I thought that would me a good name for her because foxes are usually very timid and shy. Vixen on the other hand is the exact opposite!

Hi!

Dog-Trainer here, and I first just want to congratulate you on making such a stunning mare. I have loved her for a while and I am really going for it in this form, so to speak.
So, I guess you want to hear more about Vixen, hey? Well, I should start by mentioning her show name. It was a hard choice - I thought 'Foxy Lady' but it didn't suit her personality. But then I thought - why does she need a show name? I personally think Vixen is a showy name anyway, so there it stands. So yes - Vixen's show name is indeed, Vixen.
She is a loyal mare, rather large due to her being a Friesan cross. I have never found out what she is exactly crossed with, but I suspect it's something beautiful.
Her personality is a strange one. She is playful, almost puppy like, and she careers around the paddock without a care in the world, the suns rays sweeping across her dappled bay dun fur, almost like she is a form of nature - an Autumn leaf blowing gently in the breeze or a snow flake cascading down in Winter.
Despite her happy, almost immature behaviour in the paddock she is totally different when brought in. She is an absolute angel to groom and her stable manners are very good. She is an absolute school master when ridden, and her flowing gates and scopey jump tend to win the judges at shows.
She is also a very driven mare - she likes to achieve goals, and is incredibly intellingent. She seems to think that anything is possible, and tries very hard in whatever task she is set, which makes her hard to keep happy and at times her faces seems dull, until you give her something to do.
I have done some extra's for her, and i'll start with a very short story I wrote of her in the paddock:
I rubbed my numb hands together in a bid to warm them slightly, the Winter air biting down on me. My feet crunched on the snow, which crackled under foot. I waded forward through the blizzard, trying to see in front of me.
I soon arrived at Vixen's paddock, where, at first, I actually thought she was being sensible like Faith, Champion and my other horses and ponies where, huddled together. But no - what a surprise - she was down at the other end of the paddock, frolicking about, her tail billowing in the wind. She was galloping, bucking and quite obviously enjoying this freezing weather. Supposedly she had evaded one of the stable hand's grip again earlier as she was not wearing a rug as the others where. I stood and watched for a minute or two, before getting cold and getting a bit annoyed by the other horses digging around in my pockets for a tasty morsel - they would probably find and old crumbly sugar lump or two down in there. Pushing Jigsaw - the smallest of the horses - out of my way, I began to walk towards Vixen. As usual, she cantered off gleefully in the other direction, but I was already doing what I always have to do. Ignoring the other horses, I turned sideways to the rambunctious mare, staring at the ground, making sure not to make any eye contact. I began to hum under my breath, and I could feel her beginning to get curious. As she took a step towards me, I took a step away, confusing her slightly. A few more steps and she became bored of the frustrating game, and trotted over. I patted her on her neck and slipped her headcollar on. I caught Marble and Chance at the same time and made my way out of the paddock, making sure to give the rest of the horses a pat. I opened the gate, and expertly shoved Prince back as he tried to get out of the field. I rolled my eyes '' Maybe next time, Princey boy '' I said, before locking the gate and taking the horses back down the yard.
