Silence fell over the forest as light became only a dream to the eternally slumbering cats. Except to one young female, who was looking around, the moon reflecting off of her shining eyes. She pleaded for daylight as fear struck her heart. All around her had become stone. There was nothing warm, no breaths stirring her chocolate colored ears as she lay in darkness. It became apparent to her that this could not be real. But it was more real that she could imagine. The young cat rose, fleeing before she suffered the same fate. Horror struck her as she saw the antagonist, its dragonesque wolf form chilling her, cold as the stone that her family had become. Chocolate Grapes fled, her heart thudding. It was close behind her, acidic slaver flowing from its black jaws. She make a sharp turn, then saw the dead end. Fear took her into its deadly clutches, and she became unconscious, terribly aware of the beast that was coming closer. She was silent, waiting for death. But it did not come. In fact, the terror-wrought creature was gone. When the cat awoke, she saw nothing. All was still stone, and she crept away from the terrible place. She remained in a near by city, always wondering if she will ever see her true home in its correct state again.
