I am not one who is good with hard contests, and let me tell you, this was one. There were so many amazing forms, with or without extras, that drew my eye and I would like to thank each and every one of you for giving your time to try out for this little girl today.
And by the end, me and a guest judge have narrowed it down to just three people.
Katie Cat, mango sherbert and ƜσℓʌɛƨǤσЯαωя;; first thank you all so so much for trying, and making your forms so wonderful. This was truly such a hard decision, but there can only be one winner ;u;!
I would like to bore you with a paragraph about why I loved these forms.
Katie Cat; Your form stood out from the beginning, the dedication and effort you were putting in really made me realize how much you wanted her. I really wanted to see your Asuna going to a great and dedicated home, who would be an active member in the 00E00 community and be another pillar to keep this species going, and it's community more active. I could tell you would be that person. The theme song and its matching art was gorgeous and filled with her personality. You ordered much art of Asuna, and filled out her character well. You seemed so dedicated and such a loving owner.
@ mango sherbert - While not filled with art or text, your form was one from when I saw completed, I knew would have to place. You had the personality effort I was looking for, and the way she fits with Ramona, your 00E00 is remarkable and completely realistic. It is completely thought out and seems like a wonderful basis for a gorgeous character.
ƜσℓʌɛƨǤσЯαωя; not everything about your form was perfect, and there are some things that I didn't particularly like in your form, but overall it was stunning. You had me captured by the name section. The part I loved most about your form, is the in-depth and detailed personality that had a little bit more of that special something to make it really seem believable, and not flat or overused. The theme song was gorgeous as well, a good choice. You defiantly went way above and beyond to show me just how much you cared and wanted this character. The story was captivating and descriptive, and the favorite movie really seemed to fit in with the character in whole. There is just one thing I could not get over, and being a crucial part to the form, I took this in high regards; your why you want her section was perfect. I am a very weak person when it comes to persuading, but you - not only did you persuade me, you took me and made me connect. Not just to the character, but to you.
I knew what you were talking about. I can feel what you mean and every word you put in the paragraph and so much more.
& that is why I would like to congratulate you ƜσℓʌɛƨǤσЯαωя for winning your beautiful Bambi.
While I wrote this conclusion, I kept on wondering if my choice was what I really had wanted, because this was so very close.
I'm sorry for those who did not win, but please, keep your chin up and keep trying.
I would encourage all the art to go to the winner. This is a practice I will keep in mind in other competitions. Good sportsmanship, even if you are disappointed. Thank you all for trying out, and have wonderful luck in your next competition.
