Apple is a sweetheart whose sweet heart is big enough to hold all those that make the slightest effort to make friends with her. She is also very independent as is shown when she boldy makes friends with humankind, an unusual move for dragons in the world she inhabits. Now, while she is independent and caring, Apple tends to be rather skittish as sudden movements startle her and strange, unfriendly people will cause her to skitter off, usually into a pocket of a friendly person nearby. And unfortunately for the dear, skittish and autonomous Apple, she is easily distracted and very curious about the world around her. This mixture of personality can sometimes be hilarious to observe or else endangering to her friends. However, clever little Apple is always able to think of a way out of the scrape she’s gotten herself and friends into and always does her best to make up for it afterwards.

First of all, she is absolutely adorable: her design is simple
and yet the pink is used just enough to create a sweet aura
around Apple's chocolaty brown body. Her's is one of my
absolute favorite teacup dragon designs.

However, I also adore the character I want to make her into
so badly. I have so wanted to take an apple blossom teacup
dragon home with me a few times now so that my character,
Folletta, could have a travelling companion that would be not
only entertaining, but helpful.

I believe the two of them would be perfect together, Folletta's
practical, calm nature balancing out Apple's jumpy, curious
personality. It would make me so happy to see them together,
but as always, I understand if this cannot be.

❁ Apple likes hiding in soft, warm places like pockets,
---bed sheets, & purses

❁ Apple does not enjoy being woken up. She will
---occasionally snap at the fingers of the one who is
---trying to wake her up. She will, sometimes, feel guilty
---about snapping and be super sweet to the person she
---nipped to make up to it. Otherwise she acts like she
---hasn't done anything wrong and will even act offended
---around the person who dared wake her up

❁ Apple doesn't like flying very much. She'll use her wings
---to jump from branch to branch, or shoulder to shoulder
---as the case may be so as to get closer to objects or
---persons she likes. She will fly if it is to show off her
---beautiful wings or to make sure people see her and
---know that she is there

❁ Apple is definitely an attention seeker


❁ Folletta sometimes finds random shiny or sparkly
---objects hoarded in her pockets because of Apple. This
---sometimes includes coins, either from Folletta's purse
---or even from the purses of others nearby. This has
---occasionally caused problems

❁ Since finding Folletta, Apple hasn't gone more than
---twenty feet from her companion's side


❁ Apple doesn't necessarily always listen to Folletta's orders.
---Apple does what she feels like doing when she feels like

❁ Apple's favorite smell is that of apples; it makes her
---think of the place where she was born

❁ Apple is easily embarrassed, but she tries to hide it which
---makes it even more amusing to her companions

---things and hiding them, but she always forgets where
---she's hidden them and so they get thrown out or used
---whenever Folletta finds them again

Username: Whiskey Lullaby
Name: Pyrus Coronaria.
Name meaning: That of which, is the scientific name of the Cherry Blossom tree itself. Normally, the species name is lower case, but I think it makes as the perfect name for her. I would call her 'Pyrus' for short <3
Personality in 6 sentences: 1. Pyrus is as sweet as the scent of her flowers surrounding her; she's shy, and can't speak as she is mute, but she loves to help you in any way she can. 2. Pyrus is good with other 'teacups' as she is very patient, but won't tolerate rudeness from others; She'll treat you with kindness and good hospitality as long as you do the same. 3. If not, her feelings get hurt an she runs else where to comfort herself; She often goes to a nearby stream to listen to the sweet humming of the water, and play with the little animals around her. 4. Pyrus isn't anti-social, but she has a hard time communicating with others; many often get frustrated with her being mute, so the often expresses her feelings with nods and shakes of the head, or twitches of the tail. 5. Pyrus has also adapted to writing down her thoughts to let others know her actual comments rather than settling with 'approving nods', and 'disapproving shakes.' 6. Pyrus also hopes to someday find a mate for life, one who doesn't get frustrated with her muteness; as for now, it has remained impossiable, though she won't give up yet.

Name Meaning: [word count: 36/50]
Sindarin "nim" (pale) + Sindarin "loth" (blossom) + Sindarin/Quenya feminine name suffix "-iel" Basically, Elvish for "pale blossom maid," or just "pale blossom." I chose this for her because it suits both her appearance and her personality.

Nim is quite the opposite of her friend, Summer, the Birch Teacup Dragon - while Summer is wild and out-there, Nim tends to be a bit more timid and mild, saying little and thinking much. You'd expect her personality to be just like Summer's, seeing as they more or less grew up as sisters, but Nim is so different that it's hard to believe they've ever met. Nim is shy and quiet mostly just around those she isn't well-acquainted with, but around those she knows better or simply trusts because she feels that they are trustworthy - and her intuition has not failed her yet - she is much more vibrant, actually speaking in whole sentences and laughing her feathers off. She's also quite romantic, and often daydreams of "Teacup Charming" coming and sweeping her off her paws, rescuing her from some terrible danger, to fly her away to some faraway orchard where they will live happily ever after - though her daydreams are just a bit more realistic than your typical fairytale, just for the record. Nim, when Summer has dragged to some loathsome social gathering, often likes to amuse herself by studying dragons' characters, writing up "sketches" of their personalities, so to speak, in her mind - it is a very interesting thing to do when one wishes to pass the time, and Nim is always trying to get Summer to try it so they can talk about it and compare "sketches." In just a bunch of words, I would describe Nam as an anti-social, careful to trust, romantic dreamer with a more fun side that comes out around friends.
