Homeland; Her homeland is Alaska. Her long fur simply shows she is suited for the cold weather and icy winds. She loved Alaska because it was always interesting and even though it was cold she always was able to stay out long. Her most favorite part was the snow, it was a beautiful sight when it snowed and it sparkled day and night.

HOMELAND
A tropical Beach. Her homeland is a beautiful place, a deserted tropical island. But she doesn't want to go back, as much as she misses it. She loves it where she lives no. She enjoys it and wouldn't change it. But she has grown to live and enjoy her new friends here. She loves the beaches, as they had little huts that her family lived on, until she got taken away from there, she didn't have much after that and now she does. Her family still lives on the beaches, and she wants to visit them, but she just can't utter the strength to go.

Username;
Name;
Alda.
I would name this beautiful bean Alda, it fits her very well, a nice name that rolls off the tongue but still has passion and meaning. Alda is an Icelandic name, originating from her homeland. Alda has two meanings, some people think it means wealthy and others think it means wise elder.
Gender;
Short Personality;
Alda has come to live up to her name. Ever since she moved away from her homeland, she has become quite and respectful, as if she has lost the spark once inside her. She is and always has been a very smart little bean, but she is not a show off. She loves to help others and can figure out almost any problem someone throws at her. Now Alda is certainly not rich, but she considers herself to be. She is very grateful for the friends and family she has, and the roof over her head, so she happily considers herself to be rich with happiness.
Alda is a very spirited bean, always very happy and perky, she still is today, but if you knew her, you would know she lost the spark you could once see in her eyes.
Homeland Memories;
Alda closed her eyes, her head laying on the soft green grass, as she felt the cool breeze rush over her face, sending a chill through her body. Her ears perked up as she head the grass crunch under someone's feet. She sat up slowly her eyes open, as she expected to see another bean sitting there, but only to find her self occupied by a small puffin. She smiled at the small bird as waddled a little closer to her, his eyes looking at her confused. Alda sat there completely silent, as she slowly reached her hand into her pouch, digging around until she found what she was looking for. She slowly pulled her hand out the contents of her hand spilling a little. The puffin took another step towards her, curious about what was inside her closed hand. Alda oped her hand slowly, not wanting to scare the puffin off, and gently tossed the bird seed toward the happy bird. The bird waddled toward the seed, looking down at it, he clearly had no interest since they only ate fish, so he flew away. "Well it was worth a shot" Alda said sighing as she laid back down, her head against the soft grass again. She closed her eyes, enjoying the salty ocean smell. Ald and her family lived in a small cottage, away from most other cities. It was about half a mile from a cliff that dropped off into the ocean. The drop off was not too steep, and the surface of the cliff was rough and jagged, making it climbable if necessary. Alda always loved to get away from the house so everyday she would walk the mile down to the cliff side, and sit looking out at the ocean. Alda was a smart bean too so she never sat too close to the edge, and always came prepared. Iceland was known for the birds there and you were guaranteed to see one almost every time you go outside, so every time Alda leaves the house, she takes bird seed with her.
Alda opened her eyes, to find herself back on her bed. She sat up glancing out the window, seeing the grey light of the city. Alda let out a sigh, "Just a dream." She sighed a small frown on her face "I miss Iceland".
Alda and her family all grew up in Iceland, and all of her family still lives there. She visits them often, when she gets the money, but she still wishes she lives, and it is her dream to one day go back. The lived in a small cottage surrounded by rolling hills and green grass, but close enough to the ocean so you could hear the waves crashing against the rocks. You could look outside and see ten different birds all right there, so close you could touch them. Alda grew to love the birds of Iceland, seeing them everyday became a part of her life, she would try to see how many different birds she could spot in a day, always keeping count, like a game she would play with herself. She had to move to New York when she was offered a job that she could not decline. She so eager to see the new world, the beautiful image of New York in her mind, but when she arrived she missed Iceland already. Instead of seeing rolling hills and waves crashing, she would see bright city lights and a dark smoggy sky. The streets were always busy and loud, the honking of horns and loud people talking. All you could hear at night in Iceland was the soft calls of birds as the talked to each other, of the faint sound to the waves reaching the shore.
Alda misses everything about her home land. The soft green grass, and the loud waves crashing on the cliff side. Seeing the puffins come to shore, and seeing the little baby puffins for the first time. She missed seeing the flocks of birds as the flew over head, of going on a picnic with her family through the hills. In a heartbeat, if she could she would go back to Iceland, her home. It is where she grew up and where she lived, her memories and life are there, and she would love to go back.

The wind in my ears, the ice in my fur, the snow in my nostrils, the feeling of hard stone under my feet. . . these are my mountains. This is my wind, my ice, my snow, my stone. This is my home.
Raven was born and raised in the remote, snowcapped mountains of Switzerland, a place she longs for with all her heart. As a teenager, her family moved away from the Swiss mountain ranges. However, Raven had never wanted to leave, despite the mountains' harsh environment. She was built for the snow, with her long, fluffy fur and dark coat to absorb heat.
Now, she can only dream of the snow, ice, and slopes which she once roamed.
My pelt keeps me warm, it is thick and made for the cold climate. Even when the ice gets stuck in it, I remain warm. My feet are fluffy to keep me from sinking into the deep snow, making my movements easier. I remember even from my childhood what the soft snow felt like, what the air tasted like, what the world looked like from way up high. Spectacular sweeping views of mountains and valleys and cliffs and mountain streams. . . I can almost see it now, if I just close my eyes. . .

Username:Hello, I'm MegaCherrio. I currently am a non-owner who owns one Kiamara and one 00E00 (a species created by Apple) and dedicate all my time and love to developing and expanding their personality and character, as well as drawing art, of course! I plan to be very active in the community and chat if I happen to win this dragon. Thanks so much for giving me the chance to try out for her.
Name: If I were to win this gorgeous girl, I would name her Ellsa (\el-sa\). It means "God's promise", but I didn't select the name for its meaning, but rather for the way it sounds and the way it feels on the dragon herself. I was planning on naming her Elsa, but the name was taken. I have permission from the owner to respell the name.
Gender:Personality in 5 words: { lost, mysterious, reserved, tempered, alone } I believe if you can sum up the personality of a character in fewer words, you can capture a better image of the character itself by choosing strong key words that can really mean a lot.
A single quirk:Ellsa takes everything very literally. Words only have one meaning to her ears.
Homeland:"I grew up in Finland," she started, her dark gray tail brushing over the ground as if she was painting a picture. Her accent was soft - light; it was washed over with what many would first take as a British accent. She avoided holding eye contact for too long. Her gorgeous dark fur lay silkily over her small-framed body.
"It was beautiful. The winters were rainy and dark, and the sun would only be out for a few hours a day. A-and, oh and the summers were so warm, and the lake by my home so calm a-nnd so blue." Her sparkling gray eyes seemed to capture a little bit of the water in it, glistening a gorgeous shade of ocean blue for but a second. Her voice was as clear and calm as the river she marveled about, and her cheeks blushed a little, a small smile coming over her soft lips. Her long, tufted dark ears lay calmly against her delicate head. "Kotka, Finland." she continued, after a moment of silence. Her lips read the city's name comfortably, her voice seeming to relax; slipping into the native tongue she had stored away. She concentrated on her feet, flexing her toes as to watch her sky blue nails glimmer in the dim light. "I remember going down to the Kymi river often, just to let the cold sink through my fur, sometimes." Her voice held a strange longing, almost a heart-broken cry for the land she now lost. "And in the winter," she started, breaking off abruptly. A couple seconds rolled by, and she focused on her breathing, letting herself feel her body rise and fall.
"A-and in the winter," she continued, her words sounding like nothing but mist in the air, "the snow would lay across the world so thick."
Her brow ruffled just a bit, her misty eyes suddenly full of emotion. Full of character.
"So beautiful." she whispered, her voice cracking on the last syllable. The words danced from her mouth and swirled in the air, the way the L's slipped from her lips, almost invisible to the air.
A single tear began to form in her strong, misty gray eyes.
And she smiled, straightening up a bit. Her figure seemed all the more mysterious when she turned her head away. The dragon shut her eyes, freeing the tear to rocket down her gently-sloping cheek. She remembered the rocks, the way they felt underneath her paw pads as she stood, her up proudly, fur rustling in the breeze. A light shower dotted her dark fur with glistening drops of rain. The air around her felt warm, and she felt the cage around her slowly crack open, clattering to the ground by her feet. -- and the waves piled up centuries of uncried tears, the cold misty spray splashing against her face.
Sharp silver eyes snapped open, and a dark head abruptly turned back forwards. She almost seemed ... lost -- in the shadows that threatened to creep up behind her, masking her face in its choking darkness.
"Hhave you ever been exiled," she paused, returning her gaze to meet yours. Her silver eyes burned a thousand shades of red. "from your own family -- because you were different?" Her words were sharp, and her bright blue tongue was clearly visible with the words she spat. "When your own father says you aren't his daughter. Because of one little mistake. When your own mother cannot look you in the eyes. Finland is beautiful. There are not enough words to describe the iced over lakes, the sparkling snow covering the ground, the glaciers standing high and proud like kings on the horizon. The air tastes like home, the sharp intake of coldness - crispness. --oh and in the summer, the midnight sun." the words came faster now, pouring out of her mouth like a waterfall of feelings, a waterfall of love. Almost as if someone had opened up a long-closed door to her heart. The dragon's voice softened as she spoke of her home. "Have you ever been outlawed by your own sister." the words seemed to crack, falling from her mouth like ice.
"When you don't know who to trust and where to go." her voice barley a whisper, she shook her head sadly. The icy, snowlands glistened in her eyes.
"Do I miss my homeland?" she asked quietly, her long, bat-like ears falling to her head loosely,
The delicate dragon sighed, and watched the seconds tick by in silence.
"Yes." she murmured. "Yes, I do."
Art:Click for full view. Art by myself, MegaCherrio. I always like to include one piece of art by myself because I think it shows a certain level of effort you can't show by only ordering art.
Click for full view. Art by Anima. This gorgeous piece was ordered on such a short notice by this wonderful artist. It is of the last paragraph in the "homeland" section, the part where Ellsa is caught up in her memories over the river.
