Personality:
Kochi is easy-going, and fairly chill with things. An optimist to the core, not much really comes to bother him. Though he is quite lethargic, as ironic as it would seem. As a young little kiamara, he was considered to be rambunctious and energetic which came to fade with time. Don't get the wrong idea however! Kochi can be energetic, and on occasion is. He tends not to be on such a hype as it drains him out to the point where he'll fall asleep just about anywhere once he reaches his limit (similarly to a sugar rush). Perhaps the strangest of things in regards to Kochi, is that many kiamaras mention privately that they tend to feel more energy when near this lethargic fellow. Particularly when Kochi is at his most tired, others around him tend to feel the very opposite.

"A sense of panic rose up in the male kiamara as the flood held no mercy. She was going to have the baby. Now. There was no holding it off any more... He let her lean on him as they dashed into a half-destroyed facility, the rain pursuing them inside. Once they were a safe distance back, she was quick to fall onto her side. Her breathing consisted of heavy gasps as her stomach gave a powerful ripple.
The male backed up and whimpered. He was petrified. He couldn't do this... His mate was already loosing blood from a gash on her leg. And now she was crying out, convulsing. He watched in mute horror. What could he possibly do?
Some of the windows gave out and sent shattered glass showering everywhere, and an alarm started from inside the heavily-mechanized facility.
Soon came a haunting, primal noise from his mate. She was looking so weak and tired... He felt lightheaded when he saw the pup. There was only one, tiny but alive. His mate looked the opposite, and he cried her name. She was barely breathing. So little life left...
He stared as she weakly lifted her head to lick the pup. Though the alarm was still blaring, he could hear her whisper, above it all.
"My energy now goes... my energy to... you... ko...chi"
A moment of paralysis hung in the air after she said that, and her head fell limp. Life left her eyes as he lunged towards her in despair. He nosed her over but there was nothing... she was gone. He repeated the word 'no' like an incantation, his voice panicked.
The pup made attempts at wriggling around, and its tiny mouth opening in protest as it was ignored. He looked at the pup, shaking with grief, and knew what he had to do. Turning one final time to his mate, pressing his wet face against hers and barely able to hold back his emotions, he managed to whisper of his promise to take care of her energy, her pup, Kochi.
The male pressed his rain-soaked muzzle against her soft face one more time, memorizing her sweet scent. He turned away from her, pain searing through his heart, grabbing the silently mewling pup and walked away. A fire now raging, he was forced back out to the tempest.
He did not look back."
