What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Yup, yup, yup, I'm Poinsettia. Poinsettias are these huge red flowers that people put around their house during the holidays, and I love, love, love, them!

I decided I would write this from Poinsettia's point of view so you could see a bit more about her personality, she's a cheery little bean so it was a very fun piece to write.

My favorite part about the holidays, oh that's a hard one because I love the holidays so much, but my absolute favorite thing about the holidays has to be cooking the holiday dinner with my family. We always start very early in the mourning so we will be able to get everything cooked and ready by dinner time. My whole family makes a kind of workshop in the kitchen, everyone has one dish that they work on. To me it makes the dinner so much more special to everyone when we made it together. After spending one very long day in the hot kitchen we all sit down around the table and just look at all the amazing things we made together. After just admiring our work we go around the table and say one thing that we were thankful for, or something we like about someone else. Then we eat of course! The food is always delicious and has each person's special touch. One person may add a little cinnamon, or maybe an extra pinch of salt, once someone even put brown sugar in the pumpkin pie! At the end of the night everyone is full, happy, and tired, and before anyone leaves to go home we all watch my absolute favorite Christmas movie, Miracle on 34th Street. The Holidays are such a wonderful time of year, but this has to be my favorite part.

If Destiny had to pick a favorite thing about the holidays it would be making holiday cards for those who are injured or sick during the holiday season. What started out as a half-hearted effort to be kind turned into a tradition that she repeated every year. Destiny always feels good after she sends her cards away, she knows that the people who receive these cards need the extra joy. She doesn't sign her cards because she believes that you don't have to show who you are to make another happy.

What is this bean's favourite thing about the Holidays?: Giorgio's favorite thing about the holidays is a personal tradition! Every year the day after Thanksgiving, Giorgio invites his friends and his cousins over to his house to decorate the Christmas tree! The catch is that each year they have a different theme -- the tradition was started 3 years ago. The first year's theme was stuffed animals. The tree was filled with Boyds Bears stuffed ornaments. The second year was vintage -- the tree was covered with expensive, fragile ornaments from the 1960's. The year's theme was friends! His tree was decorated with picture frames with pictures of his friends. This is Giorgio's favorite tradition because he loves to have friends over (seeing as he lives alone), and he likes to choose the theme each year!

This JBD loves the holidays more than anything! The shopping starts early, of course--before Thanksgiving if she can help it! She loves shopping for presents and wrapping them up in pretty paper with matching ribbons and bows plus lovely tags. She tucks in a lovely handwritten card and hides them away until the appointed night. She also loves cooking food for the whole JBD family, setting the table and serving it all out--she hates washing dishes, though, so here's to hoping someone chips in! Hot cocoa on cold nights, playing in the snow, singing Christmas carols, even being decorated.

It is a Christmas tradition that everyone have the lights up around the Christmas tree or on the house. It is something that we can all relate to, even if you don't celebrate Christmas. The electric glow of different colors and textures. It gives us hope. What saved Christmas when it was too foggy, a light!(Rudolf's nose) What do people do everywhere to make sure we don't lose faith, make lights. Lights are pure and they gives us something to put our being into. Most believe that they are a sign of goodness and happiness, for they light our way. The Christmas lights/menorah candles every year show that their is goodness in all. Christmas is not about shopping and buying presents it is about being with your family may they be next to you or miles away they are with you always. Lights are in my mind the ultimate gift of life.
