Why the costume? As you may guess, Francisco did not ask to be put into such a costume - no, no. You see, his owner is a young and enthusiastic little girl. There is a Valentine's Day parade on Saturday the 15th, and she was simply ecstatic to enter Francisco in it! She spent hours, possibly days, on a special costume for him. When she finished, she bombarded her pretty little stallion with it - within moments, before he knew what has hit him, Francisco was dressed in a cute little costume! Yet, by the time she got the wings on, this intolerant stallion began to start to resist. So now, the little girl is a bit disappointed, and he wears the part of his costume.

Why the costume? Ridge has always been the type of stallion to pick fights..unfortunately. Ever since he reached adulthood, he has had a 'slight' temper. Knowing that Valentines was soon approaching, the stable he is homed at thought it would be nice to make him appear more friendly with a Valentine twist.

On the main thread I stated my terms of judgment in three points. If there were wips, someone had already won a horse, or the forms didn't follow directions it was over looked.
There was an example of each of those, coincidentally, on this horse's thread.
There will be a similar, more thoroughly planned valentines grumpies next year. And I've an idea for some nifty st Patrick's day adopts too.
