Let's just say, I'm heavily inspired by my second language, Danish. Can't really help it, but it certainly gives a mysterious and different sounding touch to names xD
Nordlys is the Danish word for "North light". Honestly, I am not that certain as to why he's named that. I mean, it's not that reminds me of north light. Or does it?
Well, what happened was that I kept on thinking... Gladis, no... Vintre, no... hey, what about something to remind me of my trip to Greenland earlier this year?! I remember the first time I saw the light, it was rather faint, but still so breathtaking... But the interesting thing is, earlier that evening one of my friends had broken her arm... we decided to say that the light was a good omen, and sure it was! Only a few weeks later (and not the two months the doctor said), she could use her arm again!
And that's sort of how I decided to call him Nordlys!

Since I have such a long story as to what his name is, I guess it shouldn't be too much trouble to give him a fitting personality.
Nordlys is gentle. He loves everyone and everything and will always stay calm in any situation. He dreams of being a doctor (if he was a human) since he is always looking for someone to help. His calm nature comes from the night he resembles, the time where all creatures are slowly flying into dreamland...
He has a friend named Sommeris, a bright and happy pseudodragon, one very different from him! At times, he is the only one who can get to to calm down from her hyper state... but that is another story!
