Ohh, I'm blind in my left eye, too! But it is due to bullying business </3 Sadly. I'd love to have a Best Friend to have something in common with me owousername; Bored.com
name; Briller
It means to "Shine", in French. I think she shines out amongst others because she is blind, yet strong in so many ways.
gender; Female.
is she blind in the other eye too?; I would hope not.
how she became blind;
"Beautiful girl" She whispered in her ear, a soft wind blowing across her fur. She shut her eyes. She loved being outside with her mother, for her mother loved nature, and very kind and beautiful. She opened her eyes, looking up at the sky, which was cloudless, and yet, radiant.
"How come the sky is blue, ma?" she asked kindly, her tail curling around her paws neatly.
"Well, it's because the most beautiful girls go up there when they pass, making the sky turn a radiant blue, darling" her mother answered. She giggled. She loved her mother telling wacky stories on nature, always about beautiful girls. She knew her mother thought of her as beautiful, just as beautiful as her. Her blind eye was nothing, just merely a feature, not a flaw.
"Ma, tell me the truth!" She giggled.
"I am giving you the things I only know" her mother replied, softly, a smile curving on her lips.
"Maaaaaa" she whined, looking up at the sky.
"Alright, alright" her mother chuckled.
"From what I know, the stars are the souls of lovely girls who are unique and beautiful in their own way. Like, the way you were born with only your right eye being able to see, darling" Her mother spoke softly, but anyone could tell she was serious.
"So, I'll be able to be in the stars some-day?"
Her mother smiled, and nodded.
"And what are shooting stars?"
"Shooting stars are the ones who are reborn, darling. The ones being carried away to another life"
Briller looked up at the sky, smiling "When's night time, ma?"
"Soon, child, soon"
Briller never looked at the stars the same way again, for she knew, deep inside, she would always love the stars, for where she would belong when she passed happily.
