Ainsley lost faith in love a long time ago, and has pretty much just sworn off romance for good. She despises any stallion she isn't biologically related to and avoids them like the plague. However with her deep seeded hatred for stallions, (And the occasional small child.) she gets along fine with everyone else. In fact she has some very good mare friends and is quite popular with some of the people around the ranch. Just as soon as she crosses paths with a stallion though, then she's aggressive, moody, and snappy. To say the very least, Ainsley's love life hasn't been the greatest, and through it all she's become a victim of Philophobia. The fear of being in love.

Why Is She So Angry?

It's almost Valentine's Day! Why ISN'T Ainsley angry?! It's the time of year that celebrates the one thing she hates and fears the most; romance. Oh how she wishes she could be allowed to stay locked in her stall and wait out the suffocating storm of cupid's arrows, roses, and hearts, but alas it doesn't seem like she'll get her wish. Some of the younger stable hands already managed to back her into a corner and tie a red ribbon into her tail. It makes her sick. Not to mention that it seems she's caught the attention of one of the stallions in her stable block, and Solar Flare is doing everything to try to impress her. Making quite a fool of himself in the process too. She almost feels sorry for the poor guy.

Annie is a stubborn mare with attributes that make most people hate her. Very few give her the time of day, simply because of her attitude. She bites and kicks and it seems for no reason but to Annie she can't completely trust anybody and that's her reminder to them. To those she does care for she is fiercely protective. Is she trust you enough to be around her, she won't let anyone near you, human or horse. She'll do anything for anyone as long as you can get on her safely. Overall she's just a moody angry mare. She also sees herself as a lead mare and doesn't like other mares in the slightest. She doesn't quite like stallions either but really picks on other mares.
Why is she so angry? Well she was once abused, and neglected. When she was a foal she had a temper but loved everyone, and trusted too easily. Now she is determined to not let anybody take advantage of her so she decided to take advantage of them. She hates male humans, refuses to be around them. Somehow it is believed that sometime before she left the farm she was born on a more cruel trainer tried to force her into doing what they asked and if the didn't they beat her. She has a huge fear of crops and things of the sort.
