From the dark tones to the bold crosses, I see a character who would ignore all the misfortune in her life,
even as it ate at her sanity. She would tailor her life to her own fantasies, like a child who grew up and

let me tell you a story of a time long ago
when the monsters of steel ruled the seas
there once was a monster that topped them all,
it was was Edmund Fitzgerald, you see.

He reminds me of a shipwreck, stained green with algae and ruse throughout the years. A specific wreck comes to mind, however, when I see him. It was the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It crashed in lake Superior, one of the great lakes of Michigan. It is still there today, and actually, I've gone and seen it.

This Kia reminds me of a clay pot. It's the colors that mostly remind me of clay pottery, and the markings were out there to make it look fancier, or to spice it up. I know it's a bit strange and all, but it's what Glina reminds me of. I couldn't think of anything else, and when I first saw her, an image of a pot I saw at an art gallery popped into my mind. Ironically, the same shade of blue and yellow were used.

what does this kiamara remind you of;; This Kiamara reminds me of a naval submarine or naval ship. The markings on its feathers are just like a commander's clothes, and by that, I've already decided on his personality XD. The yellow on his back reminds me of the lights inside the submarines ( the ones that have a gazillion buttons), while I think the Xs symbolises something that is caught on the sumbmarine's radar. Therefore, alone with the deep bluish green colour scheme, I really think it looks like a submarine.

what does this kiamara remind you of;; Several things. Maybe a decaying leaf, an old bog, or just something that's been contaminated or is radioactive. I even keep thinking zombie, even with the lack of the gore that marks zombies. I looked at the kia for a while, trying to decide one of them, and I feel like he reminds me of an abandoned bog. Maybe the bog was abandoned because it was contaminated with wastes. Maybe they were scared away by this kiamara, thinking he was some dangerous creature roaming the bog. Maybe people just left the bog because of it's lack of use to them. But that's what he reminds me of c:

◆ Hello, there! I'm Scarlett, a non-owner looking for a Kia to love for life! I've been in the competitions since about around 335, so I have experience, if you will. I found this Kia hard to resist, so here I am! I'm gonna try to give this my all in one day, and on a concert day, too, so just grab your popcorn and relax; this shouldn't take too long.

◆ This Kia would have to be a girl. The design and reference sheet is the same for every Kia, I know, but this one seems to have a feminine edge, in my mind. The glint in the eye, the position, I don't know... I just have a gut feeling that this one has to be a girl. I can't really describe it, but I know that it is how I will represent Xenia.


◆ There are so many things that she reminds me of, to start. Radioactive chemicals, camouflage, etc... But the thing that really got me was how much her pelt colors compare to something I have been so close to all my life.

I know we can't give out too much information about ourselves, so I'll try to limit this. But I live in an area with so many swampy areas and marshes, they are practically around every corner. My grandparents used to take me out to the state parks and see how wonderful nature is. But what I could never get out of my mind were the plants in the area. So, from my distinct memory, I think that Xenia's coat color is that of a scrub of densely packed duckweed over dark waters. It makes sense; I've looked at small scrub like that for a while. I used to just sit there for the longest time, watching the frogs and other animals hop along, touch, or skim across the delicate pieces of duckweed. It's actually cute, in my opinion, to see a frog's head just looking up at you through the duckweed. And the way that the x pattern is just cleanly cut from the green reminds me of how cleanly and nicely duckweed can split from its clumps, to show the water hidden under its blockage.

This is also somewhat symbolic to her traits, also. For instance, in her ever-growing personality, Xenia doesn't trust others easily, and often slips away from help, just like duckweed is very slippery, and not easy at all to keep in your hands. The dark colored pelt colors represent her somewhat dark personality; hard, slightly cold, sarcastic, the kind of Kia who will give it to you straight and not even try to sugar-coat the truth. Though her name means hospitality, that's almost as far as her essential kindness goes. She likes to make other Kias right at home, but yes, that's pretty much where it ends. She claims that the name was given to her by mistake by her hippie parents, who wanted their daughter to have a name that had a sentimental meaning.
