What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?: Well Noelle can't choose just one thing. So she'd say Christmas activities. Like decorating the Christmas tree, making gingerbread houses and singing Christmas carols. She loves getting into the spirit everyday. She plans and activity each day counting down to Christmas, like her own advent calender Sometimes she has to start right after Thanksgiving. Yes, she knows her favorite thing should be giving back and being thankful. But Noelle gets too caught up and forgets about others. So every couple years, if Noelle has anything she doesn't need anymore, she donates it and that does make her feel warm and fuzzy inside, for at least a day or two. But then she gets caught up again. Christmas spirit really makes her happy and has to be her favorite thing.

Nutcrackers.
Dec loves assembling his Nutcracker Army.He has been hording them since he was a baby.He knows he cant grow up and have kids of his own,so he treats his Nutcrackers like children.The night before Christmas,he polishes each one.Then,he starts putting them in a glass cabinet that's rigged with security alarms.He has about 100,000 Nutcrackers,but manages to set them all up in one night.Every year,he gets 10 more to add to his army.His goal is one million.He thinks of himself as Nutcracker Santa,because Santa delivers millions of toys in one night,and he sets up 100,000 Nutcrackers in one night.Then,on Christmas morning,he actually feeds the Nutcrackers.He feeds them cookies that have no nuts in them.He thinks the Nutcrackers would be cannibals because they are made out of wood and most nuts come from trees.Weird,yes,but its Dec's way of life.His most prized Nutcracker is Jingle.He found Jingle in a pile of trash by the side of the road.He is special to Dec because he is missing his feet.Yes,though Jingle cant stand up,he is still Dec's baby.

What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?:
Tinsel's favorite thing about the holidays is her family's tradition of instead of getting a 'fake' tree, they go out into the bugs and cut their own down. Tinsel enjoys picking the perfect tree to cut down, of course she can only find the perfect tree after looking at over a hundred others. Once they've cut it down, they take it back to their house and then they all carry it in the house and set it in its stand. Then they all run downstairs to grab all the lights and ornaments and start decorating it, before long the tree is filled with memories and laughter. And after it's all decorated, Tinsel and her family all sit down around the fireplace and drink hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped creme.

I would name her Kochava. This name means Star in Hebrew. I chose Hebrew, because it is a Jewish language and Jesus, who's birth is what Christmas celebrates, was Jewish. I picked the name meaning star because of the bright star that guided the shepherds and the wise men to the stable where Jesus was born. Her nickname is Kocha, as her name is quite long winded.





I think that this bean would be female. I think it's the eyes and the way the color contrasts with the fur, that makes them seem very feminine, very light and soft.





While Kochava loves the holiday spirit, decorating the tree, singing carols and all sorts, what she loves the most about Christmas, is sitting down, on a sofa with all of her friends, curling up and watching a good old cheesy Christmas film! She loves them, she thinks they are beautifully emotional and encourage holiday cheer in everyone.
This started when she was a child. Her best friend said that she had bought a DVD of a film called 'It's a Wonderful Life!' and they watched it together on Christmas Eve, and ended up sobbing buckets into each others shoulder. Kochava thought it was such a beautiful film, with such a wonderful story as it followed its course. She felt herself go through many a multitude of emotions while watching it and when it ended, she felt inspired by it. Christmas has always been her favourite time of year, and the films make her feel so Christmassy. The next year, she tried out some other films, and her favourites are Elf, Home Alone, A Nightmare Before Christmas and of course, It's a Wonderful Life.
She likes Elf, because she thinks it is incredibly funny, and she remembers wanting to live like that as a child, eating nothing but sweets, knowing Santa Claus and making her way in the world anyway. She loves all the comedy pulled of by the man who plays Buddy, and can never stop laughing at certain points.
Home Alone, she also found funny, and somehow, ridiculous, because it is so unlikely that that could ever happen. She loves the plot and loves the ending, she finds it funny, but sweet at the same time.
A Nightmare Before Christmas is a bit of a different Christmas film, as it does focus a lot around the monsters of Halloween, trying to enforce their ways of Halloween, onto Christmas. They don't understand anything other than their own way until the end, which is why Kochava likes it. The ending shows that no matter who you are, what you are or what you believe, Christmas can be a time for everybody to enjoy together. She loves the way it can, in a twisted way, inspire Christmas spirit in people.
The interesting thing is that Kochava isn't, particularly, a big film watcher outside of Christmas. It just doesn't really appeal to her much and you'll be lucky if you see her going once in a year to the cinema. She thinks that normal films are just pointless entertainment, they don't really have a reason except to entertain. She feels that, unless a film has a really good message or plot, it's basically useless. The reason Kochava feels differently about Christmas films, is that they can be so emotionally powerful, they can make a depressed person feel happy, even in a glimpse, bring broken families together and, like 'It's a Wonderful Life', it can even save the lives of those people most vulnerable. This is why Kochava truly loves Christmas Films.

What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?: Elf's favourite thing to do is spend time with her family, whether it is putting up the tree or watching a film together. You will often find her obsessing over the fact that this time of year is about family and being together, this makes everyone else stress a bit whenever they are heard to do something - usually not very important.

Their favourite thing to do as a family is definitely the tree. They sing carols on the way and make to getting their real tree, then they get the silver glitter and fake snow. It's always funny when it ends up all over their noses. Then it's serious, tinsel, baubles, streamers, lights and jingle bells. The best bit has to be the star. Generally Elf will put the star on, but occassionally give others a turn. As soon as that is done, there is more family time, which is always the best bit. Alyvia usually watches a few christmas films with a hot chocolate before they turn the tree lights on.

Bauble's favourite thing to do is to go down to the beach and have her Christmas lunch there,
along with her friends. She loves building sandcastles and sand turtles, and eating the
different foods that her friends have made. Bauble also loves to play Marco Polo in the

What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?:
Tashia love just about everything in the holidays, but she can't help herself when it comes to christmas tree hunting. Or as Tashia calls it teasingly "A delightful holiday romp." She never invites friends to come to the hunt, but she and her family go every year, and it's her favorite thing ever. They'll look around, and point out all the trees they like, put little red ribbons on them so they can come back later. Every kid gets five ribbons to tag all their trees. And being the obsessive scrapbooker Tashia is, she'll always take the two traditional pictures - one with the whole family cutting down the tree, and another one with her finding the most utterly ridiculous tree that she can find, and her holding a saw to it beaming, dying of laughter. It's just a magical time that has never changed with age, she had fun doing it when she was 8, and now as a fifteen year old, it's still a beautiful few hours. The wet paths muddy paths to slip on, and looking for newts in the wet leaves underneath the biggest trees. Just the smell of the moist air, and the curling fog around the paths on those special foggy days; it's like having a dream of a perfect place, but once a year they get to go.
And afterwards they all get a steaming paper cup of apple cider and a small candy cane - could she ask for anything more?

What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?: Holly's favorite thing about the Holidays is decorating the house with pretty decorations and sparkly lights. Decorating is very fun and exciting to her and at the end if the day she loves to look outside and see all the work she has done. She has when she sees are the lights, she feels like she's in a winter fairy land.
