Hey there guys, just thought I'd post a little something for Valentine's Day!

Here are the details for the horses below:

Markings: Heart-shaped star, three coronets and a half pastern
Genetics: E/e, A/a and Rn/rn
Personality: Archangel is a a bit of a loner who prefers to be kept on his own. Archangel excels in halter showing but can be a bit of a devil in ridden competitions.
History: Archangel was bred for show jumping but showed a significant lack of the necessary ability and grace required to excellent in the sport. His owners tried to keep him as a pleasure horse but found him to be to much to handle. Archangel was sold to an experienced western horseman who retrained Archangel completely, teaching him to rein, herd, and rope. Archangel proved to be a valuable asset to the ranch with his calm demeanour and willingness to work. After winning (and losing) at rodeos for a few years, someone made an offer on Archangel that couldn't be reused. Archangel had been bought for a young man to help him learn how to compete in the rodeo, but the young man couldn't handle the strong willed stallion and the parents deemed him unsafe and sent him here to cottonwood.

Personality: A valentine superstar, Cloud is very loving but can play hard to get, at least when it comes to bringing her in from the field!
History: Short and sweet, this mare's history is. No tragic happenings, no horrid back story. She was born and bred in a stables and needs a new home! Not every history has to be terrible c;

Show Name: Serenity Comes On White Wings
Barn Name: Dove
Age: Seven
Personality: Dove is a calm and serene mare. She believes in patience and kindness. This girl is an enjoyable horse and very social. Dove is very faithful and would never tell a lie. She is rather unforgettable, and has a lingering touch to people and horses around her. She is a wonderful friend, and would rather die for someone then live a coward. Dove comes on as very quiet and shy mare, but once you get to know her she becomes much more fun and loving. This mare is very lenient, and dislikes being punished or dealing punishments. She has a very hard time dealing with rudeness, and sometimes finds it hard to keep her cool. You may find that this mare is overprotective, and may sometimes scare people away with how fiercely she protects her friends. But all in all, she is amazing and the best Valentine you may ever have!
History: This is going to be somewhat sweet and simple, if you will.
Dove was born a lovely and kind filly - if you must know, when she was younger she believed in "cooties." In fact, in her earliest years, this gal was afraid of colts! As she matured, Dove was trained for dressage and warmed up to the opposite sex. This mare was entered in many competitions, and was sold by her variable owner when she finally lost one competition. Her owner happened to be an extreme perfectionist, and refuses to let any horse lost.
In short, Dove was auctioned off for LOTS of money when she was four. The mare was entered and worked in many competitions by a harsh, abusive owner, and hardly interacted with other horses or got exercise besides shows. When Dove was nearly seven, she was taken into custody after some people stormed the ranch she had been sold to, which the owner was charged with hoarding and abusing horses.
That was how she came here. Dove has learned to love what she has, and keep it close to her. She wants to leave a mark, and never wants to be left and not ask for more. Dove knows what she has - and protects it with ferocity.
Other: I love surprises! Gift-giving is so much fun. I love the markings as well, and how they resemble things associated with Valentine's Day! So cute!

Personality: This mare is very social. She's turned out with others, rides better with others, and trailers best with a few others. She's liked by many, especially stallions, geldings, and colts, which nowmis something she realizes and uses to her advantage. She likes to experiment with the way she treats them and finds it fascinating how they react whether she nibbles at their face or runs her teeth through a mane. She is rather clueless when it comes to topics pertaining herself, which is why she took as long as she did to realize her looks were really that powerful.
History: Rena was born in August, the 28th none the less. She wasn't always as lovey-covey as she seems now, being born on one of the farthest days from Valentine's Day. But, by the time she had begun her western reining training when she was three, she began to notice something. Whenever she would enter the arena, turquoise accented tack laden on her back and face, any stallion, gelding or colt within a half-mile radius lost their cool and whinnied insatianably. It had always puzzled her, but when she was five, she began to put things together.
Clueless as Rena was, she never even noticed that a male horse standing next to her on the trailer would be very awkward towards conversing with her. In the turn-out, conversations over the fence would become stiff and strange. On Valentine's day; that was the day Rena finally understood everything that had happened for the past two years. She would watch the humans give each other lovely gifts, and pretty soon, she began waking up with a flower or even once, a flake of hay next to her. It was then she understood that she had looks on her side, and she could use them.
Now, at Cottonwood, she's a successful reining horse, and still making stallions drop with every look she casts at them. She's grown used to the dirty looks she recieves from other mares, and the defensiveness from stallions when she's taken from the field, but overall, she couldn't be a happier, more beautiful mare.
Other: This is such a cute idea! I had a hard time choosing between the mare and stallion though.

Caron is in a word a sweet horse. He would never intentionally hurt a thing and is always considerate of those around him. He is very honorable and would never go back on his word. He values trust, loyalty and kindness above all else and dislikes when others are rude, unfair or unkind. Though he is a very gentle natured horse he is not a push over. He will stick to what he says he will do and he will do no more or less. He can be stubborn, but in a likable way and is very humorous at time. Though not often if he is angered he can have some well thought out choice words to say, but easily forgives if he believes the apology is sincere.

History:

Caron was born late in the evening of a th February night. The sky was clear and the dark sky still held hints of color on the horizon from the long gone sun and pale stars were beginning to emerge. From that moment he knew of love. His mother was a beautiful buckskin roan that was the cherished mare of the stable owner's daughter. His father was a handsome minimal bay frame over stallion that was champion at many shows. Caron grew up under the watchful eyes of his parents, learning from them and becoming the bright kind boy he is today. The daughter adored him and loved how he got his father's base color and the roaming from his mother. She would spend hours with him; watching, playing, training. As he grew the girl moved from riding his mother to him and they became a team. She started competing with Caron and found that like his father he was naturally very good at it [though they still had a good share of losses]. Caron enjoyed competing with the girl, bout what he liked most was being out in the pasture with his parents and the other horses. He secretly has a crush on one of the mares, but has yet to gain enough courage to tell her.
