Why: Why? Why? Why it's a mystery box! Who wouldn't want a mystery box? It's both a mystery and a box... It could be anything! (I keep thinking of family guy... "We didn't take the boat. We took the mystery box. HOP IN!" XD)

Story:
The sun was barely peaking over the horizion. It's first bright rays casted an orange glow over the snow.

Calvin shivered as he stepped out into the cold air. Why does it have to be so cold? On Valentines day too... He had special plans for his date with Nadine, but he had to make sure all of the horses were taken care of and given their special valentines day treats.

The barn was warm, and the horses nickered at the famililar face of Nadine. She hummed a merry tune as she went into the feed store to begin her morning rounds. As she exited the room she was met by Calvin.

"Good morning Nadi." He grinned brightly, and grabbed two of the feed buckets. "So I was think-"

"SHH!" Nadine looked down the aisle. "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

-tap...tap...tap-

"What is that?" Nadine followed the sound.

The tapping had stopped by the time the two had reached the end of the aisle. Looking around neither of them could find a clear source of where the noises had come from. They turned to go back down the aisle when a loud scrapping noise came from the nearest stall.

"What the heck?!" Calvin jumped a foot in the air by the sudden sound.

Nadine calmly looked into the stall. "There's a giant box in here..."

"What?" Calvin looked in as well. "How the heck did that get in here?"

As if on que the box shifted making the scraping noise once more...

What do you think is in the box: I think that I beautiful little filly is in the box. Maybe a red roan or a blood bay to go with valentine colors.
What you want to be in the box: I think a Red roan mule with paint markings that make up cupids and or hearts would be what I would want in the box. As well as a heart in place of a star.

Why: Why would I want a mystery box? Well it is a mystery box. I love dramatic openings and suspense. Keeps my on my toes, or in this case at the edge of my chair staring hard at the screen... waiting...
Story: A young lady entered the stables one night, she was checking on her horses. She never really cared about Valentine's day. Of course that was because no one loved her, except her horses. She leaned against the door to a stall and sighed. Just then she heard a muffled nicker. Confused the lady peered into the stall. There was a box in the stall. What was it? She walked over to the box and slowly lifted open the top. And there stood a little foal! Who it was from, she would never know. But she had the comfort of knowing that she was loved by someone.

What do you think is in the box: Maybe a pretty little buckskin or roan mule or zorse with some sort of costume or theme of Valentines Day
What you want to be in the box: Just a gorgeous little filly that I can give all my love to.

Why: Why? Why, hmm? Why, you ask? Well, why not? That is the question, my dear friend. Seriously, who wouldn't want something like this? A mysterious box that shows up one day, all big and wrapped beautifully, waiting for you? I know I do.
Story: The beautiful young lady shook out her red hair as she was stood at the window of her office in her stables. She gave a low little sigh as she stood a moment longer, then stepped away again. She ran a hand through her locks as she thought of love and how quickly it had passed her by. She was just beginning to dwell on the past, when she heard a whinny, it was soft and sounded...muffled? The young one tilted her head, and sure enough there it came again. She shook her head a little bit and went down to the stalls. The gelding Major snorted and stomped a hoof, there appeared to be a box near his stall. She lifted off the lid, and there was the prettiest, most precious foal. The lady quickly scooped her up and cradled her in gentle and warm arms, then set her back down and encouraged her to take her first wobbly steps, Major lightly nudging her every so often. That's when she saw the note. She picked it up, it read "To my lady, with love..." She gasped, and thought one name. It was a Valentines miracle, and she felt love flowing in that moment.

Why: Because I think that it would be fun to try and win her and because I think that she will be something special and I would like to try and see if I can be the proud owner of such a foal.

Story: It was the night before Valentine’s Day and the sky was dark with clouds. The rain had finally come after a long period of drought. It had started lightly, but now it was raining fairly heavily quenching the dry earth of its thirst. Cat looked out the window towards the barn watching the rain through the light that came from the barns window. “What’s taking Jayson so long, Ma?” she asked tearing her gaze away momentarily. She watched her mother shake her head shrugging. Sighing she returned her eyes to the window. After a few more moments of what seemed to be endless silence she pushed back her chair and stood up. “Well I am gonna find out” Cat stated and headed to the door.

The rain was soft but cold and by the time Cat had reached the barn door she was dripping wet. Pushing open the door she shook her head to rid herself of the water, much like a dog would do, and blinked into the light. “Jayson?” she called quietly. Hearing no reply she walked in further. “Jayson where are you?” she said louder with slight irritation. “Its not like this place is that big…” Some of the horses poked their heads out of the stalls and nickered slightly but movement at the end of the walkway caught her attention. Cat strode down the rest of the way and stopped next to a tall dark haired boy who was watching a nicely wrapped box. “Jayson couldn’t you hear me I-“ she started and he shushed her. Glaring slightly she jumped suddenly when the boxed moved. “What is it?” she asked Jayson. “I don’t know. I just found it here. We will have to open it and see” he said quietly. Cat watched the box curiously, but neither of them made a move to open it yet. I wonder what’s inside.

Story: (How you find the box at your stables) a handsome young man snuck into the stables in the morning a very carefully set down this beautiful box in shadow59 horses, moonbeam's stable. when shadow59 arrived in the morning to feed her horse moonbeam she notices a wriggling box in the corner of the stable. she cautiously walks over mumbling to moonbeam "what ever could it be". shadow59 carefully lifted off the lid and their lay a little wriggling striped foal. a bundle of joy in a beautiful box. shadow59 gently lifted the foal out of the box, careful not to hurt it. as soon as she set it down, the little striped foal tried to get up to move closer to moonbeam. moonbeam stepped forward and the foal seemed to relax in her presence.
