ryia is very energetic. she is the kind of DAM who has a very hard time standing still. she's finicky and is one who always needs space to move around. she doesn't like small spaces, and one thing she hates is trees or foliage because it just gets in her way. good thing there isn't a lot of that in the desert. she isn't the lazy, and likes to lie around type, ryia is almost always up and about.

name: Fiore Nel Deserto or "Flower In the Desert" (fluent in Italian). I really liked it because she reminds me of beauty coming from a place conceived as merciless. For example, the birds in the Amazon, they are so colorful, yet so used to living in a killing environment, they would make an eagle seem like a pigeon. Or a flower growing in an oasis, so beautiful and strong.

first thought came up to my mind was "snake". for me her stomach looks a little like pattern of snake scales and especially her more or less toxic orange eyes! so deep and thrilling. everytime i risk a look into her face i´m spellbounded. with the hinted smile and THIS eyes xD it´s absolutely fascinating! second reason is the beer mixture named snakebite. it´s a cider, mixed with a brown ale and cassis for topping. the color result of this mixture is near to her brownish parts and the white parts would be the head. last but not least, this name sounds great

welcome to snakebite´s little personality ref. snake is a wild and free living dam (like all dam´s i guess, but it sounds so good ). her life knows no borders, only autonomy. the privilege to crane her neck and hooves, during a breathtaking run at full speed, towards horizon as best as she can, with lungs feels like burning inside for exercise and bloated nostrils filled with divined air of the desert

horses are peaceful flight animals, every child knows that. but snake is rather less than more a flight animal. she´s dangerous, well-nigh a toxic character. enemies fears her hard hooves which shakes the earth like midsizes comets and her jaws which shoots up snake-like forwards. according to her opinion her path isnt paved with victims. more with disabused ones.

lionhearted - no matter how overpowering her rival is, you can be sure, she`ll be quite an inch ahead.

defensive - for that she is a valued member as a superior warrior in her herd. on the downside, the quality of being really aggressive is distinctive for snake. nearly everyone has already seen her dancing up and down with rage.

stubborn - when she wanna fits through a bottleneck, at least she would tries to change the laws of nature to gets her will.

smart & cool - in general she is to be second to none. neither physical nor psychical and she is to be clear about that fact. her interacting is fullfilled with easiness and it seems that snake does and says exactly the right things by nature. I know the fitting old saw: you´re acting like it´s snowing behind you.

hyped up - on the one hand she´s a dam bristles with energy by nature and on the other hand, snake tries to overacting her insecureness and true sensitive heart with this attitude. Outwardly many would give their right arm for this property. it semms to be confident and it is popular in groups. everytime she giggles and is joking around, snake is the centre of attention.

arrogant - without words xD

deep. deep in her soul and never been showed for others, there is a spark. her mind is at ease into this spark. a tiny amount of serenity and assurance. this spark is pureness and by nature for every horse. it´s to be at peace with the world and oneself.

undemanding - like every other horse she likes meantone temperatures, lush grass and fresh floating water. but it isnt that dramatically for her, if it´s raining big and cold raindrops on her head, streaming in her ears and nostrils during a more longer rainy period day for day. or if food is bare, snake is able to eat withering grass with similar appetite like more fresh grass. fresh water for desert inhabitants not grow on trees and is only available for a few days a year, for that it isn´t honorable noteworthy to mention that she isn´t afraid for stale water.

snake needs to feel secure. for example she sleeps so far in the middle of her herd as it is possible and would never displace a dam comes snuggling at night when she´s vulnerable. for her, her mother is the most sacred being walked the earth and god may bless the one who lays hands on her mum! she hates new areas where she doesnt know the ropes. at least she is a gregarious animal.
