The European Pennyroyal is a species of plant that, when crushed, smells like spearmint. What a wonderful smell! It's most often used in aromatherapy and as a calming, herbal tea~ But be careful! The oil of this little plant is toxic - deadly, even!

Favorite thing about the month of February?
Penny usually considers herself a pretty fair bean. In a general way she's kind enough, friendly enough, considerate enough; probably no more than any other bean, to be completely honest. But on one day of the year - February 17th, to be exact - she loses all sense of reservation and frantically begins searching out those in need as though helping another was more precious to her than air. Why? Well, that particular day of the year happens to be Random Acts of Kindness Day, in which total strangers go out into the world and offer their aid to other complete and total strangers. While just about any act of kindness will do, Penny likes to see this holiday as a way to challenge herself and progressively do more than she did in previous years.
There is a story behind her deep passion for doing charitable things: she used to be an incredibly selfish bean when she was young, lashing out violently whenever it seemed someone was out to take her stuff or bother her things. Soon enough she realized that, while she had plenty of things to herself, she was also completely alone. Big changes needed to be made to her personality if she didn't want to be an outcast for the rest of her life. It began with little things, like sharing her toys, but eventually escalated to her giving away those same toys because it seemed another bean was having more fun with them than she would have. She grew to love seeing that happy look on others' faces, because it meant she had done the right thing and, possibly, made a new friend. Making the leap from helping those around her to helping those wordwide on this special day wasn't too difficult, as though she might not be able to see the faces of those she's helping, she knows deep down she's made a difference in their lives.
Favorite flavor?
Uhm - well, you see... Penny just can't control herself around spicy foods! She almost always regrets eating so much of it, but blimey, if that burn doesn't feel so good! The way that warmth spreads from the tip of her tongue to the very fibres of her coat, right down to the watery eyes and the drippy nose - she loves it all, and cannot get enough. She keeps a small bag of pepper flakes in her pouch for those moments when she needs a fiery fix <3

Contrary to the obvious minty/spearmint orientation my first though was Tea Leaves, so what better name then to call him Sinensis which is the latter half of the genius name of the common tea plant. However he insists, particularly to younger beans, he be called Tea Leaf.

Favorite thing about the month of February:

The start of February is pretty much a latent time for Sinensis, apart from Valentines day which is a time he devotes to others offering concoctions of sweet smelling herbal bags and consoling broken hearted beans. He's a herbalist by nature healing with soft words and natural remedies.
But it's not why he loves February.
Where he lives it signals the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn so naturally towards the end of the normally lethargic month he prepares himself for the last harvest till Winter. And by Harvest I mean a mad rush of flying talons deftly and intricately picking his small plantation of Tea plants. He often enlists enthusiastic beans to help care and tender his beloved orchid during this time, which means he educates many about Tea and it's properties which obviously is his passion. February, while not initially important during it's early stages becomes invaluable later in the month, his tea picking frenzy has become so monstrous and concentrated it's become a localized festival with younger beans from the Jam clamming to join in on the fun. At which time his pouch is filled to the brim with fresh tea leaves and buds, he hands them out, makes tea, holds contests to create the best ingenious infusion, and generally causes a Tea riot.
Yes February is defiantly an important time.

Funny enough his favorite flavor isn't tea as many speculate, or even infusions. Nor is it actually mint which seems to scent his fur 24/7. No Sinensis's most adored flavor in all of eternity is Cherries! Especially as it out turns out cheery liquor. He loves the sweetness with just that touch of sour to balance out flavors.

Leap day is not only Lore's favourite day of February, its his favourite of the year. No, its not his birthday, he just finds it so interesting that once every four years, on the same day, there is an extra day of the year. This day is so important to him that he celebrates it far more outgoing than his birthday. On the other three years of the four that don't have the Leap Day, he celebrates it on the 1st of March, which often confuses him of what day it is.

Lore not only loves salted caramel flavour, but he also like the look of it on his coat(mainly salted caramel icecream), yes you read right, his coat. No one knows why Lore loves this flavour, not even he himself knows. But we all know who much he loves this flavour, since he is known to carry around a large bottle of salt caramel flavour to pour on his meals or drinks he has throughout the day! Lore absolutely adores the colour of the light brown salted caramel flavour on his coat, since he thinks it goes exceptionally well with his green colours. it just complements them both ever so well.

Frisk has always loved everything about Valentine's day- the chocolate, the couples, all of the happiness, and just the overwhelming amount of romance. He's always loved all of the loving, if that's possible. However, Frisk has been rejected by every single female bean that he's approached, because he's not exactly the most social or liked guy around. Despite this, Frisk still awaits every Valentine's day with a little confidence that he'll finally find someone.

what she loves about February ;; The chance of the start of Spring of course! Emmy hates the cold,
and can be found snuggled up in her blanket during the winter-time. Another reason is because she absolutely
