Name: Annikki
Gender: Female
Poem:I'm not much of a lyricist, but here goes:
One step for Mother, warm and kind
As I turn my head to the stars
One step for Father, and soon I shall find
I'm circling back to the start

Another for sister, to see how she's grown
For she was just a babe when I left
And one for dear Grandmother, who has always known
By the time I return she'll be dead

Footsteps can lead but they also must follow
As I make my way down this road
But how can I come back to my bubble of sorrow
And return to what isn't my home?

Reluctant to leave, but it had to be done
For I could not remain there for ever
And a mother would not want to see the red blood
From her daughter. How could I have let her?

I let my guard down, let my grief take over
And picked up the knife with my paws
And did not scream as the blade dug into my shoulder
For I do not feel anymore

But I wish I'd had courage, to end it with speed
And not let them see my like this
My eye's full of madness, my heart of deceit
And the blood that I'd seemed to dismiss

I ran into the night, away from their eyes
With no concern, only pure shock
They don't care why I did it, but they care for my lies
And I walled myself up in the rock

I kept far away, to stop all the pain
And the hurt that I was to cause
But the things I have seen makes me glad I didn't stay
The adventures I've had, what I saw

The grass on my feet and the rain on my fur
Was the greatest moment of my life
I could clean off the blood and be free once more
But I still hold the memory of grief

For all lives have sadness, that cannot be changed
But through them my life has improved
I've been on adventures and seen all the world
And now I'm returning to you

I know you don't want me, nor did you back then
And I needed to leave, get away
Before I hurt you too, but now I'm back again
And I'm sorry, what more can I say?

But will you not let me in, will you not set me free
From the torment my conscience has caused
If I'm now not family then what more can I be?
Why is the door locked and windows barred?

Do you still think I'm mad, that I've turned to a monster?
Well FINE, I suppose that I have
And if I can't be with you then my heart grows darker
Until I can't change it. TOO BAD.

Yes I have changed, but the blade is the same
And this time my aim will be true
And with my last breath, this is what I claim
My life is over, because of you

Dear mother and father, I'm sorry
But think of the adventures I had
And although I am gone
And will never come home
I miss you.

I HOPE YOU ARE GLAD

Robotics and fashion,
They're both my passion.
Just take a look at my stunning earrings,
Pff, it seems like they'd fit kings.
And then I have gloves,
Which everyone loves.
Best of all, though, are my tail chains..
A wrench and a gear.
They represent my hobby, ya hear?
What I love most is robotics,
The screws and bolts.
Ready to hear of an adventure?
It's a real teeth clencher.

In the back of an alley at the dead of the night,
Something eerie was happening that didn't seem right.
I was out on a quest to get a new part,
To add to a robot that needed a heart.
My footsteps were quiet, my breath was stilled,
Worried that someone was going to be killed.
Turning the corner, and glancing around, my eyes told me there was nothing to be found.
The night before while scanning the internet,
I met someone who talked like everything was a threat.
They seemed distant and broken,
Shattered and torn, most likely misspoken.
The two of us, we agreed,
To meet up at twilight at this very address.
I knocked on the oak wood door,
and heard something walking over the floor.
As the gateway creaked open, I couldn't have spoken.

Before me a silhouette with dark spiky hair,
I couldn't believe what was standing there.
A pitch black cape to match their eyes,
Hidden under a web of lies.
It's voice crumbled and cracked,
But still, it spoke.
"It's you. Get in."
The entrance widened with another squeal,
So I stepped in, only to reveal
The green lamp on a small table,
A melting pot on the ground, but not a single cable.
The bright liquid bubbled, my eyes looking troubled.
I glanced around once more, no sign of a door...
Or the witch.

A thud on the floor as my heartbeat quickened, my stomach sickened.
Footsteps ticked across the wood planks.

And then a green dragon appeared, and all that I feared seemed to vanish.
The female smiled softly, handing over my scrap, and thus I was a much happier chap.
She insisted I paid none, but that wouldn't be any fun.
And so I placed in her paw, as she stared in awe...

At the fifty dollar bill resting in her claw.

Hope you liked reading my poem.
Until next time, babe~

      let's go on an adventure

Name:
Vandroŭku; Belarusian; "journey, voyage". She prefers Van as a nickname or, for those closest to her, Vannie.
Gender:
I must admit that I cannot see her as anything but a female.
Poem:

Frightening heights
Darkening lights
And as the bright cheery sun goes down
All around is deafening sound
The chopper's blades cut through the sky
Drowning out the thrill to fly
My heart is leaping up my chest
Soon I'll fall, like a bird from its nest
Vaulting, twisting, in the air
I'll be best of the best, if only I dare
I shift my pack, my life's on the line
My gaze fixes on the moon, looking for a sign
I gear myself towards the edge at last
Remembering all of the good times past
A familiar bark sounds in my ear:
"You've been ready forever, now get out of here!"
So with a look backwards at kith and kin,
I drop from the 'copter....and let my adventure begin!

    Name: Illumina
    Gender: Female
    Poem:
    Alone
    --
For once, I was alone. Nothing else, nothing more. Alone.
I watched as the windows shook, hearing the wind whistle,
as if they were trying to yell at me, tell me what I did wrong.

Looking out, looking around, I hear a sudden voice, crying out to me
No more! No more! For there is no more!
Confused, I look around and about.
For I see nothing, but the sound keeps coming.

No more! No more! For there is no more!
It comes, once again, and there sits a bird.
On top of my wardrobe, on top of the stone.
‘Look! Look!’ I cry to myself. ‘it’s nothing more than a old crying crow.’
‘What are you doing old dark blackened bird?’
No more! No more! For there is no more!

For once, I feel a pull in my gut,
pulling so fierce that I can’t take it.
I watch as the crow flutters it’s wings,
I watch as the crow lifts in the air.

Flying past me, flying so fast,
    the wind is bellowing,
    the world is spinning
and all I hear through the big giant stone
is a big eerie chill singing
    Forever alone!

Though I did not believe this,
I ran outside, tripping on something
    which was clearly a bliss.
Clunking on the ground, as much as it seemed,
I suddenly realized that this was nothing
more, nothing less than a dream.

Name:
Avalon
Gender:
Female
Poem:
Unraveled
Ava Jumps from cloud to cloud
All her troubles gone.
Ava leaps over rivers and creeks
She has never felt more free

She doesn't Need a Giant Beanstalk to have an Adventure,
or a Knight to be her sir,
All she needs is her Fantasies.
She can find herself in a pair of ski's Gliding over the soft Austrian Snow
Or In a Small french cafe, sitting across from her beau.
But in the end she must wake up from her illusion,
Like a bullet from a gun
All her dreams are done.
Ava Wakes up to the sound of her clock,
Still in shock From her Travels and how they unraveled .
