The Shionnix is a fox/bird like hyrid that resides on a series
of beautiful floating mountainous islands high above the clouds. They are decorated with beautiful exotic colours and patterns, and of course their extravagant plumes, each different to every other Shionnex. On the ground they are extremely fast runners due to their two strong legs and light bones. Their bodies are covered in thick feathery fur, soft to the touch.

The Pious One

Eusebios

Meaning:
"Eusebios" is an ancient Greek name derived from "eusebes" which means 'pious'. Many saints had this name.

Personality:

Pious
Eusebios is devoutly religious. Not many Shionnix, if any, believe in a higher power. Eusebios does, however, and believes in it greatly. He calls this higher power 'The Almighty', but doesn't often speak of it to other Shionnix. He tends to keep this belief to himself, as he has often been shunned because of this belief.

Note; He doesn't necessarily believe in our God, but he does believe there is a higher power with a plan.

Overconfident
He tends to get ahead of himself and his abilities. He likes to show off to anyone and everyone, and this often leads to him hurting himself, and more often hurting his pride. He has confidence, a heaping load of it, and this drives him to try things most other Shionnix would know they could not do.

Rude
Eusebios has a tendency to be rude. It doesn't matter if he's talking to family or a stranger. He's not even fully aware he's doing it, even if its brought to his attention. He'll say whatever he thinks and pleases, whether its rude to another or not. He just simply doesn't care, and will speak his mind.

Anti-Social
He doesn't really like to socialize. He doesn't like being thrown into social events and he tends to keep his mouth shut more often than not. When he does speak, however, he comes off as rude and mean, even if he doesn't mean too. He becomes uncomfortable in social situations and finds himself often backing and huddling in a corner, trying not to be noticed.

Annoying
Eusebios can be very, very annoying. Even without speaking his mind, he can be. Other Shionnix find his habits and oddities to be very grating on their energy, and as such, not many Shionnix gravitate towards him.

Story:
Involving my other Shionnix, Oriens

Even though the sun had yet to rise, Eusebios was up and about. The usually hermit like Shionnix was expecting company! He had let himself go about, straightening up his nest, fluffing up the down and pushing sticks and strings back into place. His nest was a mess, but by the time he was done, it was a wonderful little place.

Turning around, he saw the sun rising with a familiar looking friend coming towards his nest as the rays of sunlight filtered in through the leaves above him. Eusebios backed up and let his friend land, and when she did, he smiled widely, "Oriens!" The sunrise colored Shionnix lifted her light blue eyes up to him, and she smiled in return, "Sebi!" Her voice was light and chirpy, like a little songbird.

Eusebios fell back into his familiar favorite spot towards the back of his nest. He may have been rather anti-social, but he did enjoy Oriens' company here and there. She was a nice enough Shionnix, pretty at that, but he didn't really find her as a romantic interest, no.
