Why: Its Spanish for blood river. When I saw this guy, I thought his markings made him look the he was underwater, and he's part shark. The color reminded me of the fake blood in cheesy horror films. So, blood river, or río de sangre.

I would name this boy kerosene. I would name him this because about a year ago, my home almost got burnt down due to a large kerosene spill. I had to leave for 6 months to a new environment because the scene was so terrible. It caused me so much pain, and my life is just getting back to normal now. He really reminds me of that time and how I felt then. I connect with him on a very deep level.

This Mako looks very daunting, most especially to the world and maybe even to himself.
I've always liked the name Dante, and in this particular case I thought of it as a derivative of the word "daunting".
Historically, Dante was the author of "The Divine Comedy," a very famous piece of literature that describes an imaginary journey through Hell. This Mako also seems like the kind to explore and write about such things.

If I were to win this guy, I'd name him Shax.
Why:
The name Shax comes from a demon named Shax aka Chax or Scox. After reading his description, I found it would match this guy great. First of, Shax is a Night Demon. Not only does this guy look like he has the coloring of a demon, to me, he looks like he'd be a darker guy, like he'd just love darkness. Second, despite being a night demon, Shax is a good demon. He has a totally good "work ethic", and will do a task specifically very enthusiastically. He is like a dark Robin Hood - he is very powerful but his residual energy is very helpful. To me at least, this is exactly what I see. A powerful mako, that actually is a hard worker and enjoys helping others, but in secret.

Why: I was thinking Raiden, but I think Raikin suits him a little better. I choose it because one of my guy friend's name is Raiden, but I thought that would be a little creepy, so I mixed it up and put different endings to "Rai" and I thought Raikin fit him best! c:

Although it might seem like a stereotypical name for him, I named him after a move from Pokemon. To be specific, Absol. He might look dangerous and I even imagine he has some bad luck, he's really means no harm. Absol is a Pokemon that appears during a natural disaster. Most people think that it brings disaster in it's path but it's really there to warn them. He only intends to do good things but his looks makes other think otherwise.

Why:

When I saw this boy, I fell in love. I fell in love with the white mane,
his red and black pelt. All of it. When I see him, I see a bad boy who
won't stop until he gets what he wants. The guy who will hussle you,
cheat you, then vanish. A non-guilty guy. And for some reason, going
through my favourite names, Cross just seemed to fit. I actually
haven't ever thought of using the name Cross, but it popped into my
head and.. I just think it's a gorgeously perfect name for this guy.
I think my attraction to this name is the irony between the name,
And the personality I've created for him in my mind. I'm not sure,
but you have to admit it's a cute name, wether I win or not. =u=

Aeru means the Gentle of the Fierce. This mako is fierce and crude to many, only to hide the deceiving softness of love for many. He's embarrassed to show it, for everyone regards him "the boss". I simply added the 'prefix', ghn, for a full name instead of just Aeru.
