Name: Ali, meaning wings in Italian.
Gender: Female
Tell me a bit about her: Ali is a sweet bird that loves attention. She learns quickly, liking to please her owner and get attention by doing those tricks. She can be a bit pesky, but also will do some pretty funny things when attempting to gain attention. She's very energetic, and can get around places pretty fast.
Best Trick: Ali's best trick is probably her jumping from cabinet to cabinet looking for her food, and she's perfected it, sometimes doing it different ways as well.
Fear: Heights, flying long distance
Fears Affect...: Ali fears heights, and doesn't like flying. Sometimes she'll fly very close to the ground, but will quickly land.
Favorite Food: Ali's favorite food is a special type of bird seed. No matter where you put it, she'll find a way to get it. But it's good to use when teaching her tricks.
Getting Around: Since Ali doesn't fly most of the time, she's found a few other ways to get around. Sometimes, instead of walking, she'll hop with her wings spread out to that it'll carry her farther. And to replace higher flying, she climbs like a monkey. Up, down, almost anywhere she can, and she'll open cabinets with her beak, the main way she can always get her favorite food. She scales by gripping with her feet and "walking" up whatever she is on.
Favorite Toy: Ali's favorite toy is, for some reason, the radio. Turn it on and she'll do something that people guess is her way of dancing. She dances in different ways to each song, and can bring a lot of laughs. Also, in her own funny way, she will sing along too.

♫ Name: Isaura (ee-sor-uh) is this little one's name. The name is of Greek origins and the name is said to mean "soft air". A perfect name for a bird if I say so myself!
♪ Gender: ♫ Tell me a bit about her:Isaura loves being around others. You see like any other Zebra Finch, Isaura loves having companions. Whether it be her human or the other family pets, this little one wants to join in on the action. Her cage door is often left open so she can escape when she needs to and is free to fly around the ranch house. One of her favorite places in the house is the kitchen. She watches over her human as she prepares the food and is known to "beg" for scraps. (Her favorite treat is mashed hard boiled eggs with a little bit of lettuce!) Isaura also enjoys having her feathers cleaned; however, due to something that has happened in her past she hates having her feet touched. This makes trimming her nails a bit of a problem, but with a bribe of half a grape she usually lets it get done.

Gender: Female
Tell me a bit about her:
Patience is a quiet, shy little finch. You could never guess this by looking at her; she chirps almost constantly, fluttering from perch to prech and singing loudly. She does this all for show, however; she cares deeply about her friends and family, and she doesn't want them to worry about her. However, Patience's heart broke after, at the young age of 7 months, her grandmother passed. She barely had time to say goodbye before the elderly woman opened the cage door and, with a sad sigh, lifted her grandmother away. Patience doesn't understand why she is at the rescue. Although she likes it well enough, as all the caretakers are kind, and she is given toys and treats regularly. She doesn't know why the rest of her friends couldn't come with her, and she misses them all, especially the Yellow-faced parrotlets that lived in the cage next to her.

Tell me a bit about her: Aiko is a intelligent young female bird and is eager to please. At first encounter she is a little bit skittish and shy,but when you interact with her and take time to notice her beauty;she will open up to you immediately. Aiko enjoys to spend most of her time interacting with humans and playing with toys that lie at the bottom of her cage. She seems to have no interest in other birds because of bad experience with her previous owner.Because of lack of attention previously she'd constantly pull out her feathers. However, she has fully recovered from feather plucking and does not touch them unless grooming. She enjoys to be showered in attention and dislikes very much being left alone. Her favorite foods are: cuttle bone, fresh fruits, and sun seeds. She honestly can care less for other foods. Ever since she's gotten her birdie jungle gym she's been completely addicted to it.She refuses to stay off of it ; well..at least it provides her hours of fun and lots of exercise.Which is essential for a general bird. She tends to avoid birds because they seem like a threat to her.She will only open up to very few birds.Aiko despises getting her wings clipped or wearing bird harnesses. They bother her delicate feathers and are really irritating and bulky. It also puts too much weight on her when she walks. Aiko takes a liking in being above humans and other animals. That way, they pose no threat to her.
Basic known commands: Aiko is a very stubborn bird ; although she is very stubborn, she tends to enjoy being taught commands. She knows the simplest commands such as 'step up' onto higher perches. However, she is quite uncomfortable with step down. She cannot speak,as only larger birds are required for that process. She has also been trained to put a tiny small plush ball in a mini basket hoop.Other then that, she is unable to do other commands because of her small size.
Stories:
It was a winter evening when the elderly lady heard a knock. She Jerked back surprised but eagerly ran up to the door. She peeked out the window and sighed. There stood two sheriffs; they were an obvious member of the ASCPA. She looked back at the existing birds and opened the door. The sheriffs welcomed themselves in without a word. They presented the bird cages to the lady and explained what they were going to do.''You-you can't take away my beloved animals that i have cherished and spent a lot of time and money dedicating my life towards them!'' she pouted and was outraged on the arrangements. The sheriffs shook their head and ignored the stubborn lady. They headed towards the room and put in two birds per cage. Then, they picked up a rather different type of bird. She had different colorization then any of the birds had.She was one of a kind..a original. The man picked her up and repeated ''Aiko...Aiko..it's suited for you'' he said smiling. Aiko was frightened and struggled to get out of his grasp. It was too late; she was thrown in the cage like a rag doll and was taken to a unfamiliar place. The building was very large and firm and Aiko was amazed about these new smells and sights. She was then taken into the examination room which she despised the constant touching and shots. She'd try to make herself look big,but it was vain.Shortly she was tossed into another cage with her fate undetermined.Who would adopt her and safe her? That, was unknown. All the scents and sights were unfamiliar. She'd often see large four legged animals that had made quite awkward noises such as meowing and barking. As the time would pass she would often play with her cage-mates.They often hung out on a large bulky perch below her,but she preferred to be higher up in a larger more secure perch. So it was that day that she was organized to be 'Spotlight of the week'.(Which is basically the highlight adopt for that current week.) She was taken into a new enclosure..only she was alone. Poor Aiko would cling to the back of her cage for dear life as faces took a good cold stare at her. Aiko despised all of this attention.Young children would furiously tap at the cage bars as Aiko would frightenly continue to resume to her normal activities.Until it was that one person that stood out from her the most.It was a young lady with fair hair and very light skin..could this really be the one? Pacing back and forth and bobbing her head up and down, she could feel the excitement in herself.Could this really be the one that she was waiting for?

congrats c;
I shall never understand how people always say 'they were knocking on death's door'. if death truly was a house shouldn't it have a window? a window should satisfy it's needs, for it shall look upon the houses from the highest corner and glare at his next victim, wondering of how he should kill them, as not all can die one simple way; this world is coated in many ways of death. so why should he await for his feast to knock at his gloomy house, when he can strike them to their doom within seconds out of his window?
