Congrats Whisky! What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.
This one will be somewhat quick~
All you have to do is put a name, gender, and tell a story in poem form about an adventure the dragon went on.
There is no size limit, it can be short or long, whatever inspires you.
You may pretty up your form, but no extras.
This contest will be over by 12:00 AM EST on Monday. (The 13th)
Though, only if needed, I might extend. It's not supposed to be a long contest but I understand that writing takes inspiration.

Stars guide my journey thus, traveling by their light without a fuss,
For the stars so bright shed their light, and I was safe during the night,
I learned to walk their forgotten paths,on quests long since past,
Their ways had been neglected, for their song did not last,
To the ears of many who wander this Earth, they'd been deaf since their birth,
But I taught myself to sing, so maybe they can look back at me,
And see that I am listening, and wanting to be all I can be,
Starlight so Bright I needn't fight the fright,
For the stars care for me, when the sun abandons me,
Clouds blew in from the west, and I knew to be my best,
Storms brew in the sky, darkening before it's time,
I sat and waited for the stars to play, but the storm had committed a crime,
For the stars had vanished beneath their shadowy wings, and I became frightened of the scary things,
Lost I wandered the wilderness, Not knowing what to do,
Terrified, horrified, the stars were not there for me,
So how could I be the best I could ever be?
Wind ripped at my pelt, inspiring fear that I surely felt,
It hit me like pain, a blow had been dealt,
I ran frightened into the howling trees, Hoping against hope the thunder did not get me,
Heart hammered in my chest surging through my blood, I feared the ground would crack and take me down in a flood,
Rain pelted upon my brow tugging at my fur, I ran until my path was suddenly deterred,
Lightning flashed across the sky widening my eyes, crackling light they hadn't abandoned me to my surprise,
For the lightning was my guiding stars whispering words of wisdom, I needn't fear the grumbling thunder because I had my freedom,
To find the light within myself and treat it with care, I had only myself to really truly scare,
To those who fear the crackle and the thunder I do laugh, I say to them such fears are just daft,
For the wicked storm flying over head is part of the world's design, and you must learn you will be fine,
You decide yourself what is scary and what is not, so don't let any fear take hold and make you rot,
The stars watch over me and I shall remember it to this day, they speak to me and I always hear what they have to say,
I am me and I will be the best I can be!

:: Tale of the Beast Master! ::
Come one! Come All!
Let me tell you the tale of a great fall!
Once upon a time, there was beast.
Lonely and beat,
He made a feast.
Out of critters small and foolish,
He became rule.
Over time,
His heart became cold and cruel.
And he made a crime.
Locking himself in his own castle,
he waited for thousand of years.
Waiting for someone,
who dare not fear him.
Within Time later,
his wait was over.
A young dragon,
who knew nothing of pain.
She seeked his castle.
Upon finding it, the beast didn't not want her.
And tried to scare her away.
But the girl was brave.
And so she stayed.
The Beast, confused, knew her more and more.
Finding the story of her life, he never thought,
that a mere child would give him warmth.
His heart was unfrozen, and wasn't fazes on time.
Letting the child stay, he smiled.
And saying a sentence.
He sealed his faith with her.
"Come with me, my dear. And together, we shall get better."

Poem:
Crashing lights of misty wind,
In a harsh, and unwilling trend,
Over grains of dark pink sand,
Covering trails left by man.
Crawling shells along paths,
Digging claws in sandy baths,
Little creatures running within,
Crabs glowing their newly shed skin.
Shimmering orb up in the sky,
Singing feathers soaring high,
Shadows following every move,
Traveling souls to disapprove.
Colored structures laying still,
Too the others play at will,
Tykes and Grown among the crowd,
But still silence within the loud.
Peace and beauty all placed here,
Where outside worries disappear,
Mother Nature close at reach,
Tis Nyla's view of the Beach.

Inspired by
"Kiki's delivery service"Name: Kiki
Gender: Female
Poem
From the start, Kiki couldn't be held down
The gleam in her eye worried her family
The young bean had far to great aspirations
She wanted far to much then what her family could provide
She wanted the world to rest in her paws
No land left untouched by her claws
A day
Sun high
Dew on the grass
Kiki knew today was special
Black dressed clinging to her form
Bag strapped to her waist
And a small red bow tied around
And a thin yet plush cat sitting in the bag.
"Are you sure Honey?"
"There are going to be a lot of people."
Words that had scared her before
But not this time.
She was ready.
They sent her off.
Worried as could be.
So many new faces
Characters she's never seen before.
Flowing designs
Dynamic personas
All of it was magnificent
And then there was her
Far to simple for the colorful crowd
In corner she sat
A bit away from the massing crowd
Those posing for shoots
And those far to in character for their own good
Sat little Kiki
The stuffed jiji doll in her paws.
"It's okay jiji, maybe we can find a new town"
Her voice was filled with false hope
Time passed
Faces changed
And none noticed the bean in the corner
Dozing off
Head propped against the wall
A soft mew
Indigo eyes fluttered open
The Crowds were leaving
The sun just kissing the sky goodnight on the horizon
A mew again, louder though
Sleeping leaving her eyes, she noticed the small cat
Small, black fur, and bright, wide eyes.
"Hi Jiji"

Name: Nocrum (originating from the word Night boy in latin: Noctem puerum)
Gender: M
Poem:
Like a star, we will shine.
Like a comet we will fly.
Like the world, we will turn for a while.
You and i, You and i.
You and i, you and i.
You and i,
Like a constellation we will stick.
Like time we will tick.
Like Water we will flow.
You and i, You and i.
You and i, you and i.
You and i,
Like the sun we are one.
Like the moon, we feel the sun.
Like the galaxy we stir.
Like the ocean, we crash.
Like the Storm, we fight
Like the flock we will always be one.
You and i.

Poem:
(The poem is by me:)
Running through the forest,
Looking for a
brontosaurus.
Maybe behind the tree,
There will be a
bee.
Bending down to inspect,
A tiny
insect.
I hear a little scree,
to see a
sloth looking back at me.
As I start to turn back,
I think I see a
black bat.
I hear the small uh,
I come closer to find an
alpaca.

Name: Violet
Gender: Female
Poem:
The flowers so rich
As the crumble beneath my paw
Then the cool water flowing through the petals
Paint, that is what it makes
A thick paint brush is its master
As soon as it hits the canvas..
Boom! colors, light, and life
Flowing through the cracks and into the new dimension
The cool night breeze seeping through my fur
The stokes of the soft bristles bending endlessly
The inspiration of the mid summer night
The clouds floating over the moon
And all in sweet bliss
My mind carried me away to a new place
Filled with wonder filled with grace
The wind smelled like flowers
The rich soil grainy and futile
I was looking out over a small town
Bustling with life
No signs of strife
A very happy life
The children laughing and playing with glee
As a teen bean whistled and played with his keys
I close my eyes and open them again
To find I have been transported
Now I was on a hill over a prairie
Fields stretching as far as the eye could see
The only noise the breeze lapping against my fur
Workers walking along the rows of dirt
Prepping the fields for winter come
I blink only for a Nano second and in am back
To the deck of my house the painting nearly complete
On last piece I need
But where to now?
Where shall I go?
Only my imagination knows that

Gender:Female
Poem:
Only at night does she escape out her window
Down the wall hiding in the meadow
She fears nothing in the night
For none of it gives her any fright
She creeps slowly not to startle the creatures
Only then would they show with their mysterious features
Her eyes gleam with excitement
For she crosses the stream
No turning back for she has come to watch
From her perch made from thick cloth
The moon illuminated her fur in the night
Making her quite a sight
Her eyes traveled below
To uphold the sight of the forest aglow
The pale moon light washed the land in white
She smiled watching the birds flit across the air
The moon being granting them the glow in fair
For not all wanted such beauty
Night crawlers hid being black and sooty
For they dislike the light of the pale moon
She peered catching a glimpse of what she sought
A white moth
With wings that were like glass
Too fragile to touch alas
She sprang down into the growth
For she made an oath
She pulled out a jar and opened it
This was a nerve racking, thing just a bit
Her hands trembled knowing she could kill it
But she shouldn’t, and wouldn’t
With one swift move it was in the jar
She could breathe again and air didn’t feel like tar
Her legs carried her back to her home
To hide away the moth until morning showed

Shizaka
Gender:

Poem:
The young little bean,
tilted his head at his mother who licked him gently,
on the head, tears burning her eyes.
A mother never wants to give up her child,
but this was something she had to do.
The young bean watched as his mother walked away,
squealing for her to come back.
The bean whom is now age 16,
padded toward the place he had once called home,
his ears rested back on his head.
Tears filled his eyes as he sat there,
remembering, remembering his mother leaving him.
The young male bean,
is now all alone.
