Yuka loves all bugs, though he especially loves spiders!
Not the icky poisonous ones though (he's eaten one or
two before) just the little ones he finds running around
the corners of his house, like perhaps a Daddy Long legs
spider, in which he keeps a jar of in his pouch at all times.

Well, there are many reasons for his enjoyment of eating
spiders, the first being how they feel so funny on his tongue,
what with the little hairs some have and the eight long or
short legs they use to scuttle around scaring people. Plus,
the danger other beans warn him of and screams that comes
from them has never really bothered Yuka, as he knows
(thinks he knows) which spiders are 'nice' and which are 'mean',
as he's filled his room with little jars of different kinds,
classified by looks, though the Daddy Long Legs jar stays
in his pouch. He also enjoys watching them scurry around on
his paw when he takes them out, poking and prodding them every
once in awhile with his other paw. The first time he ate a spider
however, he swallowed it whole and nearly threw it back up as
it irritated him, crawling around in his stomach and throat.

Orchid Mantis
why;;
Chrysanthemum likes the orchid mantis for many reasons, the orchid mantis resembles a flower and her name {Chrysanthemum} is also a flower. Her mom used to tell her since the Orchid Mantis was such a pretty bug she would grow up to be a pretty girl if she ate one and now it just became a habit. She also loves the idea of eating flowers and they are the closets she can get insect wise. They also taste sweet and have a nice texture.

The Dragonfly
Why?: Wysteria loves dragonflies because she just thinks that their wings sound so calmong and musical, and they are very graceful as they fly through the air from tall tree to stump. She also adors the colours that they come in. It makes their flavors really pop. She loves the difficulty catching them, since they're so graceful, and she also adprs their wings, which she has made into a beautiful mosaic of the little lagoon that she calls home.

"what do you want?" the cocky girl spits. she
stares up at me, an almost hopeful expression on her
face. she quickly smothers it as i look at her oddly.
"i think this caretaker wants to see your room, june."
an older bean says briskly. "you know they have to
be checked on once a month." the small bean,
june, glances around, her startling green eyes
suddenly filled to the brim with worry. i cock my head,
unsure why the little child is so sad. as if on
cue from the older bean, she ducks her head and
hurries toward a long corridor. "she'll only be a
couple minutes." the other bean looks over at
me again, casually. "a bit of an oddity. her room
is just so - so - pale." sure enough, moments later
the lavender bean peeks out of the doorway to
her room. "come in already." she mutters. i
take a step into the bland white room, surveying
my surroundings. the other bean was right -
no posters dot the room with color, no toys
are scattered across the floor. june leans
against a closet door. "so, what is it you need
to ask me this time?" she asks. the question
catches me off guard. "uh, um, your name?"
the small bean snickers. "june. like that month
thing." "ah yes, yes, of course. so um, are you a girl
or boy?" june sidesteps away with a disgusted look
on her face. "what do you think?" she finally
replies. i don't have an answer for that one, so i move
on. "so, um, what's your favorite, like, insect? to eat?"
the bean stares at me. she falters, then simply says,
"butterflies. i guess." she presses harder against the
closet door, and i think i can hear something behind
it. "hey, let me see that." i try to sound demanding.
june looks up and slowly walks out of the way, not
meeting my eyes. i fling open the door, and the
air is suddenly filled with - wait - butterflies?
i try to sound casual. "is this some sort of
food stock, here?" "uh, no?" the bean stutters.
"i sort of ... don't like eating bugs. just
saving them. um, actually, nevermind ...
shouldn't have said that ..." her voice
trails off. I smile and pick her up, and she wriggles
around for a second, confused, then gives in.
"it's alright." i whisper, and it is.

so, yes, june actually loves butterflies, not to eat though,
and simply pretends she likes to eat bugs because she wants
to finally be like other young beans.

MOSQUITO!
why;; well, ekuri is a odd little guy. he has the weirdest
hobbies for a kid his age, the weirdest being mosquito farming.
now, you get absolutely nothing out of it, but he somehow
enjoys every second of it. anyways, he just simply loves the
mosquitoes. ekuri is fascinated by the way the females drink
blood and how they are actually related to flies! they are just
so unique and special. too bad no one likes his hobby.

why;; This comes from a little story. In the winter, the bugs would crawl into the building, especially in the gym. One day, Justin
took a dare from some friends and ate one during recess. He discovered that they had a tangy taste and he liked them, so he went beyond the dare and set out to find more to snack on.

Why;; Kaymin enjoys eating Ticks because he loves how they pop when he bites them and the salty, coppery taste they have from feeding on so much blood. Despite their taste ticks are known to carry many diseases and although eating them has resulted in Kaymin getting sick quite a few times, he continues to snack on them anyway. Sometimes, other beans hire this boy as a pest control service when they have a tick problem that they wish to get rid of, Kaymin greatly enjoys this and is always happy to get paid for eating his favorite snack.
