Short story about why he always wears his bow tie:

When Chris was in the first grade, he had a huge crush in the prettiest puffball in school. She was beautiful, and Chris really liked her but was way too shy to talk to her. On the last day of first grade, at their first grade gradation, hi mom got him all dress up, and made him wear a bow tie. He complained a ton, say how stupid it was, and how he wouldn't wear it. When he got there, after the ceremony was over, the beautiful puffball came over and said she really like his bow tie and gave him a peck on the cheek. ever since then, he has believed bow ties are good luck and 'cool', so he wears them all the time, hoping they will make his dreams come true.
