What is a Kora?
A Kora is a large feline largely resembling a leopard or lion. All Koras have a fluffy dorsal mane, starting from the end of the tail and ending at the crown of the head, falling over the face. Their faces are broad, like a lion, but they have wider eyes adapted to seeing in the dark. Koras have large, tufted tails. We have yet to know what the purpose of such an ornamental tail would be. Koras have short, coarse fur, good for keeping out water and unfavorable temperatures. Much like their ancestors, the leopard, cheetah, and jaguar, all Koras have spots almost covering their bodies. Occasionally they may be more sparse, but they will always have them for the purpose of camouflage in their harsh wild habitat.

What do you love most about the holidays?
Gosh, there are so many things! I have to say, my favorite thing about the holidays is decorating - no joke. The Sunday before Christmas, we all get together at my church and decorate. Christmas music is always playing somewhere, people are happy, singing, dancing, and making our small little church look absolutely stunning. Everyone does their fair share, no one slacks off, and it's a true representation of humanity as you look at all the work a group of people can do if everyone does their job and doesn't complain. The lunch afterwards is always light and entertaining, while everyone admires the work and finishes up last minute tweaking of decorations, and when everything comes together, it looks perfect. There's nothing I enjoy more than spreading the holiday cheer by devoting my own personal time to decorate someplace that deserves to be beautiful.
