I've never liked fish. They smell putrid. They taste terrible. They feel gross. Everything about fish is bad. The puns people make, the sport, the fact that people keep them as pets. They just float and waste water. But my parents insist I love fish. They are both marine biologists. They are obsessed with fish. For my 10th birthday they bought me my own fish tank and some fish to go in it. Last year for my 14th they got me a diving suit. The worst part about everything is that they call me "Blue Fish". Why cant they call me Ariana or even Ari? They tell me I need to work with them to follow in their footsteps. I dont want to though. I want to be Ariana, the girl who doesnt work with fish.
