Hermy
The first name that popped into my head when I saw this minty guy was Colgate, after the brand of toothpaste. Unfortunately that name was already taken and I wanted to choose a unique name for him, but still keep the dental theme, so I went with Hermy, the name of the elf in "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" who wanted to become a dentist.
Personality:
You'd think being a deer made out of ice cream would mean Hermy loves sweets, but it's actually quite the contrary. Hermy is literally terrified of anything with sugar in it, thinking that just one little cookie will wreak havoc on his teeth. It's gotten so bad, he can't stand even being in the same room as a cake or a danish. Given that his entire species is made out of pure dessert, it's hard for Hermy to make friends with anyone who can't convince him of their lack of sugar (Telling himself repeatedly that he must be made of sugar-free ice cream is how he manages to look at himself without breaking into a sweat). Ironically, despite his name Hermy isn't actually too fond of dentists. His intolerance of sweets partially stems from his fear of ending up on the wrong side of a more than uncomfortable dental procedure.
