stamina, jumping, and beauty. Each competition is specialized in different skill regions, so make sure to read up on showing before allocating your points to your horse.
HOLD UP! in order to board your horse, you are required to have a digital image of them. No stock photos from deviantart, flickr, etc. It can be made in Oekaki or other art programs. If you want to use a stock photo, an artist, or myself can transfer the design to lines.
To make this much simpler, I'm going to break the form down.
Owner, Gender, Breed, Image- This should be simple. (If your horse is not natural, find a breed it looks similar to.)
Show Name- Here is where you place your horse's show name, or the long, fancy name used in competitions.
Barn Name- This is where you can place nicknames for your horses.
Height- Can be anywhere from 6hh to 20hh, but 6hh is a very tiny horse. if you are unfamiliar with horse height charts, make sure to google this.
Skill Regions- Read down in showing for further explanation.
Breeding Status- Is your horse open for breeding? Is it free to breed with your horse? Do you charge credits to breed with your horse? Be specific.
Bloodline- Unless your horse is born inside SAEC from two horses, this must read Stock lines.
Competitions- You list what kinds of competitions you will enter your horses in automatically every two weeks.

BREEDING & FOALS
Breeding is available here at SAEC. You can breed two of your own horses for free (opposite genders), pay someone to breed one of their horses to yours, or pay someone to breed two of their horses and you receive the foal. Permissions are required. The price depends on the player. You are to private message me with proof of permission (if required), and let whichever artist you want to make the foal know who the parents are. You can pay 2x the player's charged price for a twin (identical or fraternal). A mare may be bred once per real-life month.
HOLD UP! Do you breed all year round, or are there specific breeding seasons? Breeding is all year round. As soon as an artist is done designing your foals, the mare's gestation period is over.
Steps for A Successful Breeding
1. Find a stallion or mare who are at least three years old that you wish to breed your horse with.
2. Pm owner of the horse(if needed), and if they accept, skip on to step three. if not, repeat step one.
3. Pm any of our artists with a quote from the other breeding confirming the action and wait for a reply(or you can both post on this thread). You need to find an artist that does not own either of the horses that are breeding. The foals can not be made by an artist who owns either or both of the horses. .
4. Decide who will own the foal (as the artist can choose to create twins or not).
5. Name the foal and well done, one nice foal!
MARES WHO COMPETE AND ARE BRED
If you breed one of your mares once in any week of the month, she cannot compete until the next real-life month.
TERMS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Stallion- a male horse who is ungelded.
Gelding- a male horse who is unable to breed.
Colt- a young male horse who is unable to breed.
Mare- a female horse.
Filly- a young female horse who is unable to breed.
Yearling- a young horse that is a year old. are usually clumsy and their bodies aren't fully developed.
