NAME;;
Alchemy.
al·che·my [al-kuh-mee]; a form of chemistry and speculative philosophy practiced in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and concerned principally with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and with finding a universal solvent and an elixir of life
I chose the name alchemy for her after seeing her heterochromatic eyes. They reminded me of an evil or cursed spirit, which reminded me of potions and elixirs, which, of course, led to alchemy. Her eyes are actually the basis for the game too ^v^
GENDER;;
Female; what else? her elegant dark paws and different colored vermilion-and-teal eyes all make her very, very feminine in my eyes, though never a girly-girl.
FAVORITE GAME;;
dead witch; a unique game that my siblings, my cousins and I often play together.
dead witch is often played on a trampoline, though really any empty, bare enclosed space will work. one person volunteers, or is elected, to be the dead witch/wizard. they lay on the ground, and the other people gather around them. walking {bouncing, on a trampoline} around the 'dead' person, they chant, "dead witch, dead witch, come alive. when we count to five. one, two, three, four, five." on five, the dead witch rises. keeping their eyes closed, they must move around in the area and attempt to "convert" all of the other people, the living.
there are not many rules to dead witch;
1. you may not leave the area, be you living or the dead witch.
2. the dead witch/wizard may not open their eyes, until the game is over.
alchemy loves this game because of her obsession with the dead. not many beans enjoy playing with her; she has become excellent at navigating with her eyes closed. it's normal, she supposes, because no one can look into her eyes for more than a few seconds before going completely insane. being a loner and an outcast, with a half-mad father who was a biological scientist and whose only wish was to find out where the philosopher's stone, granter of immortality and supposedly the flower of a plant, she was bound to be a bit...odd.
playing the game has become a bit of a tradition for her and those beans who *will* play with her, and once a month, when the moon is full, the four or five beans who attend gather under the moonlight on Alchemy's trampoline and play dead witch late into the night.
