How did s/he get those scars?: Raven got those scars when he was a young makoatl and got caught in some fishing line that fishermen had put out. He thrashed and thrashed in the lines - trying to free himself - and sliced through his skin in the process. By the time the fisherman found him to let him free, he was a bloody mess. Most of the wounds healed, but he did grow up with some scars after the terrifying encounter.

How did s/he get those scars?: Bruno was swimming in the pacific ocean one day, and a large pirate ship was coming past. He was whirled up in the water, his body getting taken up to the ships bottom. He was bashed up against the bottom from the strong forces of the propeller, whirling the water around. He broke his leg, and then scars started to form on him. Bruno never bothered to get rid of them because it is a memory that he will never be able to forget.

Mako Name: Cheveyo, a Native American Hopi name meaning "spirit warrior".
Gender: Male. I simply couldn't see him as anything else.
How did s/he get those scars?: In my form for my oldest Mako, Alaric, I mentioned Alaric joining a war. I imagine that Cheveyo earned his scars fighting in the war, trying to protect his comrades, but mainly the one who had saved his life countless times before - Alaric. He got the scars when he was captured by the enemy, and tormented brutally in order to get his team's whereabouts. Luckily for the young Mako, Alaric rushed in, like an angel from heaven, and saved the younger, giving him a stern warning not to stray too far from his side ever again. After that brush with death, Cheveyo fought bravely and valiantly, never again taking the war as a joke. In the end, he came out victorious in the war, and went home a hero. Ever since the war, he's stayed beside his buddy/savior, Alaric, in order to make sure the old coot didn't do anything stupid to get himself killed.

How did s/he get those scars?: Harli got those scars performing one of his extreme stunts. Being a stunt-artist, he was a professional in that area, but things happen. One day, there was a miscalculation on his side of things and the stunt went awry. He was lucky to escape with only a few injuries and nothing fatal, but the scars are a constant reminder of that day.

How did he get those scars?: He enjoys a good fight and knows sometimes a fight can go wrong, he learned how badly when he was a little youger. He picked a fight an older Mako and was given those scars. Needless to say he doesn't pick fights anymore though he does play rough -when he does play.
