Hello! I'm Coloré, but I'm sure you know
who I am. C: I am one of the people who
is trying out for this boy and I wish
everyone luck.
-Show Name-
That would be 'Kickin' up Dust' I think it
suits him. (hopefully I can produce a
theme for it!)
-Barn Name-
'Dusty' to go along with his show name.
-Gender-
Dusty is a stallion, a male horse.
-Coloration-
He is a beautiful Rose Grey Splash Overo.
What I would do for a horse like him<3
-Breed-
American Paint Horse cross mustang.
-Personality-
Dusty Is a wild horse. He has a fiery spirit
and always takes the chance to annoy someone.
He misbehaves when he doesn't get his way and
acts stupid in front of mares to impress them. If
anything, he is a playful, childish horse. Always
mucking around when he is meant to be
concentrating on his job. He is fond of children
and foals but doesn't usually see them as people
consider him too dangerous to be with people
who cant defend their selves. Dusty can be a
loving and caring horse to mares that he has
strong feelings towards. His favorite thing to
do would be running in fields and going for
trail rides, but he is usually doing western riding.
His owner trained him to perfection so he doesn't
lack in experience and certainly not confidence!!!
-History-
Dusty started when his mother, a wild mustang, was let in with her father, a
purebred paint who belonged to the man who captured his mother accidentally.
One thing led to another and she fell pregnant. It came as quite a surprise
that the young stallion could get anywhere near the wild mare, but they just
seemed to click. As the mare was young, she hadn't foaled before and it came
across hard for her. Through the struggle of Dusty's birth, the poor filly passed
away and due to the fact he was born with the gestation period of ten months,
he was premature. As you can imagine, it was hard for Dusty, but he managed
to grow up bottle fed. He came across many sicknesses within the first year of
his life but his father protected him through the colder nights. When he turned
from a colt to a stallion he started getting his mothers moody and fiery attitude
and became difficult to contain so his owner, the cowboy like owner of his parents,
started training him straight away. He was hard to break, but he eventually got
the message that his owner wasn't giving in so he went along with it and trained
to love any and all western style disciplines. His father died he was out with their
owner, herding mustangs for illegal marketing when a huge storm hit. The land
became slippery and his father slipped, breaking his back, neck and two legs.
His owner had to put him out of his misery and shot him. Dusty can remember
pricking up his ears to the crackle of a distant gunshot. Ever since, Dusty
has been riding western and playing with the mares. His owner stopped the
marketing business and started breeding horses.
-Poem-
I Ride My Horse
I feel the wind
I hear the birds
I ride my horse
As I sing words
I see the grass
I feel the leather
I ride my horse
Upon the heather
I taste the dust
I see the heat
I ride my horse
To his own beat
I feel the joy
I taste the fun
I ride my horse
Into the yellow sun

(Hint: Overos don't show up in Warmblood or Iberian breeds!)
