January 20th

This is strange to me. Everything is strange here. Johanna gave this to me when I first arrived here. A journal she called it? A book for me to write my thoughts in. She hoped that it would help me. Said I am going through a lot of change, and I am, and she told me that a good way to relieve some of that stress was to write it out. She know's that I miss my home in a terrible way, and since it is too much for me to speak of out loud, I can put it on paper. I can write about my home, anything I want about it. How much I want about it. I told her that I would use up the entire journal, but she told me it was okay, that that is what it was made for. I've never written anything like this before. I guess I should just start somewhere.... let this take me back.

I was born in the great rain forest called the Amazon, a place as much a part of me as I was it. It was the most beautiful place I could imagine... I grew up there, roaming the land as I saw fit, exploring every nook and hole I came across. I can remember it so clearly.... it was always warm and humid.... one of the best things about it.... The trees that grew there grew in abundance, dense and close knit. Sunlight rarely made it to the forest floor because the branches above blotted it out. There were so many trees! Unlike here... the woods here in America look dead in comparison.... Everything was connected there... The trees rooted themselves deep into the earth and their branches twisted and meshed with others so that it was impossible to tell when one tree ended and another began. Ferns and flowers and creeping vines colored their trunks, blending, disappearing and reappearing, with a certain kind of flow that only nature can make. I remember running for the sheer joy of seeing all shades of green blend in my sight, in and out of shadow, feeling safe with all the life around me. You could hear it humming all the time, everywhere you went there was always a whisper of life to be heard, as if nature was humming to me.... Birds called, monkeys screeched and hollered, insects buzzed and rummaged the leaves.... Even quiet creatures like the jaguar and the ant made noise, even if it was just a soft brush of fur against a tree, or the hint of a scuffling colony building a nest. Life was everywhere, thriving in this green paradise, protected... safe...

Image

I went on my own when I was very young, and the wild was my teacher. Over the years I learned the prints of every animal that walked or climbed, recognized the sent of every plant and fruit, I even grew familiar with the layout of the forest itself. The way the trees leaned, how the webs of moss and vine made nets upon their branches, the pools of spring water.... I rarely found myself lost.

One day, though, I did...

I created my own trails with swift paws, and I relished the feeling of moist earth beneath my feet and the way my claws churned it up into clumps with each step. So lost was I in the feeling that I did not pay attention to the passage of trees around me. For the only time in my life, I was truly lost. The ferns and fronds around me were unfamiliar, and there was the sound of a great river somewhere, a river that I never knew existed until then. Wandering, I followed the river for many steps, most of the sunlight was spent by the time anything changed. Near dusk, I met my first humans. They were strange looking, without fur for the most part, two legged, faces that were flat and set in patterns of different colors of which I would later realize was face paint. They saw me and we both stood still. They were just as uncertain as I was, hands clasping sticks with pointed ends. I felt the urge to flee, until another strange human appeared, an old one. This one looked upon me with an expression I did not quite recognize... it looked almost expectant... A lot happened in a short amount of time, and I was still young and do not remember most of it, but... I ended up in a village, a village full of life. Different life. Humans mulled around huts fashioned from branches and crude mortar and fires smelling of fresh wood and cooking meals. Young ones played with sticks and round objects while adults gathered in groups, talking or weaving or stringing bows... a community. The oldest one came to me again and startled me by speaking in the language that I knew. He told me that he saw me in a dream, and that he wished to welcome me into his tribe as a fellow sister and warrior. I was confused at first, and I could tell the other humans were just as wary, but the old one was insistent, saying that if it was not fate, then I would not have been born the was I had. Looking into a small pool of water, he showed me myself clearly for the first time, and I was startled. I looked like one of the humans! The pattern of colors on my muzzle looked just like the paint the warrior men wore, and that, the old one said, along with my sudden appearance just as the men were returning from an extended trip he sent them on after first having the dream, where no coincidence. He told me that it was the will of the gods that brought me to them, and with surprising ease, I believed him...

Image

The tribe became my home just as much as the forest had...

The tribe were as much a part of the land as the land was to them. They took me in and I learned their ways. They worked together, the men and women. Men went out to fetch food and protect the tribe while women cooked the food and took care of the village. Even though I was obviously not human AND female, the old one, who I learned was the chief, had me train with the male warriors, much to their anger. He said that fate would have me follow this path, and it was not anyone's place to change it. The chief's word is law, and so the men took me with scowling and grumbled curse. Life was difficult, and the men did not spare any hurt or scorn from me, but I did not fret. Here was a new life that I never imagined could exist. A way to make my life have purpose. I grabbed at the thought, and clung to it while I trained in the warrior's way. Years passed and my skill grew well... I learned to fight and track as well as any of the men, and, though I do not kill or eat meat, I learned to hunt. My skills did not end there. My swiftness and quietness traversing the forest knew no equal. No creature could run the trail as silent as I could, with years of practice and natural poise, I made not a sound. So great was my skill that even the warrior's were impressed, and, over time, gave me respect. And so I grew into an adult, swift upon silent paws, cunning in battle, and unshakable in navigation. I never lost my way nor stirred up doubt again. Though I was not born to them, I had become a warrior, though and through, as though my heart and spirit had meant for me to be here from the very start. And so it was, among painted faces made to resemble my own, rhythmic chanting that made each voice seem as one, and mesmerizing dance that beats along with the heart... All parts of these people that I have grown to respect and love, I earned my name. From the start when I was born, it never occurred to me that I was, in fact, nameless. There was never any real need to associate myself with a word, for I had been alone and, until now, had lived life as just another dragon. But here, living with the humans that have become family to me, I stood in front of the Great Bonfire that seemed to reach the sky, and from the chief, received my name in honor of my unique skill. I had earned several nicknames over the years, such as 'The Living Shadow' and 'Spirit', for the way I look and how I slide through the forest without twitching a leaf. Most popular among them was 'Silent', and so it was that Silent was the name I was given. I officially became one with my family that cool night, who in turn was one with the land around us... It seemed that my circle for life was complete, and I was happy...

Image

...

...

This is the hardest part to think of.... the part where everything turned to ruin... Another type of human came.... armed with large monsters that growled a sound unlike any animal I've ever heard, and belched black smoke from pipes in their hides. It was monsters, machines as I learned they were called, that began to tear down my forest... Wheels churning up the earth and blades that felled trees in seconds... It must have been a dream...

But it wasn't...

The entire forest was eaten by them, these other humans, and soon there was no place for my family and I to live. Everything we had, every tradition we cherished was torn and we were forced to scatter into the wind like flies or gnats... I have not seen any of my family since then... Before they took me and put me onto the flying machine they called a plane, I ran. Silent as death, I ran to the forest that was no more. There, breathless and heavy with sorrow, I walked among the emptiness, splinters piercing my pads, almost blinded by the sunlight that shined, unblocked and bright now that the canopy was gone. I stood in the middle of this field of splinters, a field of death, suffering from a pain deep inside my chest, a wound more painful and piercing than anything I've ever known...

I wept...

There is probably nothing left of it now, nothing except for the piece of it I carry with me where ever I go. Before I was flown to the country of the United States, I took a part of my home with me. An ancient tree, old as the forest itself, laid on it's side from where it had been felled by the monsters. I had sat by it, weeping in my heart for the place that was disappearing before my eyes, and, in a sudden throbbing of emotion, took out a knife. I wanted to take some of it with me, anything, a tribute to the land I once knew... and so it was that I found a knot in the tree, old and sturdy, and painstakingly carved it out. It wasn't very large, nor was it pretty. Just a lump of unsightly wood in a roundish shape, but I took it. While I was with the tribe, I learned that the knot is the toughest part of the tree, from where it had healed itself from a wound long ago. It reminded me of what I need to keep close, that this wound will heal, and it will become the strongest part of me. Just as the tree heals itself and continues to grow, I hoped that I could follow it's example. And so I took it and wrapped it with a stretch of twine into a necklace. After some thought, I decided not to carve it into a more attractive shape. To do so almost seemed like an insult. I have no right to form nature into what I thing it should look like. That is what these other humans where doing, destroying for their own gain... I never wanted to be like them.. And so I left it as it was, looking just how nature had intended it to look. It seems better that way somehow...

Image

America is so different from all that I've ever known... There is a pain in my heart from where my forest and my people were torn from me, as if the monsters had taken the tree that makes up my heart and turned it's roots skyward, never to be the same again. I am grateful to Johanna for giving me a place to stay and recover. She is very kind. But nothing will ever replace what was lost, and I spend most of my days running the mountain woods by her home in search of it, but it just doesn't feel the same. I know that I can make a new life here, and I might actually be happy, though it will be hard. But difficultly is nothing new to me. I am a warrior to the deepest core of my being... The forest is a part of me just as I was a part of it... I have to remind myself that. As long as I am here, my beloved home is also. I have to remember that...

I have too...

Dropping out, I don't have enough time and you guys' forms are amazing.

Username; paperose
Name; Torrent
Gender; Female
Homeland; madagascar

username;;
Good morning, my name is paperose, but before I go on and ramble about myself, I shall move on. Well, I would ramble about myself given half the chance. And, not much of it is that interesting.
do you already own one;;
Nope, I'm hoping to get one soon though. And all these lovely beans, I sure hope mine will be lovely. My first bean sure will be loved.

her name;;
Torrent's her name.
explanation please;;
Don't ask me why, because I don't even know. It just popped into my brain as I was looking at her and there it was. What I think is the perfect name for her. Torrent means a strong and fast-moving stream of water or other liquid. It has no real meaning for her personality or markings, but I'm sure I would delve into that if I got her.
nickname;;
There's one nickname that Torrent has, which is Rant.
explanation please;;
Reason being, she just basically rants a lot. Rant rant rant. Not all the time, though she usually finds a little bit to rant about. Once she's said it though, she won't go back to it like some other beans might.
epithets
None really, but she'd like one that sounds cool. Something like, The bean of Shadows. Just something she made up that kind of goes with her markings.

gender;;
She's female. Well, you said that she'd be female and I would have said that anyway. Also, she says she's female.
sexuality;;
Straight until proved otherwise, that means the girls aren't ruled out just yet. However, the girl would have to be extra special.

birthday
age
astrological signs

homeland;;
Why does nearly everyone assume a dark bean came from a cold, dreary place? No, it can be that way, but there are often many occurrences where dark coloured animals come from baking hot countries. Like this one.
Torrent lived in such a country. Her geography's not that great seeing as she doesn't really know where she originated is on the map, but she knows it's somewhere just below the equator, next to Africa. She knows that the variety of animals that live there is immense, millions more than what us human beings see. It's also a place of landscapes, with tons of plains, mountains, jungles and more. The vibrant colours that are blasted into your face are amazing, not the dull ones we see, but eye blinding bright. And hundreds are pounded at your eye each second. That's why her eyes are how they are, dull, to block out most of the brightness of the colours so she can look at them. That's also why she can't see very well in the dull world of the humans, hardly any colour. When people say she's blind, she replies with 'No, my eyes just miss the vibrance of home, it's you who is blind.' And more than Torrent's eyes, the whole of her misses the beauty of the colours of where she grew up. That was her favourite part, the colours. She'd often try to replicate them, but to no avail. She left on an exploration boat that had come to her home, as a stowaway. She'd always wanted to see the other parts of the world, which she knew was out there, but she just couldn't get across the sea. It is an island, you know.
You might be asking yourself, well, what exactly is this mysterious island? I only just found out recently myself, and after a lot of hard work which I'll spare you from.
It's Madagascar.

Do you even need to ask? She's beautiful. I mean, who couldn't fall for that gorgeous design. Black grey and white. I've always had a thing for monochrome, But this is amazing. Just the chance to go for her is awesome, so thanks. I know that she''l go to a great owner, though I am hoping you'll choose me. Back to the question, though. I'm rambling again.
And the eyes. They look worrying, and I just want to be able to wipe it off her face. They draw you in though, make you think why she looks at you like that.

Hello there, my name is Monster, I'm from Oamaru, New Zealand. Sound familiar? Well it should; Lorde's from New Zealand. I think it's pretty cool actually. Lorde happens to be one of my favorite singers. Well and Eminem, but he's from the United States haha. I do miss my home actually. I used to go out every morning and take loads of pictures. Occasionally I'll find a penguin on the beach and get a snap shot of it as well. I enjoy photography and my homeland was always my main focus, it seemed like no matter the mood I was in; I could always find something that reflected it. I liked the rocky beach the best about my home; waking up to the smell of the ocean. I hope to take a trip back home soon, maybe I'll get to take Tea with me! I want to see all my child hood friends and show them all the cool things I got here in the States.

WRITTEN IN THESE WALLS ARE THE THAT I CAN'T EXPLAIN.❞

    username>>
    Hello! my name is { Loves Blind } and I am extraordinarily excited to be trying for her<3

    name>>
    Onegaishimasu.
    reason for name>>
    Onehaishimasu generally is a polite way to say please in Japanese.
    Though also meaning a statement- "Please, please do." or other things in that variety. c:
    If forced out in a different way it could also mean 'Please.' in a sarcastic manner, but is often used as an extremely polite way to say please.
    nickname>>
    Masu.
    reason for nickname>>
    Masu is the end of her long and hard to pronounce name. When she tells others her name, they are often confused and she must explain what it means, and how to say it. So she simply says they may call her Masu.

    homeland>>
    Onegaishimasu originates from Japan, and lived there her whole life.
    She trained as a kunoich, for some time actually. A Kunoich is a female ninja, and she is proud to have had that title.
    She lived in a smaller community in Japan, no where near Tokyo. The area was full of monks and smaller children training in the martial art of Ninjitsu. She lived her whole life like this till only years ago, then she was forced to leave. Her small tribe was at a small war no one knew of with another, of coarse there was blood shed, what with how they lived there lives, as Kunoich and Ninja's. She fled her home land, and moved away. Where she could be safe. When she did live in Japan, she was always at peace with the land, and everyone around here. She was never angered, always felt at peace. Though, when she left she felt a lot of her zen slip away, which bothered her to extents she cannot explain.
    where she lives now>>
    She lives in Canada. The only place she knew she would be safe. It's quite, and her culture, or what she lived her life by aren't practiced here. So her being zen and able to preform martial arts is most likely considered strange with most. Though, she enjoys it here. It's a gentle land, with much to offer, and she vows to make the most of it.
    does she miss her homeland>>
    Oh, of coarse she does. She misses the rest of the beans she lived with, her family, and everything that she loved.

    gender>>
    Female.
    age>>
    Masu is 20, she just turned 20 a month ago though, so she is a new adult!
    sexuality>>
    She has no preference, honestly. So I'd say Pansexual, though she leans more towards males.

    birthday>>
    December 10th.
    horoscope>>
    Sagittarius.

    personality>>
    Onegaishimasu is a caring bean, with a gentle personality. She will refuse to use harm unless absolutely necessary, with what she had been taught her entire life, peace was something to cherish, and she refuses to destroy peace unless she must.
    She has a soft Japanese accent, though it's beginning to wear off from her living in Canada for three years now. She can speak Japanese and English, though she is forced to speak English now, if you upset her, or she forgets you'll often hear her speak in her foreign tongue.
    She is soft spoken, and will always strive for perfection in herself. She is someone you could call a natural born leader, always putting others before herself. She risks herself In dangerous situations for others, and is known for that trait. It is a good trait, and a bad trait.
    She can use a katana to her liking, and it was her weapon of choice when she was being trained in martial arts long ago.
    You'll hear her call someone she adores, and look up to, Sensei. Back in Japan, in her tribe, there were Sensei's. This is one who is motherly, or fatherly, and nurturing to there student- it is also the person to train you in Ninjitsu, or teach you things. So if you hear her call you Sensei, be honored.
    Honor is another thing. She is full of honor, and hates to disgrace it, for she feels lowly if she does something stupid, or foolish.
    She is also patient beyond reasoning, and can be seen teaching younger beans to read, or write without anyone even telling her to. She loves to teach, and help others grow.
    She is let down easily, though. It's something that happens when she feels she failed, or when she thinks to much about her past, and how she wishes she could have succeeded further in life, before she had to leave Japan, and her family.
    flaws>>
    -She is lonely, and always attempts to keep others safe, ignoring her own needs.
    -She worries worries to much about her loved ones.
    -She feels she needs to perfect herself all the time.
    diseases or disorders>>
    -She has Asthma, and what with her being trained in Ninjitsu you wouldn't think so, but she gets out of breath easily.
    friends>>
    She tries to be friends with all, but has no exact set friends yet.
    quirks>>
    -She is a little bit of a nerd, and likes to watch Star Trek.
    -She uses lame puns a lot.
    -She get's flustered easily, blushing quite often.
    phobias>>
    -Letting others down
    -Others noticing she has flaws
    -Letting herself down
    -Letting people she loves get hurt
    -Angry people.

    likes>>
    -Ninjitsu
    -Physical activity
    -Being a protector
    -Food
    -children
    -others obeying orders
    -warmth
    -fresh air
    -Night time, mostly for the stars
    -peace
    -Mornings
    -tea
    -star trek
    dislikes>>
    -Letting herself fail at something
    -When she can't perfect something
    -Getting frustrated
    -Angry people
    -Generally anger and frustration
    -when people sleep in forever
    -when people insult her
    -being all alone
    hobbies>>
    -Training
    -Watching Star Trek
    -She adores drawing
    -she goes for a jog once a night, in rain or snow.
    accessories>>
    She wears wrap around her ankles, and wrists. As well as some wrap around her fingers, and the top of her tail. She has two silver ear studs in each ear as well.

Amelia Pond

Postby ~Static~ » Tue Jan 21, 2014 8:08 am

A home is not where one was born, but where one's heart will stay forever.

Ʋƨɛяиαмɛ; ~Shocking Tea~, but only for tea week. <3

Иαмɛ; Amelia Pond

Ǥɛи∂ɛя; Female

Ħσмɛℓαи∂; Amelia comes from a small island not far from the coast of Alaska, but not part of the state. It is a country of it's own, no matter how small it may be, and her tribe lived very traditional lives. They had tents made of skins, and each family clan gathered by a campfire every night for a meal. Amelia's siblings enjoyed this life, but it wasn't for her- She didn't come from there. In fact, it's as though she were destined to explore.

Personality; Amelia is a feisty,smart bean, who has used her cunning often to get her out of a scrape. She loves to explore, and tends to travel a lot, not really having a settled home, although one day she hopes to. She is outgoing, although not very eager to make friends, and loves curling up by the fire with a good book.

Amelia in her winter hood she wore up north.

Ħιƨтσяʏ;
As I've said before, Amelia wasn't technically born in the arctic, but she lived there for her whole childhood. Her parents were travelers who explored, and Amelia was born on one of these expeditions. Her parents were on the road one night when they decided they couldn't take care of her, so they left her with the natives of the area. She was taken in by a large, happy family, and was raised by the whole village. Nowadays she travels in a trailer not unlike a gypsy caravan, searching fora place to stay where she would not have to move... whether it be because of a bad reputation or rumors being spread.

reserve so much!

Rolling wilderness and thickly populated cities- have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the best of both worlds? I have never, because I already do. My home gives me tranquility and nature, but with the civilized metropolis flare to it. What is this marvelous place you ask? Well Scotland, of course! Didn't the accent already give you a clue?

Home of many myths and legends, Scotland is a stop in Europe many tourists take! We are home of the famous "Loch Ness Monster" and many other legends as well. Scotland's capital, though I do not reside there, is Edinburgh. Edinburgh is not Scotland's largest city, however. That honor belongs to Glasgow. The official languages of Scotland are English, Gaelic and Scots, however I am only fluent in English, of those three, though I can understand Gaelic. Did you know that Scotland has over 800 islands, of which only 130 are inhabited? I live on one of the northern islands, the Isle of Skye. Scotland has very moderate temperature, hardly ever going extreme on either side of the temperature scale. Therefore my winters are not drastically cold, nor more summers unbearably hot. Because of this I rarely needed to shed fur during the summer or grow it thicker in the winter. I do these a bit, but the weather is always wonderful, even in the dead of winter or middle of summer. Scotland's high latitude means that although winter days are short, during the summer months, the days are very long, often with an extended twilight.

The Isle of Skye, or Skye, is one of the most beautiful islands in Scotland. I call the town Glen Brittle home, but Glen Brittle isn't the home of just me! Glen Brittle is the home of the beautiful Fairy Pools! Unfortunately, they are a tourist attraction, but other than that, the gorgeous pools that are so full of colour make every day I live and enjoyable one! It is best during the summer where you could recline by the pools and read a good book. There are also many mountains, or hills, on the Isle of Skye. These are often filled with hikers, but the tranquil peaks are a beautiful sight to behold. Due to the moderate temperatures and weather, I, when not preoccupied with learning, can spend my free time hiking the mountains, camping and even just taking week long trips for painting. My pads have thickened over the years due to the constant walking, so that they are less sensitive. Because I live on an island, I often find myself swimming. Luckily, my fur is single layered, which means that that water drains of my fur easily and it keeps that prolonged water exposure from chilling me. In other words, I dry easily and I stay very insulated in the water.

A few facts for you to ponder! Scotland's largest loch is Loch Lomond. Scotland's longest river is the River Tay, which is 193 km in length! The highest mountain? Ben Nevis at 1344 m in height! Had enough? I'm just getting started! No, just kidding. I have plenty more facts, but I'm sure you're busy and I've got a history book waiting on the couch so, see ya!

Name: Saga (a long story of heroic achievement)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Personality: Saga is a very tranquil individual. She likes peace and quiet, allowing time for study and thought. She is patient, gentle and encouraging, which helps when she assists students in learning. She is intelligent, often bringing up quirky facts and figures in her heavily accent speech such as "did you know?" questions and "as a matter of fact" statements. She doesn't try to push her brains to anyone else, just habitually shows her knowledge. She isn't usually, but sometimes is very social and talkative, enjoying discussing history, mythology and art. She often keeps to herself, choosing to find enjoyment in a book or painting instead of parties or shopping, which is common for others her age.

Interview
Saga is in blue.
Interviewer is in black.

"Hello, Saga. I'm here to learn a bit more about your ol' homeland, Scotland!"
"So I hear. What would you like to know?"
"Such a lovely accent dear.... Anyhow, What do you love most about your home?"
"Thanks, and I consider my home very special due to many things. First, it has much history and mythology to fascinate one's mind. Second, the scenery is beautiful and tranquil. Third, I quite enjoy the people, all are friendly and welcoming."
"Wonderful, wonderful. What do you dislike about your home?"
"Excuse me? How do you know there's anything about my homeland I dislike?"
"There is always a con. It can never be perfect."
"I see your point. I do not like how the great scenery and landmarks attract tourists. I find them ignorant and annoying. Especially during the summer."
"Well then, what if you were the tourist? Where would you want to go?"
"Honestly, I'd prefer to stay home, since I live in a beautiful area."
"Fine. Where is that area?"
"Glen Brittle, Isle of Skye. The island is so beautiful, with mountains and rivers. The Fairy Pools are especially magnificent."
"Really?! I hear it is beautiful this time of year."
"Oh yes, it is probably flocked with tourists as we speak. They always ruin the tranquility. Honestly, I don't see the point of all the activity. They all rush to see the sights, but never stay put long enough to truly experience them."
"Fascinating words, dear. If you had the whole day to yourself, but trapped in town, what would you do?"
"Interesting, dear interviewer. I live with rolling hills and the Fairy Pools within walking distance. I would make myself a picnic and spend the whole day by the falls, peacefully reading, or perhaps painting. That would be a dream come true."
"You seem to be one for peace and quiet. What would you do if a contract was signed and the area was to be bulldozed and turned into a major city?"
"A, that will never happen. B, I would try to get them to stop peacefully. And C, if peace didn't work I sabotage them. No, just kidding. If worst came to worst, I would move away from the town, to another peaceful place. But I would remain in Scotland at all costs! No one will move me from my home!"
"Interesting, dear Saga. Now, what do you think of the mythology from Scotland, let's go with an easy one. Do you think the Loch Ness Monster exists?"
"Tales for tourists! I do not believe in any such thing, though there may have been a sea creature residing in the lake at the time it was created. Concerning other myths and tales, however, I love them all very much."
"So despite your love for myths and history, you do not believe them?"
"I did not say that. I may not agree with some of the myths, but that is why they are myths and not headliners in the newspaper. Myths are the basis for culture and peoples. They are important, even if not true. They are mysteries with lessons to be taught, even if not directly."
"You always have answers, don't you? Alright, I'm plum out of questions."
"Good, this was getting boring, and I have a book waiting for me at my desk. Good bye."

Reason behind entry? For much time, I, Vixenix, have been searching for a bean to call my own. I've been trying for mainly normal adopts, with the exception of two nursery bean try-outs. I've clicked with many beans, but lucky has not held. However, I refuse to give up as I know when I truly deserve a bean, I will win one. I am starting to become smarter with my entries, choosing more unique things and only attempting when I have the time and determination to follow through. This is one of those determined entries. I am giving my best shot, with what I find suits her, even if no one else agrees. I wish you, the reader, the best of luck (if you are participating), enjoyment and endurance (if you are judging) and a very good day!

Why I like her? I've always had a soft spot in my heart for darker tones and washouts in greys, blacks and whites. On top of that I love blues, so she just seems perfect! Her simple yet elegant design is lovely and I would be able to give her as much attention as I can handle, as I will be a little busy in the upcoming month. I think her eyes are spectacular and complementary to her design and can already see her looking wonderful in some blue accessories.

How will I treat her? Due to myself switching schools, I will be extremely busy, and, as I can imagine, a little overwhelmed. Although I'd care for her to the best of my ability, for the first month I won't be able to draw her or spoil her. However I would find time on my weekends to build her a character page, so I can store all her detailed information. After this one month, I'd totally design her items and scribble her all over my sketchbook, though few of my awful drawing will be posted online. However, I can guarantee you I'd give her the utmost spoiling on every spare second of mine.

Notes: Immense Thank You's go out to Bronwyn and Smoke-the-Wolf, for giving me advice and encouragement. I got the photo from here, credit goes to the owner and photographer.
