She uses it to communicate with her animal friends. She had all of them attach a bell to their tails and created a language which uses the bells to figure out what her friends are doing. If they needed help, they would ring four times loudly, if they wanted to play they would do a long ring and then a short one, etc. She never takes it off, no matter what, because you never know what happens to your friends when your not around.

One day, this donuter was out walking. Energetic as always, she found a little bell. Thinking she might like it for her owner, she put it in her mouth. Of course, being the energetic donuter she is, she saw her tail bobbing and chased it. But the poor kitty soon got the bell wrapped around her tail, and nobody could get it out.

the bell?;; Sine she was young, Tesria always loved anything shiny. Like a magpie, she would take anything shiny she could get her hands on. However, she eventually ran out of room in her house and had to throw out many of her prized possessions. She had gotten rid of everything or so she thought. However, as she went to bed that night, she kicked something with her foot and heard a jingle. Curious, she searched around the room until she found it. Holding it up to the light, she realized it was a small bell, the last of her loved shiny items. In memory of her treasured items long gone, Tesria made a pact to herself to tie it to her tail and never forget her past.
