Ｔｈｉｓ ｉｓ ｗｈｏ Ｉ ａｍ . . .
Aria's personality is very diverse consisting of many different traits and characteristics. Generally however, she tends to be very straightforward and careless, lacking the ability to think ahead and ponder the consequences of her actions. This fact causes some to perceive her as a spoiled child, but that's only the surface of her personality. If you care to look a little deeper you can see a confident, social bean who occasionally loses her way and gets herself into trouble. Often times she believes she is capable of doing more then she can handle which is ultimately the cause of her failure. Aria is easily discouraged in times of defeat due to her strong desire to impress, but she is also determined and won't accept failure until the very end. Being as strong minded as she is, there's no stopping her when she truly wants something and she's willing to do whatever it takes to obtain her goal. Even if it means taking drastic measures in order to do so. Around beans of her age, she makes friends easily and has an ability to get along with many different types of personalities. Although she can build friendships rather quickly, she finds it difficult to keep them and avoid pushing them away. After time, it gets hard to put up with her bossy, naive personality which frequently causes her friendships to crumble. She doesn't quite understand why so many leave her, but is seemingly unaffected by the opinions of others. Aria is the type of girl who knows who she is and is not willing to change, not for anybody.

Thief || Lonely || Imaginative || Anxious || Thrill-seeker

Thief –
Pavo is many things, but a thief is one of his main components. He never meant to be like this though. It started when he was little. He came from a wealthy family, though his parents were both much too busy to pay their only son any attention. This led to him seeking out other means of having their focus on him, including negative attention. He would move things around the house at first, just placing things like their phones or wallets in empty vases, and eventually leading up to jewellery and his father’s watch. They were expensive items, and they noticed almost right away. They scolded him and after months of this, they sent him off to a special school. He didn’t get as much attention there, so his thieving behaviour was reinforced. He has become quite the skilled pick-pocket, so watch your stuff!

Lonely –
As stated before, Pavo didn’t get much attention, so he gets lonely very easily. He finds that the items he steals keep him company. Pavo almost always has his little teddy in his pouch, buried among various stolen trinkets. The trinkets are familiar sounds to him, and the teddy is his only true friend. Despite this, he is good at socializing, and will often use this to gain access to other bean’s items.

Imaginative –
Without any imagination, he would be rather bored. When there isn’t much to steal or stash away, he keeps to himself and brings out the teddy. The cloth bear is old and only has one eye, but that has only encouraged Pavo to think of his little friend as a pirate. They have many adventures together, often quietly inventing things in a corner somewhere.

Anxious –
Though Pavo is an experienced thief, he still gets very anxious – and not just about the things he has stolen. He worries that people will try and take away his items. Whatever he steals, he then thinks of as ‘his’. He steals it, he owns it. If someone were to try and steal his trinkets back, he would be devastated. He has many caches hidden in trees, parks, other people’s backyards… He doesn’t really have any sense of boundaries, and often wanders past ‘keep out’ signs without a second thought. He visits his hiding spots at least once a day, and counts everything. If he is kept from seeing them, he gets very agitated and paranoid.

Thrill-seeker –
Part of why Pavo keeps stealing things is for the thrill. He loves the hype he gets after he’s dashing away from his latest victim. He is also fond of the looks others give him when he adorns himself with his things. It’s such an unusual sight to see a small bean laden with gold and silver. He has a habit of keeping his tail curved upwards to prevent the various chains and watches from sliding off. The attention he receives is highly desirable.

Pavo the thief, swiftly darts here and there
Lifting items with exaggerated care
A watch clasp slips, a gold chain breaks
He's not choosy with what he takes
As long as the item shines
and will be missed in due time
Then it will be nicked with feather-paws
For it's not the value that is the cause
But the absence, and the panic that ensues
the shouts, the noise, the searches, too!
Oh how fun it is to watch them try
But Pavo is clever, and much too sly.
He sits, he waits, he dashes, he hides,
And still the thrill never subsides.

Excitable
Quinn is very easily excited. Little things can make him squeal or start giggling uncontrollably, garnering some odd looks from other JBDs. He’s just fairly happy-go-lucky, and a lot of things make him smile. Some would even call him bouncy, although this is a bit of an exaggeration.

Smart
Despite some of his more goofy, distracted personality traits, Quinn is quite smart. He knows a lot about insects and plants in specific, and is also rather good at algebra and basic math. He often has trouble expressing his understanding to others in words though, as he has a fairly small (and mainly scientific) vocabulary. He finds himself grasping for words whenever he tries to express his thoughts in simple terms.

Stubborn
Quinn is very stubborn. He’s fairly mild mannered and doesn’t like to pick a fight, however, it’s hard to change his opinion. He’ll normally let you hear what you want to hear before completely disregarding your advice and going right on with his plan. That being said, he’s not ignorant. If you have a reasonable reason for him he might change his mind; he just doesn’t find most reasons not to do things reasonable.

Passionate
Quinn doesn’t like many things, but the things he does like mean a lot to him. He has a strong passion for insects, and hopes to be an entomologist when he grows up. He also loves studying plant species and how they grow. He has a bug room where he keeps a collection of jars, terrariums, and detailed sketches + photographs of insects he’s caught and captured. He also likes reptiles and amphibians, and has two toads and a common garter snake in the same room. He breeds crickets as food for them. He also has a plant room (sun room), where he grows different kinds of plants and experiments to see if he can change the way they look and grow (ex getting a bonsai tree to grow some small and some full size fruit).

Social
Despite being what many people would qualify as “nerdy”, Quinn actually loves people and attention. He prefers to have company at all times if possible, and has a tendency to talk out loud when he works, regardless if anyone is listening or not. He especially likes people who take interest in the same things as him (or those who listen without interrupting).

Empathetic
Quinn is very empathetic, and is very good at understanding others. He sees everybody in a good light, meaning that he is very exposed to being hurt due to trusting too deeply. He also feels empathy for all the bugs and animals he keeps, meaning he finds it difficult to give his animals live food. But he does it anyways simply because he knows that’s the circle of life. It makes him feel a bit guilty though.
