The Dreamer wrote:She opened her eyes.
The weight of the world was lifted from her, a gentle breeze billowing through her long, dark fur.
She felt the grass tickle her feet and nose, rising to her feet she surveyed the area.
The grass was tall, up to her legs, and among the grass there were dozens upon dozens of gorgeous flowers with blossoms of every color.
Her eyes snagged on each individual flower, each petal, as they wafted slowly in the breeze, dancing to a silent tune.
Juliet found her eyes glued to the horizon as the pastel sun slid down over the endless field, painting the sky a brilliant array of solar hues.
Soon the twilight sky was above her, twinkling stars bright and blazing in the suns' place.
In the distance she noticed a cave, small and hardly notable off in the distance.
Graciously she started padding towards it, feeling the rippling sensation of grass under her feet.
However her gentle walk developed slowly into a vigorous jog, and finally a mad dash.
As soon as she arrived, she noticed the ominous shimmer of crystals from deep within the bowels of the cave, curiously she allowed her gem to emanate a faint glow so she could adventure onwards.
Padding inside side noticed dangerous stalagmites and stalactites clinging from the ceiling above her and cave floor, frozen like statuette raindrops in motion.
Nervously Julie travelled on, deeper and deeper into the mysterious cave.
As she ventured, the light from the tantalizing gemstones grew brighter and brighter still, hungry for adventure and treasure she persisted despite her fear of the encroaching darkness. She stood tall and brave, prancing on.
At the end of the journey she came to a large, open room that looked almost sculpted out of the fine rock. It was a massive ovular room with hulking crystals emerging out of the sides of each wall. A treasure chest sat neatly in the center, cautiously she approached it.
Upon opening the trove, she was greeted to her wonder by all varieties of gold, silver and gems that shone like the hot midday sun.
She closed her eyes with a faint sigh of accomplishment, proud of her efforts and her discovery.
Carefully she went to move the chest, but the ground around her crumbled and she began to plummet into an abysmal darkness unlike any she'd ever seen.
Panic overwhelmed her and she clung tightly for dear life to the chest she had sought, hoping somehow this would save her from her fate.
As the darkness crawled it's way around her, engulfing her small frame, everything went black.
Then,
she opened her eyes.
Note Worthy wrote:Most of the time Juliet won't remember her daydreaming fantasies, nor can she explain them.
There's usually a poetic symbolism behind her dreams, and being the curious young girl she is Juliet loves hunting for them in all sorts of mythology.
She has nacrolepsy which causes her to fall asleep randomly without explanation. She usually ends up in really weird places/positions because of this.
